Lovely resort with the friendliest staff! Easy and fast connection from Male airport. Beautiful nature and lots of wildlife. Price point is slightly on the higher side compared to current all-in packages offered by peers, but cannot fault the resort for anything else.

We arrived yesterday 8/11/21 after having missed our connecting flight and found that the travel rep who was not ours was so helpful in contacting Hummingbird who was on a departure. Well looked after at the airport and advised our our boat would be 15 mins in arriving. Once the boat arrived we
were taken and a bouncy trip across the ocean ensued. Loved every second of it, given cold towels and water, just what you need after a long day travelling. On arrival we were met by 3 members of the team and to be honest treated so well you feel so special. We were introduced to Vishan who is looking after us and making arrangements for us so again no stress. He very knowledgeable about the island, where to go and when so we have no worries. The staff are all amazing, so friendly and chatty. The room is to die for! Well positioned, beautifully furnished and overlooking nothing! This is only technically day 2 and love Baros.

Just absolutely perfect resort, ideal for couples and adult persons, who need calm and very warm friendly atmosphere in a very beautiful private island. High level cuisine and good service everyone will definitely appreciate. Baros located in a short distance from Male, that allows in a quick time to get to these paradise. Be sure you will get 5* level resort with one of the most beautiful beach and most rich reef in Maldives. And what was the wine card?! I was impressed! thank you for you hospitality and warm welcome.

A lifetime experience. It was an absolute pleasure to wake up in the morning with the private pool and sea view sea 🌊. Room service was instant. Very friendly staff. The serenity spa was blissful 😇😇😇 and the Maldivian cuisine was yummy 😋. I highly recommend Baros Maldives for an ideal Maldivian holiday. Definitely going back to Baros Maldives 😎😎🏝🏝

This is a very luxury and private villa island, if you like silence, this is the best place you should try.

We just finished a 5 day stay at Baros just as they were reopening from covid closures in around the World. We booked the overwater villa with a pool. From the moment we stepped off the plane the experience and service was outstanding. They took care of our bags, led us to a waiting boat for transport and delivered us to the island. Our villa host, Azzam, was great. He handled our every request with ease. We wanted to snorkel on the beach one day and instead of just pointing us to a beach area he arranged for us to use an unoccupied beach villa, set out water and towels and really showed what sets Baros apart. The food at all restaurants was top notch. There was nothing we tried that we didn’t like. The Sails Bar is a great place to drink among the palm trees. We loved our trip to Maldives and Baros. We would have stayed another week if we could. We are definitely going to make a trip back at some point. Baros is worth every penny and you should not hesitate to stay here. I’ve stayed at other 5 star resorts like Four Seasons and Mandarin Orientals and this resort is in that same league. Can’t wait to go back!

My friend & I have always wanted to stay in an over-the-water bungalow in the Maldives. We chose Baros as the resort for our dream and we were blown away by their island, accommodating/friendly staff, food, and available activities/excursions! We were impressed from the moment we were picked up from the airport, greeted with waters & cool, spa-scented towels. Upon island arrival, we were greeted by multiple staff & champagne. We were treated like queens the entire time we were there, and we were only there for 2 days and 1 night! Our villa host was beyond accommodating and kind. He gave us a tour of both the island and our bungalow, while making sure we knew everything we would need to know in regards to room service, contacting him if we needed anything, and where/when meals were. The best part was that he arranged for us to stay in another villa after our bungalow check-out at noon the next day free of charge since we wanted to be able to enjoy the island until our 8:30 PM departure for the airport! We had massages at the island spa while we were there and the experience was amazing! The complimentary snorkeling was the best out of the 4 times we snorkeled that week! Baros' coral reefs & marine life is beautiful & abundant! Overall, this resort island was top-notch and I plan on returning again someday. Our only regret was not staying more nights there! We felt that Baros truly wanted our experience to be memorable and it was.

From the time we were picked up at the Airport in Male it had been one of the best arrivals we have experienced. No check at Reception just a warm and friendly welcome to the island with a glass of Champagne. Check in paperwork done in our room. Azzam is looking after us perfectly. Perfect view from our villa. Extremely comfortable bed (thinking of bringing home), food is amazing (could do with a bit more light at the table as you cannot always see what you are eating). Drinks are a little expensive. Apart from that it is paradise.

Baros is a truly magical resort. It you like peace and relaxation, great food, incredible service and heaps of big marine life on your doorstep then baros is your resort. We’ve never repeated a Maldives island yet (done 8! ) but we’re going back soon! I think that says it all.

Very nice resort for vacation. It is also very safe for snorkeling. The best resort to stay with your family for vacation. I plan to visit Baros again next year…

This is my families 16th year on Baros and it never fails to delight. It really is like coming “home” every year! Welcoming and thoughtful staff who are always willing to go the extra mile!

So far so good. Food excellent and snorkelling great corals for fish and turtles.

A wonderful resort with first rate snorkeling and diving straight off the beach. Friendly sharks and multicoloured coral and sea life.
A range of highly quality restaurants and excellent beach and room service. Every member of the team are kind, helpful and constantly quietly professional with a special mention for Zoro who was our own Guardian Angel.
The extremely professional and knowledgable marine team make it so easy to enjoy the reef.

Incredible experience from arrival to departure! We had the most wonderful time at Baros. Our over-water pool villa was pure perfection. The service from the entire team — especially our villa host Azzam — was outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious. The views? Like nowhere else on the planet. There's only one thing I'd change about our time at Baros — it wasn't long enough! Next time, we'll stay for longer. :) Many thanks to Azzam and the Baros team! If I could give you six stars, I would!

This island and the resort on it are simply fantastic. We spent some time ago, after a Sri Lanka RR here unfortunately only 6 nights. We lived in a double bungalow on the west side of the island. After a few meters we reached "our" small private beach. From here we could get into water for swimming and snorkeling. Baros has a great reef, with a steeply sloping reef edge. Here you can also fish larger while snorkeling. Fantastic!

Amazing place to go if you can. My family has been 3 times and baros is the dream destination. Could not speak highly enough about them with amazing opportunities and people! Definitely a place to put on your bucket list.

I’ve travelled everywhere and stayed in some of the world’s best resorts… Baros might top them all! The combination of location, the villas, amazing food, and the super friendly and welcoming staff make it an incredible place to stay. My host, Asim, exceeded all expectations and made me feel as though I wasn’t alone, despite being a solo traveler in a honeymooners paradise. Truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I'm staying on Baros Maldives right now with my husband for our wedding anniversary. It's the last day of our holidays. I decided to write a comment because I was touched by a solicitous service of Baros. Baros is not only a just romantic island, but also a well supervised and staffed place. They provide delicious food, especially a breakfast is wonderful, many staffs are very kind, and villas are remodeled. House reef is still well-preserved and I could see their effort to save corals. Sea walls can be a worry when people choose a resort but I still give Baros high marks with a good underwater condition and thoughtful service.

5 star in every way. Staff, food, rooms, activities, and transportation are exceptional. So easy to get to from main airport via a quick luxury boat ride. Worth traveling half way around the world to visit anytime. Chilli and the staff are amazing.

Extremely exclusive island, very suitable for luxury-accustomed. Impeccable service from top-trained staff, excellent and award-winning cuisine, exquisite beverage menu and superbly decorated rooms in all categories. The hotel offers a relaxing spa and a modern equipped gym. The water Sports Centre with diving Center, Katemerans, SUPs, kayaks and marine biologists not only convinces; It inspires! A hotel of superlatives! Which is understandably reflected in the prices. You should budget a few dollars for a stay on Baros.

An exceptional stay. The staff is in the small care for us. The restaurants are very good level. The Lighthouse is worthy of a gourmet restaurant. The diving team is very friendly. A beautiful discovery. I would recommend breakfast on sand bench.

Amazing room with a private pool on the beach, great buffet breakfast and beautiful, relaxing spa with a variety of soothing and therapeutic treatments. We snorkeled at night and also during the day and saw reef sharks, octopus and amazing reef fish. Small gift shop and various off and on island activities or a perfect place to lay in a hammock, read, sleep and listen to the waves. There are various birds and flying foxes, as well as dolphins to welcome you to your home away from home!

AMAZING! The resort and staff exceeded our expectations. We were waited on hand and foot, they not only met all our requests but anticipated extras that they knew we would love without us even asking. We had our wedding on sight and their attention to every little detail was second to none, including the incredible photographer. The food was awesome and being celiac they went above and beyond for my dietary needs, even having the chef meet me at every meal and catering my dishes speciafically for me. We would also recommend the private sandbank dinner… it was worth every penny! Having stayed at many of the worlds best resorts, this resort will be hard to beat and can surpass others on every level. We would highly recommend this to anyone.

Best resort and holiday I have ever had. I am not a beach holiday person as prefer much more active holidays but it was our honeymoon and it didn't disappoint. The staff are fantastic — every single element was perfect. Will be going back one day for sure!

Baros Maldives is a ruby in the Indian Ocean. The pristine waters of the Indian Ocean shimmer around this isle which is famous for its five star luxury accommodation. It has won awards for its graceful luxury and paradise-like sensation here. It has inevitably become one of the top five Maldivian luxury resorts as an experience here shall be an inexplicably remarkable one that would never leave your mind. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy the gorgeous private gardens while sipping your morning coffee? Or if you would like to work out, then welcome to the fitness centre.

Peaceful relaxing beautiful island. Food and dinning experiences first class. All the Staff are friendly and very helpful. I would like to especially thank our villa host Najah and Joseph the island medic for looking after my wife after her small altercation with the sun bed (entirely her fault). If you enjoy snorkeling the reef will definitely not disappoint. Our beach villa was wonderful and our water villa fantastic. Can't wait to come back.

Service here was Excellent, Airport staffs are welcoming and friendly, (Affan) It's a great pleasure working with Baros and receive the amazing services from the staffs of the Resort, It's an amazing place with just a few minute ride from Airport, Baros speed boat is comfortable and crews are friendly, The landscapes and scenes of the island is perfect for Photoshoots; It's a small paradise in Male Atoll, Recommend the place for anyone visiting Maldives for Honeymoon, With your own camera or hiring a Professional Photographer,

Service was absolutely excellent. Went here on my honeymoon. The water villa we got was stunning. We had our own infinity pool overlooking the ocean and total privacy. We barely saw any other people on the island. The diving center (especially Charlie) was amazing. Lisa was incredible as well. She constantly checked on us to make sure everything was ok. There are certainly cheaper resorts but I doubt there are many better. I would strongly encourage anyone to visit Baros. You won't regret it. It's a slice of paradise on earth.

Baros has gorgeous beaches and reef, luxurious villas, lush gardens, varied and delicious food, a knowledgeable, helpful staff. When I had a medical emergency, the fine island doctor and our wonderful villa host, Gulguna, took extraordinary care of me.
