I am writing this review while sitting at the bar in this absolutely stunning and beautiful resort! It has exceeded our expectations so far, although these were high already. Everybody is super friendly and helpful, the food is amazing and the villas one of a kind. Pure luxury and relaxation from the first second you step foot on this beautiful small and paradise like island. The view from your terrace on the beach is breathtaking! Absolutely recommend! We are enjoying our honeymoon to the fullest and can already say that we will come back!

Amazing, both resorts, the Banyan Tree and Angsana Ihuru. The laid back vibe, the amazing hospitality, the food, the people, the weather, the water, and the pristine white sand beaches. This has been 5 stars from the time we set foot on Angsana Ihuru.

Picturesque paradise island with warm, genuinely friendly and amazing staff that take extra efforts to accomodate your request. Perfect villa setting with your private beach to enjoy with tranquility. White sandy natural beach is great to walk barefoot. The resort put alot of effort for sustainability such as no use of plastic, use of natural material villa and biodegradable toiletries. Food and drinks are tasty and generous quantity. Spa is very nice. Sunrise and sunset is the moment to capture perfect insta photo. Sunset bar is place to be to enjoy sunset with drinks, games and book to enjoy. Abundance of marine life and sting rays feeding is a plus. We enjoy snorkelling and diving here very much. Plenty of water activities and our stay during Christmas and New Year was made extra memorable with many activities and gifts to bring home. They put extra safety measure during the pandemic to ensure safe stay. Truely recommend Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru to anyone going to Maldives. Thank you for making our stay amazing!

Paradise island, quiet peaceful magical, staff are so friendly, amazing service from Adam the waiter at the resturant who prepared everything for us before we arrive to our meals and the delicious food with lots of regards to chef Micheal for amazing menu every meal of every day. We stayed there for 1 week like a beautiful dream.

The most I like is the staff. Every guy is friendly and is wanting to offer his best services. At the reception Wahid was friendly, Nazim & Moosa in the restaurant and Prashant, the chef, always checking with us on food quality and serving new dishes to our liking. If there was any drawback, the employees have compensated big time.

Where can I start :) as a returning guest to banyan tree the staff are always very welcoming. The buffet amazes me, fresh cooked food everyday. I had one of the best times snorkelling around the island seeing lots of incredible marine life, they even have a feeding time for their wild stingrays. Highly recommend banyan tree & definitely will be returning.

This place was a GOAL!. Was a real paradise, this is the our second visit! The staff was so kind and helpful with everything, we really felt like home. I have no words, everything was amazing.!

We arrive to the hotel with a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Had a perfectly cleaned room with a outstanding view of the beach… Kids love the pool and jacuzzi in the room… Food were mouthwatering delicious… Wish could stay long… Would recommend this beautiful resort…

Pure luxury! Couldn’t fault anything with the stay, amazing staff and relaxing atmosphere. The island is only a 25 minute boat ride from Male (airport) which is ideal. The food was delicious, each dinner is a different theme, so we had a range of dishes from classic steak to Thai style noodles. The little touches made the stay even more perfect, we had decorations at dinner and bed decorations with a personalised sarong to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, couldn’t have asked for more. Truly magical stay on an undeniably beautiful island!

This resort is paradise. They have good staff, very helpful! The therapists at the spa are amazing!
It’s a shame they don’t have a doctor! Our child was sick an we had to go to Male hospital, with a boat, this was not a nice experience. Good food (although they don’t have a big menu), I appreciated the live music at the bar.

The three of us spent a fantastic holiday at the Banyan Tree. Everything was perfect. The island is peaceful and relaxing, a paradise. Amazing yoga sessions with Harish. Nafij and Lamir were very polite with us too, all of them were very nice. The service is fantastic. Top experience, number one holiday for us.

Amazing place for relaxation and honeymooners. Also good for small families but with less activities. The main problem is the transportation. If you fell like visiting other islands or want to go to Malé it's very expensive. One person will cost 70$ two ways to Malè and back to resort but this is the main theme of maldives (expansiveness)

Ihuru's twin island, 6-10 minutes by boat. The area of the island is larger than the Ihuru, but the house price density is also bigger. There was a large white sandy beach, but the distance from the room to the sea increased. In general snorkeling, diving environment is not as good as Ihuru and convenient. But the facilities are better. Like a daze can be considered. Like the water or to Ihuru better. Banyan tree in the island along the left side of the direction tomorrow, Coral basic death, leaving the white sand beach and bare seabed coral debris. Right side protection is not bad.

Hotel fully corresponds to its name… nice Villa. Complete relaxation… good service and restaurants. Entertainment+everything =the daily opportunity to feed the stingrays. Or to swim to the neighboring island of Angsana… there is absolutely unique coral reef. Carefully cultivated for more than 15 years… until recently, these trips were free…

Just back from this beautiful place. Cannot fault the fantastic staff & team, all so helpful, respectful and eager to meet your every need! From the welcome on the jetty the minute we arrived, to the farewell party waving us off when we left. The food, accommodation, staff, beautiful setting and attention to every detail made this holiday one we will treasure forever! We will miss it so much! Thank you for everything.

The most amazing place on earth! We stayed 4 days and 3 nights. Services and amenities second to none. The atmosphere among the staff is cheerful and friendly but extremely professional. The resort itself is a natural wonder. Nested on a small island well engineered and laid out. The villas are shaped like a sea shell and are comfortable and relaxing. Food was just marvelous. Snorkeling, boating, natural wild life and sea turtle conservation area are some of the many things to do and see.

The hotel staff is always there to provide you with the best! The natural beauty of the island along with the impeccable hospitality makes Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru a perfect holiday destination. General Manager Mr. Axel and his team have been very warm. I would like to esp appreciate the efforts taken by Chef Ben to give us the best options with vegetarian preferences. Would highly recommend this property for a relaxed vacation!

Went for my honeymoon here. Back home and we miss the place badly. It was a paradise, with many surprises. The peace, hospitality and definitely the FOOD… takes the breath away. The spa, the restaurant, the dive center are worth pointing out. Too much to talk of the place, would definitely recommend this place for anyone who want "peace away from busy life" "looking for romantic getaway" "enjoy sealife and food".

No words to express the experience but all was awesome start from Airport pick up in a speed boat to the 2 night stay at the resort and back at Airport. The shark feeding and turtle raising by resort was highlight. Once in lifetime experience once must have. Courteous staff. A little less options for vegetarians as being a Iceland way far from farming land but if informed in advance to the staff you will be well taken care of. A never forgettable experience.

Great for escapes, the staff is very friendly and helpful (Visam is a great guy), food is either good or average, it s not awesome for such a place. Villas are great with your own private small pool and jaccuzi, the beach is very relaxing, though I was expecting more for the reef (we still encountered sharks, turtle and stingray). When they knew we were celebrating a birthday they made all their best to make it special.

Probably the best resort in Maldives! Please book with full board inclusive! When we first reached, the hosts at the reception will greet you by your name and they will serve you a welcome drink and a cold towel for you to freshen up! Food was really good, menus are different each day for lunch and dinner, quality is there! In fact, I went there twice and the staff there could remember me! Feels like a 2nd home when you're there. If you're looking for luxurious, out-of-this-world amenities, there's none here. What they have here are sincere and genuine staff that takes care of you and making sure you are enjoying yourself to the fullest! Feels like you're part of a family!

The people on the island are very warm, a family outing with the baby, so there's not much snorkeling a little regret.
