Perfect place to stay if you want to travel cheap. Went to Mexico on a solo trip and to be honest I was not expecting much from this place. However when I reached there it's really nice. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and very spacious. Apparently it's family owned. Can walk down to nearby shops to purchase snacks etc. Rooms have a tiny fridge. Hotel accepted US credit and debit cards which was a relief.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Marisol Boutique Hotel. As a solo female traveller, it was perfect for me. The staff were kind and helpful. The location was great, close to the beach, supermarket, eateries, buses. I will definitely stay here again when I come back. This photo is a view from balcony looking out to the beach.

Marisols little Boutique Hotel is a super nice place to stay in San José del Cabo. It lies very central in walking distance to both a nice Beach, a supermarket and several nice restaurants. The staff is very friendly and all rooms are roomy and comfy. We stayded here two times and liked it a lot better then the big Hotel chains!

Had a great two night stay this April at Marisol, quiet, relaxing… best sleep I have had in a long time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything you need is close by, including the beach and bus stop. I will make this my stop anytime I travel to San Jose del Cabo and highly recommend the hotel to everyone. Marisol at the front desk offers a really valuable contribution to your holiday! He Answers all the questions, offers valuable information on The beaches and restaurants. The structure is new, in an area close to the beach, quiet, in development. Parking in front of the hotel is Convenient. The Room is comfortable but lacking in lighting. Excellent Bathroom products (shampoo and shower gel).

I recently spent 2 days at he Marisol Boutique Hotel while travelling north to the La Ventana area for my winter Kite Surfing trip. I use this hotel frequently both arriving and leaving Mexico for the past 4 years. This hotel is not fancy but it is clean comfortable and perfectly located in San Jose Del Cabo. It is fairly priced, the owners are like family in their treatment of guests. Their staff are courteous and friendly. The restaurant below the hotel serves a perfect American breakfast. On this last trip the airlines lost some of our baggage. We needed to stay an extra night or more in hopes of our baggage being found and catching up to us. Words can't describe the helpfulness of the owners in making sure we would have a room during this stressful period and in helping us communicate with airlines staff. Thank you, thank you Marisol and your family and staff for your generosity and help.

Small hotel, 8 rooms in total, but beautiful and tastefully decorated a couple of them even have ocean view, and very reasonably priced. Within walking distance to shopsand the beach. The staff is very helpful, and the owner is on site a lot of the time, and she will do anything to make your stay great. I highly reccomend it to anyone visiting San Jose del Cabo.

Great spot close to the ocean. The owner, Marisol, is helpful and has great tips about local eateries and the best beaches around. Free parasol, beach chair and beach towel rentals. Highly recommended.

Very loud noises from the other rooms. Our air conditioner was not working. It was hot, we couldn't sleep. No one was available to inform. They would work with us to discount our room. It was our second time staying there. More than likely won't stay agai.

The most helpful and accommodating hotel staff I've ever met, amazing people, went above and beyond for every request we had, there are great tacos and fine dining just up the street and walking to the beach was easy. Place was super clean when we arrived and kept clean the whole time. Unbelievable value for the money.

Loved this place! My room was immaculate, spacious, the bed was perfect and the AC was quiet and cool. It is about a block from the beach and two of the rooms have a nice, indirect beach/sea view. Marisol and Guillermo were perfect hosts, with great information on restaurants and stuff. Since it is a smaller hotel, you really get great service. It was hard to find the first time, it is directly above CJ's New York Deli which is just west of Cynthias. Just tell the cab driver that is on Paseo Malecon just south of the Mega and that will get you within a block of the place. It is in the two story building with the round "lighthouse" on top.

Beautiful place. Folks are so friendly and nice. Very comfortable rooms. Regular sized beds but 2 of them so not crowded. Comfortable AC. Bring a wash cloth as there is none! Cynthias organic restaurant is just around the corner. Generous helpings, reasonably priced. Also restaurant under the hotel. You will not go wrong here!

Excellent service by the lord bigoton that attends the reception on the night, taking the hassle of take me to the atm in his car at 11:30 PM. Very clean with all amenities and comfortable. I recommend the 100% super charge.
