This is our second visit to the island after 8 years lap. Although it a bit rundown but among other resorts there, Sari Pacifica always be our choice as it quite and cozy, Staffs are friendly and helpful.
All they need to do is pay attention to minor in cleaning up as it will bring a big impact to the eyes of your guests.

Nice island tour, clean water.

A resort with a great location in a small charming island, good food can be adapted to the taste of the palate with the Italian, you're always a view of the sea while you eat, small in size, but to measure d’ man to spend a holiday of relaxation to those who like the sea for divers and beach lovers.

Blue lagoon waters. Friendly staff. Chilled out. I would buy land here.

Tq for the special accomodation. Feels like honeymoon… Receptionist TiNa.

Spend the last 5 nights there and it’s such an amazing place and resort! The staff and the manger are awesome! We felt like home in this little Paradies! The rooms are perfect and clean, not new but really comfortable! As well the beach bar with Allan!
Last but not least, Daria just did an amazing job teaching us diving at the best place! Thanks for that!
We definitely be back one day!

Disaster, rats smell and cockroach in toilets. Bad Services
A holiday package for 4Days 3 Night package from agent claim from agent, was a promising said best 4 star hotels. Our expectations are not high. And we have awful experience with the resorts:-
1) Rooms are large but very stuffy and bed with stains. The Toilet was sting with smells.
2) The food we ate their is flies inside the food.
3) Called the resort management spoken with phone one of the staffs promise to cha…nge upgrade rooms. The staff told us got approval from their management office general manager, we expected for rooms change but it was all lying. They are cheater who does good con and ripe off our money. After that they give you full of excuses.
We have to tolerate the dirt inside the room and wasn’t make up in proper when we complaint.
4) The switch are broken we have family children they almost play with it so dangerous.
5) The nicest is the swimming pool view but the waters is awful.
6) We have experience bed bugs.
Staying here is equal staying like hell, I manage to book the neighbor resort a 3 star but much better quality service then them, workers in here was told their bosses withheld their salaries like 3 months, poor thing.
My conclusions don’t waste your money in this place book some others better place. Better think twice before you book. Else you will regret…

Terrible customer service, terrible room condition (broken furniture, fittings, etc. ), dirty floor and dirty toilet (hair everywhere). It is freaking expensive for its service offered. Beautiful beach tho, there are 2 other resorts on the island. Go for those. It is walking distance.

Structure that lacks maintenance and cleanliness. Available staff but structure with behind a kind of landfill where they burn the chandelier waste with cobwebs in the restaurant area. Inadequate price quality.

Spent a night there and am glad it was only 24 hours. We got 2 rooms, 1 with pool view. The island were great, however the room facilities and front desk attitude were terrible. Both rooms were shared with flies roughly 8 of them that refused to leave the room. You would imagine the staff would clear the room from these pest prior to letting guest in. There was a 10cm gecko in 1 of the room, the staff were called and he chased the gecko in the cupboard and told us that gecko has left the room. There was blood stain on 1 of the bed sheet, looks like a mosquito was killed there previously. Both the sinks and the floor trap was filled with hair and dirt from previous guest. Obviously they didnt even bother to clean it. The aircond of 1 of the room was leaking, which resulted in a moldy wall (both rooms) and coffee table, a spoiled phone that drown on the table. There was an individual pump connected to each room, however, the design wasn't done properly which result in uneven water pressure (imagine struggling with the water heater). The pool view room came with a sliding glass framed door that was playing tug of war when you tried to open it. The handle and some of the wooden door frame was semi damaged by people trying to open it. The lock of the door was semi spoiled, had to dig the locking mechanism out from the hole as I turn the key every time I wanted to lock the door. you would guess they would have lubricate it and kept it maintained but no.

Very good location, calm beach with rich corals and marine wild life. Resort offers good food options, friendly staff and one can enjoy snorkeling and diving.

Things at d resort r getting old, maybe it was meant for luxury holiday retreats once. Beautiful beaches n scenery, nice walking track link to other resorts. The place is less congested as compared to others… amber space, nice beach chairs with a lots of shades. This deserve a, &!

Average price, poor food, poor Wi-Fi connection, friendly staff, nice beach. Overall a pleasant trip.

It was a pleasant stay. Beach is very nice, fishes swimming around as u swim, clear water, reef reservation area, blue plankton, good food, attentive n caring staff especially the resort manager, mr. Jon Koh. However, the room need upgrade especially the toilet, furniture, electrical fittings. Water pressure is good, pool is clean, trees and infra is well taken care the place has a lot of potential if the management takes serious effort to upgrade the rooms n promote.

The room needs decoration equipment Good old is not worth rm500 above check-in when air conditioning is bad room taste hair dark.

Yes the resort have seen better days but the staff was friendly and they keep the old resort as clean as they can. The beach in front of this resort has a great view, white powder sand. Walkable to other parts of island through zinc door at back of resort. Try Warung Dewati if youre tired of resort food. The price for this resort may be steep for what the room offers but it is the cheaper ones on island. RM580+ for 2 nights excluding RM160 two way boat ride. Make sure you get boat from the right Merang Jetty because there’s a few.

Peaceful and lovely beach.

Completely out of expectation. They need to do a lot of maintenance for the resort.

Experience of food is awesome. Building is run down… Rodent problems is rampant…

Boring and no activity during night time.

The location is to die for, and all the staff throughout the resort are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is quite nice but often there are items/dishes "not available" (to be expected on a remote island). The budget rooms are, on balance, a little overpriced for the standard — the beds and bedding are great, but the en suite bathrooms have definitely seen better days. They're spacious and have good AC units, though. The breakfast buffet is adequate. The lunch buffet is great (RM40 per person). The 'beach BBQ' on Saturday nights is overpriced at RM80 per person, though. The beach is maintained spotlessly clean. My only gripe? The resort needs to replace the sign on the beach about 'Marine Park Rules' and take greater efforts to ensure that guests know about these rules (eg. Put info into every room). Too many ignorant guests were wearing fins when snorkelling, walking on the coral reef at low tide, and terrorising the aquatic life — all things that are clearly prohibited.

Crystal clear sea water I front of this resort.

Very disappointing coinsidering the reviews. Location is 5 star and the beach is beautiful. On arrival the front office staff member was rude (one guy only). On two occasions he very rudely said 'why didn't you tell me earlier' when they hadn't put enough water in the room. He was very rude. Rooms were 2 star at best. TV ariels but no TV. Gecko poo in the bathroom. Not enough towels or water considering we were paying for every person. Restaurant food tasted ok but service was poor. Bathroom door wouldn't close. No safe although every other room had them. Then they bought me one with a dead battery. Loved the location, would not ever go back to this hotel. Very expensive for what it is.

Very recommended for those who need calmness with beautiful scenery.

Nice place and beach. Hotel with many Chinese groups. Very noisy. Food very simple and often similar. Price — performance is not true.

Over priced. Actual room very doggy than pictures. Bathroom very dirty, room very smelly. Does not worth the price at all. 5 star price but 1 start room category. My first time and completely upset.

After check in, I have to walk from my room to front office, just to tell them that toilet door been locked. Later, I have to walk again to ask them for laundry bag, which they gave me a broken one even after I asked for a new one. TV, only have one channel. When I asked staff who pass by my room, he asked me to walk to front office again and ask about it to the staff. After swimming at their beach, there is no public shower, that can be use after we came back from saltwater. Some of the staffs are good and friendly, but dealing with lower level staff could gave u a headache. Food: resort price list. Expensive for people like me. Simple Heaven on earth
I loved the place, staff, food, and every thing.

Extremely old structure, never renovated, with absolutely unsatisfactory value for money. We took the villa with garden but the interior was old with chipped furniture and sinks. Wi-Fi connection is non-existent. Friendly staff. Hotel restaurant inadequate for both breakfast and other main meals.

I stayed there for 5 days in August 2015 and found the village in a very bad state, the kitchen was of low quality and with very little choice (fortunately in an abandoned village there was a nice little restaurant still in business), many activities, like Beach grill restaurant, were closed and lacks maintenance in many lodges. However the island is fantastic and if you do not want to be surrounded by hordes of Chinese land over and over again, is a fantastic place to seek relaxation and a great sea. On the other side of the island, not mentioned anywhere, there is a group of volunteers who care for turtle nests.

Amazing resort and beach. There's a lot of coral just in front of the hotel where you can do snorkeling. The hotel it's nice and food just OK. You can only eat in the hotel, nothing else around. Good place to be 3 or 4 days. We got a island hopping tour and the snorkeling where they bring us was amazing. Just one hotel more in the island, but difficult to reach.

Truly natural… perfect honeymoon spot.
