It'S Hotel knew better times, not bad if you just need a clean place to sleep.

Lovely staff, very welcoming. Pool was nice, short walk to the beach. Bins changed daily and new towels every 2-3 days. You get what you pay for so no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay in Bugibba! 15th-22nd May room C304 Thankyou for everything we will be returning! :)

What a excellent place to stay. The pictures of the rooms do not do them justice. We have a lovely lounge kitchen perfect bedroom and ideal bathroom. The apartment is spotless. And up on arrival nearly an hour late through plane delay the guy at reception was brilliant very helpful and informative. The cleaning lady is really nice and helpful and is doing regular cleaning rounds. All in all what a great place. The manager can be emailed before you arrive and he will answer all queries very quickly. For the price we paid we are amazed at just what you get. Definitely be coming back… Well done to all the staff at the Mavina. And thank you from myself. 2 and a half year old daughter and mummy. Update just booked for 2 weeks in October.

The only issue with the Mavina is GREAT TV but only one English channel reception is very poor. Other than that great apartment.

The assessment, of course, depends on expectations. For a short time — trip is in full order. The room was a bit worn out, but very clean and spacious and had a balcony. If someone is resting something from sightseeing, even has a pool. The receptionists were all very friendly.

Good and cheap place to stay a few days in Malta. Shops, restaurants and lots of parking in the vicinity…

Price performance is reasonable. The rooms very large and beautiful, the kitchen and the bathroom very old and worn out.

Cheap getaway. Its not luxury, its not the best, but you get for your money clean (can be better :-) ) place to sleep. Bus stop is close by, good and affordable breakfast in Koffee, Malta aquarium, grocery stores. You can check in after 14h, no TV remote in price, but hey you are here to see and feel Malta :-)

Its not clean. For me thats very important. Room for 3 is for 2.5 not for 3 people. One bed is sofa in living room and its small and slipery, very bad for sleeping. If they give you room that look on the street, it very noisy. Good thing is location, bus is near, an good restaurant for brekfast is near.

Cheap and comfortable. Public transport in 2 minutes.

Great little cheap place. Don't expect much as in room cleaning or the like. But staff are pleasant and pool was good. 5 minutes walk from main shopping area. And 2 minutes walk from local bus station.

Great value. Spacious and clean. 24hour reception. All necessary kitchen equipment for 1 week stay. Pool area was good too but a bit too cold to go in as it was March.

Typical hotel. Nothing especially bad about it. Cleaning was a bit random. Every room has it's own kitchen with a oven, stove and a refrigirator. Also, every room had it's own balcony. No breakfast included.

Very convenient. Near the stops and the promenade.

Pokoje przyległe do baru/dyskoteki są bardzo głośne do ok 5 rano, wiec można zapomnieć o spokojnym śnie. Na szczęście udało nam się zmienić pokój po kilku dniach I przenieść do bardziej odległej części hotelu. W styczniu było bardzo zimno w pokoju. Na szczęście po paru dniach obsługa dostarczyła piecyk elektryczny. Plusem jest lokalizacja, miła obsługa I niska cena, ale mimo to drugi raz bym już tego hotelu nie zarezerwował.

Hi if you are thinking about booking this place then please consider following I've tried to be fair — don't have rooms A102 101/3/4 105/6/7/8. It's bloody noisy at night after 10pm I'm sat in bed 1.12am right now this is 3rd night in a row with karoke banging through our apartment walls till about 3am every night, karoke pub restaurant adjoining our apartment, Chinese restaurant below us extract fan kicks in till 11pm off bathroom. Doors bang alot TV was missing, replaced but only get 4 channels not much use anyway,, have complained about pub told only licensed till midnight for music so would inform police music stI'll blaring. Furniture dated like other reviews, loose tap, patio doors bit dodgy to open, but place clean & fresh towels, beds comfortable, water hot and staff very helpful and friendly. Kitchenette sparse but adequate no oven cooking trays (maintenance guy was shocked we wanted to cook in it) IT IS SELF CATERING THE CLUES IN THE TITLE) electricity trips if too much on. Pool looks good and clean in block via reception. Yes we didn't pay ritz prices but expect at least to get some sleep at reasonable hour despite cost. There is no sandy beach but we are close to the sea front not many shops but reasonable prices in restaurants n cafes especially in buggiba square. Brilliant buses, cheap and 5mins from hotel goes everywhere for E1.50 mostly. Visit Valletta lovely city did Ghost tour evening and shopping daytime.

An absolute nightmare… we checked out within 12 hrs of arriving … cock roaches in the bathroom, broken shower fittings, the view was of a derelict piece of land and when we complained the reception staff became defensive and offered no apologies or alternatives. This place should be closed down and that is no exaggeration. Avoid it like the plague.

Poor Cleaning, dirty sheets and blankets on arrival and never changed so much to sleep dressed for the crap, the white slippers we used in the room at the end of the stay were black. It was a very nice and friendly Staff. For 3 Evenings we reported to the reception the disturbance that they were, but never intervened anyone. Zero cleanliness, zero rest and poor structure, a nightmare!

Nice staff and good accommodation. Very good prices during this time of the year! You have access to all the utilities in your apartment and this makes your stay even easier :)

No complaints. Budget apartment but everything we needed. Staff helpful and place is clean.

Clean apartments. Very friendly helpful staff. Wi-Fi available. Reasonable rates. Close to beaches, shopping, supermarkets, restaurants and bars.

Nice central location — close to Trolees food shop and bus station. Apartment basic. Good places to eat out — sea front 200 yards.

Good apartments friendly staff lacks full air conditioning thought (portable supplied) and poor range of cooking equipment.

Decent Hotel and clean enough. Shower for low people, kitchen not really stocked, courteous staff with 24h reception. Cleaning every 2 days. Convenient location near the. Bus station and in the center of Bugibba. Recommended for those in the room there is little.

Great value! I rented a studio apartment and it was larger than I imagined for the price… my family did also and were very pleased with their room… It's the perfect location as it is close to the sea, shops, eating places, bus terminal etc… and the staff were very helpful and welcoming… I would definitely stay here again.

Good value hotel. We had an apartment with kitchenette — fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Nice small swimming pool, staff responsive to requests. Would use again. Wi-Fi only available in reception.

I had booked two rooms at the Mavina, upon arrival to our rooms I had a look around and was immediately happy with what I had received for the price I had paid. The rooms were generally clean and provided the basics that you need to cook or clean within the apartment. The staff were always friendly when talking to them and it is a generally pleasant stay at the Mavina, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back here if I was to return. There was a few negative things about the hotel, however, these were not a good enough reason to not return or stay within the room. The room that I stayed in (room A101) was next door to a bar/nightclub that was playing loud music until 2/3am. This had kept me awake a little. Upon arrival to the room I had noticed a few hairs on the covers and pillows — I know this cannot be helped in all cases which is why it does not bother me. Furthermore, the room that I had booked was not next to the people that I was staying with, my room was outside of the reception and not on the same floor — this may not have been the hotels fault as I had made two separate bookings for the hotel. These are only little things that weren't so great, but these are easily overlooked by the price of the hotel, it is a bargain!
