Lovely bed and breakfast in the heart of the 3 cities. Based in Cospicua you will be very close to the 3 cities and the ferry station to Valletta. The hosts, Annett and Michael are very kind and welcoming, always attentive to our needs and giving good advices on places and activities to do. A delicious breakfast, wine, coffee and water are all included. You will have access to the lovely terrace with stunning view of the city. Rooms are very cosy and clean with all the comforts required. The building is enchanting and very well preserved. Definitely a lovely stay that made our trip to Malta a wonderful experience.

Everything was perfect. Location is quiet and peaceful with quick and easy access to Valletta via ferry, but also good local places within walking distance. Room was spacious and well-appointed, with an AC unit that I wish I had in my own home. Annett & Michael are wonderful hosts who were so accommodating in every way. Breakfast comes with your room and you also get some complimentary beverages that are refilled each day. The list of small, unexpected benefits is endless… so much better than a big hotel. We would love to come again and will be recommending them to all our friends.

We absolutely loved our stay at The 3Cities Auberge. Annett and Michael are wonderful hosts and made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we stepped out of the taxi. We actually felt like old friends staying in their beautiful home and they really couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay as good as possible. 3Cities is the best place to be and the Auberge is right in the centre of it. If we go back we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Out of the seven hotels we stayed in during our trip, this was by far the best!
The hosts are absolutely wonderful — from the first moment, it felt like home, full of warmth and care.
The house is a gem — beautifully decorated, full of charming details. Our room was so cozy and lovely, I didn’t want to leave. Everything was spotless and perfectly thought out.
There are two amazing terraces to relax on, delicious homemade breakfasts, and the location is ideal — close to the Valletta ferry, a scenic promenade, and great local spots. I completely fell in love with this place!

Annette and Michael are fantastic hosts, and give you a very warm welcome into their home. They are always on hand to help with advice or answer any questions you may have. Breakfast is personally served by them and is always fresh with locally sourced produce (amazing flavours). Rooms are beautiful with everything you’ll need for your stay. Including complimentary drinks! Very nice touch. I would highly recommend, one of the best places I’ve stayed at in Malta. Plan to return at some point.
Tips for other travellers.
So many things to see and do within this area, including markets, history, beaches etc… also the ferry to Valletta stops a short stroll away so many choices and places to go.
Some very good restaurants nearby but would recommend you try as very personal taste.

This boutique hotel is an absolute delight. The accommodation oozes charm, quality and authenticity in every way. The rooms are tasteful and immaculately designed to reflect Maltese culture and the location is amongst the local housing so one gets a quiet and genuine sense of sharing the real world of Malta not just seeing tourist hotspots. Nothing is too much trouble for Michael and Annette and we had a sense of sharing their home. An oasis of calm and understated good taste: one of the best places we have stayed.

We found the Three Cities Area to be the best place to stay. It is clean, quiet and has the medieval Mediterranean feel we were looking for in Malta.
I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay than The 3Cities Auberge. You enter a magic place that seems to take you back in time, complete with secret spaces and hidden staircases. The rooms are individually styled and luxurious. From the rooftop top terrace you have incredible views of the city.
Annett and Mike the owners really make you feel at home and they are a great source of information about the best places and restaurants to visit.

It’s been over 4 months since our stay and this was hands down the highlight of our trip! Decor of the rooms, lovely outdoor seating options, and bath tub in our room was the perfect getaway. Hosts were amazing and you can tell they enjoy the hospitality industry. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay a little further outside of the city but still have access to amazing food, scenery and a local experience.

If you are planning your trip to Malta, this is the best place to stay in! Very good location, very tasty breakfast, near lots of restaurants.

We stayed for 5 days in Annette's and Michael's guest house and absolutely loved everything about it, the location is good and is close to the ferry which gives you easy access to Valletta, the service provided was exceptional and the rooms are beautiful, if we ever come back to Malta again this is where we will be staying, thankyou for a lovely stay.

Perfect place in a beautiful part of Malta ideal base to explore the island. Michael and Annette are exceptional hosts and very helpful. The hotel is perfect and plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from and Valletta only a short ferry away.

Absolute gem of a place, made our holiday perfect. The hotel is ideally placed just off the beaten track to be quiet enough but close by to restaurants and bars near the harbour. Then there is the ferry to Valletta for shopping, sightseeing and busier nightlife with the ferry running up to midnight. Our hosts Michael and Annette were the best so helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect, breakfast was great and make the most of the terrace in the late afternoon. All in all the best holiday me and the wife have had in years cant recommend enough great place to explore Malta from.

We echo all of the other positive comments made as they are spot-on. Annette and Michael offer an exquisite and authentic experience which immerses you into the unique charm of a medieval Maltese guest house as though you've travelled through time. Attention to every detail and flawless presentation. You will also enjoy the separation between the guest rooms as this enhances both privacy and quiet. Sleep comes easy in the Auberge. Food, complimentary beverages, stunning Grand Harbour views. Deserves a 6th star.
Tips for other travellers.
As everyone has different needs and desires be clear to your hosts as they sincerely wish to assist you in tailoring your stay to your liking. If your stay is short be sure to do your research as there is plenty to do on this relatively small island and many modes of transport including buses, various taxi services and ferries. Off-season car rentals are inexpensive however driving in Malta is to say the least, challenging. Make Gozo a must as it has a charm of its own.

We had an incredible time staying at the 3 cities auberge for a week! The bedrooms, communal areas and outdoor areas are stunning as can be seen on the pictures.
It is located in the heart of the historic centre, opposite Valletta and offers the real historic Maltese experience.
It is only a short bus trip away from Valletta Centre (about 15 mins) or 10 mins by ferry. Both ferry and bus stations are 1-2 mins away from the auberge.
You can also enjoy lots of nice restaurants in the harbour, again only a short walk away.
Annett and Michael are so nice and friendly and very dedicated to their guests.

Well what can I say that hasn't already been said.
My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of spending a week with Michael & Annett, two of the most beautiful people you could ever wish to meet. They are so kind and attentive, warm, friendly, witty,,, etc I could go on. They both have excellent local knowledge and can recommend places of interest as well as some fine restaurants two of which we dined in are Enchante and Del Borgo both (SUPBERB).
Michael can turn his hand to anything, & has done so, plumbing, carpentry electrical,,, (and making the best coffee). Annett prepares the most tasty, healthy and visually appealing breakfast, (and if you're lucky enough dinner) you could wish to eat, if only I could award a Michelin star.
"The three cities Auberge" is a wonderful quaint boutique hotel you will thoroughly enjoy staying in. The detail, quality, workmanship & effort Annett and Michael have invested in the restoration is outstanding.

We visited for a long weekend to celebrate an anniversary and couldn’t have been happier spending it at 3cities. The house is beautifully renovated and gives an authentic experience along with very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The owners and hosts Annett and Michael helped make our stay even more special with their welcoming, attentiveness, recommendations and super tasty and varied breakfast! They truly went above and beyond and we wish we could have stayed longer! The location is great to experience the local way of life with an easy trip on the bus or ferry across to Valletta itself. Overall a wonderful stay and well worthy of all the 5 star ratings and more!
