I recommend staying in this hotel, friendly and helpful staff and great location x transfers. I found myself very well.

Lovely location of hotel right by the sea. Beautiful hotel big rooms clean and We’ll presented. Nothing was a problem to the staff especially the reception staff John, Georgina and Georgie who went above and beyond to make our stay the best we had. Also a very special thank you to Clare the bar staff who has the most kindest sole and went above and beyond for us thank you.

Spacious room with good bedding. Knowledgeable and helpful smiling staff. Hotel well located (20 minutes from Valetta by bus) to allow you to visit the island by bus. 2 stops very close to the hotel and well connected. We had a very nice stay (10 days).

Preluna beach club is not allowing residents for a day by the pool anymore. Went there today, a lot of free sunbeds… What a bs really! During the pandemic the locals were good enough for visiting and paying there. Never again!

Hotel is lovely as are the staff internet Wi-Fi absolutely a nightmare complained and complained day before we left someone from IT came up AND WORSE THn ever.

Best waiter's best food the restaurant the head waiter's very gentle recommend.

Great location, hotel is surrounded with shops and facilities. Even to do not go out everything is there inside of the hotel, shops, three restaurants and bar, gym with spa and more… it's a like a maze, but is challenge, every way move you take will find some good surprise. Rooms are retro stylish, cozy and tidy. I must to mention the bed's, soo conformable. All in all, one BIG star, I'm still in it and exploring.

Water leaks in rooms, horrid food, jacuzzis were almost cold.

Staff so attentive. Just feels like a home from home.

Friendly helpful staff particularly the Manager Nicholas and David at the pool bar. Ideal base for seeing the island.

We stayed at this lovely hotel over the New Years Eve. Its spotlessly clean. All amenities possible are found in thr room. Indoor pool very elegant. Dinner at Sakura was impressive. So was breakfast in the Morning. Very well served by Christabelle at reception. And the 2 Davids at the restaurant :)
All the staff are very attentive and very professional. Thank you for ending our year and starting the new year the perfect way :)

Spent Sunday at Preluna Hotel. Lunch at The Triton Restaurant and afternoon tea at The Skyroom. Delicious food, excellent service and very friendly staff. The Skyroom has been beautifully renovated and worth visiting. Well done to all.

Had a lovely experience at The Triton Restaurant today. The staff are very efficient and cordial, the food is delicious and the seaview is superb. It was a delightful family get — together and we will surely revist. Keep it up!

Great location, comes with pools and beach. A bit old and tired rooms but decent. Helpful and friendly staff! I would come again.

Good hotel, great location to get around and great services offered (I recommend including breakfast because it's buffet and great)
Only flaw, we didn't have the sea view and the room wasn't much from 4 stars (especially the bathroom), but given the affordable fare we didn't say anything.
The hotel doesn't have a parking lot, just a few places in front. And in the streets around it is difficult to find a place, so maybe the moped is more recommended and comfortable to move around.
If you have the car, look where you leave it, we in front of the entrance of the hotel we took a fine. The yellow ground strips are faded a bit everywhere, you always have to check not to be banned.
The location is also great for getting to St. Julian (restaurants) and Paceville (locals and nightclubs), so despite everything I would recommend it!

Stayed overnight here in Malta. The room is descent and the bathroom and toilet are cleaned. For a budget stay, I would recommend anyone. Nice hotel!

The hotel is old. Service and food — good.

Had a pleasant week here. Very close to the bus stops for Valletta and other places around this magnificent holiday destination. There are some really nice restaurants along the shore opposite the hotel. Try out the 2 for 1 cocktails as the sun goes down. Breakfast in the hotel was very good and the staff is under pressure to keep the tables clear and reset them for the next customer. We did not eat main meals in the hotel. The room was large and very warm in the afternoon as we were on the 3rd floor at the back of the hotel facing into a yard. It would have been nice to have a sea view but this was an extra upgrade. Would go back but go for a sea view this time.

A lovely hotel with an awesome buffet breakfast. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice out door pool just across the rad.

The hotel is a bit of a decline. The rooms are clean and have a free gym and sauna, swimming pool. Breakfast monotonous with a few choices, although everything is fresh.
But the view of the sea is worth it.

It claims to be a 4* business hotel but it’s barely 3*. We were served complimentary drinks upon arrival — you might think that’s lovely (and so did we at the time), but our glasses had lipstick marks on them. The air con was blowing warm air despite the settings we chose, the room has definitely seen better days. We wanted to play mini golf (very pathetic 9holes, we could see it from our room and it was empty, and had been for hours), so we had gone to enquiry and the man at the reception told us “oh it’s very popular and currently fully booked, have you made a reservation? (We hadn’t) well then you must come back in an hour, it may be free” … we walked up to the mini golf area and it was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Also, the food at the restaurant is a complete ripoff. Don’t waste your money, you’ll have better quality and cheaper food out on the strip there are plenty of restaurants. Just don’t bother. Don’t waste your money.

We are staying at the preluna now. We booked a sea view but were allocated a room with no sea view, in fact a bad view and the desk said the hotel was full. There are signs in the hotel encouraging you to pay for an upgrade, so it is clearly a trick to get package tour people to pay more money. My wife is disappointed. It's left us with a bad impression when the other services are good. Pity.

Nice clean hotel. Excellent breakfast spread. I didn't get to use the salt water pool in the Mediterranean Sea though I'm sure it would have been lovely.

Very nice hotel. I got a sea view room and it was very impressive. Plenty of facilities here, the gym and pool were good for me as the weather wasn't great during my stay. I would recommend and would definitely stay again. I got a good deal from one of the hotel booking websites so I'm not sure if I would pay the normal rate, but it is a very nice hotel in an excellent location.

Great hotel in a great location… Always upgrade to a sea view you will not be disappointed.

It was a very nice hotel. Only flaws some smells coming from the restaurants below that you could hear in the hallways of the rooms.

Unfortunately, our disappointment started already when we entered our room. The room was very dirty and gloomy. I was with two friends in a quad room and would have liked that our room had at least one window to air through. Especially because the bathroom ventilation only worked very conditionally… Daylight was unfortunately not an issue in our windowless room either.
However, the most annoying things to me were not the circumstances in the room, but the appearance of the hotel staff/hotel management. Friendliness or understanding (for young people) seems to be a foreign word there.

The hotel has the best years already behind it. In detail, it looks at least afterwards. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very nice. My mother in law staying for 2 months. Joined her twice for evening meal. Enjoyed the food. Don't do sweet white wine which did surprise me.

Great location. Rooms good size but dated. The hotel has a very odd layout, and when you leave the indoor pool you have to walk dripping through the spa reception, and up a flight of steps to get to the changing rooms. They also allow young kids in the spa, and people to walk around the pool area in their outdoor shoes meaning the area around the pool is filthy. Staff friendly.

Not bad, but something old and sloppy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and spa very good! Quality price not bad. Full and rich breakfast. Although I saw a cockroach at breakfast…

In November 2017 I was at the hotel Preluna.
Had a sea view room for Maltese conditions very good. Clean and tidy.

Great service at the reception pity the little care of the details in the rooms and in the spa.

The location is perfect and two bus stations are next to the hotel. The breakfast is ok. The swimming pool is too small.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel is Coŕresto. We stayed three nights and again one. The situation is good, comfortable. Now the service you offer inside the hotel where you can buy some tour, or hire some service, beware of. We rented a motorbike scuter of 125cc and everything well until when returning it, the boy started being friendly, for little by little, every time understood less Spanish. And clear and logical, wanted and finally managed to swindle us, little because they were 50 euros, but scam that as is logicostumbre here from Spain and I will not claim. So watch out for the condition of the bike that charge you the repair of the rear viewers of the bike that were subject with insulating tape.

Although not really brand is kept in excellent condition. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The sea view terraces are an added value for a romantic evening or a splendid awakening. There is also a gym and a spa in the hotel. Private access to the sea with a swimming pool in the sea for the little ones. The breakfast is full of everything you could want of great quality. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Good hotel in Malta, with a good movement of travelers, complete in services. Breakfast, lunch and dinner do not offer however much you can expect.
After 5 days, I seem to always eat the same things. Very spacious and equipped, clean and efficient, and with friendly and helpful staff. I had been there 10 years ago, but now it is very, much improved if breakfast, lunch and dinner Migliorsssero a little:, it would be perfect.

The Preluna has a good price — quality balance. The food is excellent. Good quality, and the buffet has lots of choices. The staff is very friendly and allways willing to help in any possible way. The view from the top floor over Malta is magnificent. The rooms are not the most modern ones, but everything is good and clean. The hotel is not suited for children, and most of the public is somewhat older. Certainly worth staying here.

Very well located, staff at your service, the next door (swimming Pool Hamman…) are on top, room and bedding a little run down. But we stay there very well.

The worst four star hotel I've ever seen.

Nice view. But never ever an four star hotel. Look the pictures an judge by yourself. The breakfast experience you can easily having, opening the cheapest prepackaged food you can find. Not even a real coffee machine. No commodities in the room. The TV has most channels not working. For what it offers it's way overpriced.

This is a great hotel. I've given it five stars — not because it's a "five star" hotel (traditional hotel ratings etc…) but because what it offers is well maintained, very clean, and the service is fantastic. Gym, spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, room service, good food, brilliant views, staff are really friendly… Brilliant.

Not five stars. Helpful and kind staff but not a five star hotel. Four at the most.

This hotel and spa is perfectly located on Tower Road, Sliema. It is good for bus travel around Malta and for easy access to shopping, bars and restaurants. The sea view rooms in the towers block have excellent views and decent facilitie. The housekeeping though can be a bit hit and miss and we had to phone somedays to get the room serviced. The spa facilities and roof terrace are very good as is the beach club across the tower road. The bar service in the piazza bar was excellent and apart from a couple of occasions the reception was good. Breakfast if taken in the Venus room was quite good and the ambience in there was also good. However all of the above is let down by the performance in the Triton restaurant at dinner. The table service is very inconsistant (not enough staff for sure) and worst of all the food choice is poor and inconsistant in quality. It can range from adequate at best to inedible and this did to some extent spoil our holiday there. I would go again but only on a B&B basis not HB or all inclusive. However as usual Malta was very good.

The food is lovely, very pleased with this, but the price we paid for the holiday, we hoped for a better view out of our room, entertainment very good, pity on our first day we got approach by a man in a trilby, to go back into the hotel to see people who want to hard sell you something you don't want, which we told them this in the first place, but went along with it and politely turned it down, did some research on line and the view's wasn't good, so do something about it, 7416

Great location and excellent staff. However the rooms themselves were very basic and need an urgent update. Unfortunately our room stank of smoke when we first got there. Looking at the doors to the rooms on our floor, only a handful were non-smoking rooms, so this may cause an issue for people staying here. The hotel facilities we're good with both indoor and outdoor pools, an excellent Japanese restaurant and a nice rooftop bar. However if I was to return to Malta, I would not stay in the Preluna hotel and spa again.

I came from 01 to 08 August and they were doing the work of the spa, the Jacuzzi and the gym in full season from July 28th to August 7th! So on the morning of August 07 I went to see if it had finished. No, and then I went into the gym because it was already finished and the M. Told me that you had to be in sports outfit… So do not drink in the MACHINE a! There's rust in it! And you do not know since when there is the the or the coffee… In the evening, during the meal, for example we are on three, one is finished and waits for the other 2, the waiters will take the plate before the nose! 's.

Swimming pool and gym in renovation in the month of August… otherwise very good hotel.

For years I have been attending this hotel that combines economy, services and quality. Free Wi-Fi, free SPA with swimming pool and whirlpool, free gym, intercontinental breakfast.
Beds with newly changed mattresses. Beautiful sea view. The superior rooms are preferred. Obligatory sea view, true added value.
13th Floor with lounge bar and daily entertainment.
Bus stop in front. Taxi stop in front. Restaurants everywhere, very good Japanese interior SAKURA.

Poor soundproofing, rough cleaning, quality of food and professionalism of the variable staff. Lack of water activities during our holiday week.

Free use of pool, sauna and steam — good location Stayed in the hotel for couple of nights, nice hotel and very calm. Really enjoyed using the pool, sauna, and steam room. Nadine the guest relation manager was really nice. The area is busy but really nice and got excellent transport to everywhere in Malta. Shopping is close and the valleta ferry is 5min walk.

My son and I had a fantastic stay in a superior room with sea view. We ask for an elevated floor and we got it, the view was outstanding. Extremely polite and helpful staff. You can't beat the location, very good communication, buses taxis etc… on doorsteps. The room was huge and clean. The two restaurant attached to the hotel were elegant and well catered. (One Italian and a great Japanese) Did not care very much for the breakfast canteen style, so we went across the road by the sea… Magic! Great location to explore Malta from or to simply have a good rest. The hotel is a 60's hotel, and in part it dates a bit, but we had a fantastic time there and will certainly go back.

Experience unfortunately negative all Hotel Preluna of Malta. Despite booking months earlier when we arrived on August 4 of our room was not available, but the worst thing is that they made us sleep in a room that you can't define that. Carpet wet for water leak from a fridge smells like rotten cabbages, a mini window facing the Interior stairs, dirty (cigarette butts on the ground, plastic bottles, caps always toothpicks on carpet etc) we had chosen the hotel because there was the SPA, detail the same was closed for "renovations". The hotel manager to apologize they offered three vouchers for dinner at the hotel and even here nothing great, the food was not great either.
As for the pool area at 100 metres away in so many years I was not ever having to leave the beach chairs at 18 o'clock in the afternoon because they had to begin to close the umbrellas and arrange the deck chairs …
In conclusion I at PRELUNA ain't going back for sure.

The gym is very small and dirty a lot of things are missing for a good workout. The machines are very old and bad. The changeing room is small and doesn't have A. C. In the summer time 45 degrees inside. i can not recommend to anyone. From this membership price you have much better options.

Wi-Fi is terrible! I don't recommend summer season, because too much expensive.

My sister nephew and I will be staying at this hotel in July this year for the tenth year running. The staff are excellent and this includes room service to Triton restaurant. There is a vast variety of lovely food to choose from and caters for all tastes. The location of the hotel is incomparable. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Janice Rogers.

The only reason its getting two stars is for its location. 1. The food at this place is horrible, be ready to eat things that are mostly out of a can. SO NOT vegetarian friendly! There are not many options but thank god Mint is 5min walk! 2. Room service lol I called at 7:30pm to get a salad and was told that I had to order it in the morning to have it served at night! Then someone came upstairs to my room, knocked, I was so annoyed I didn't bother answering so the guy decided to use a key to get into my room! Excuse me but what if I was busy with my boyfriend!? You DO NOT just walk into peoples room because they didn't answer the door! 3. Feel good gym thats in the hotel, all the equipment is rusted and I saw bugs crawling on the floors. Ugh! 4. Maid service so under par! there are cigarette ashes on the floor, they haven't mopped the room at all. I'm here on business, getting my maltese residency and setting up the corporate office. Trust me I WILL NEVER let any of my associates and/or investors stay in this hotel! I travel the world 8 months a year so I am well aware of standards and this is by far one of the biggest disappointments. I don't usually post about my experiences but I thought that people should really know.

Lovely hotel with great stuff. I highly recommend it.

Its 4 stars is not value, no more than 3 stars. Staff was rude, the hotel management urged the guest complaints! The food was generally unkind and drab arranged. The dining room was greasy. If you're lucky, is the prospect of a rear building of the hotel, this was still a construction site. Also, many fans and air conditioners, there were probably. Odors from the room and the kitchen were often present in the room.

At least the basic rooms without sea view are nothing to shout about, but they have all the amenities you would need. The lobby, restaurants and pool area are very nice, an the hotel is in a very good location. Unfortunately the beach club is closed in winter, while at least in November it would be warm enough to use it.

This is a great hotel with friendly staff. It has great sea views and is situated in a great spot between Valetta and St Julians.
