Clean, new, comfortable rooms. No staff on site but that probably contributes to lower rates. Good deal.

What a wonderful place to stay when you come to Ipoh, clean and tidy room, it's so comfortable to stay here. One advice I wanna give is, it would be great if you could provide Wi-Fi it would be great.

Great hotel clean room great price and owners very professional always willing to help only down side is I left in the room or in the fridge a water filtered bottle that I use while on bicycle tour

Excellent staff. Tom lt me use his laptop to teansfer my movies from my hardrive to mmemory stick to watch movies. Great value for the price.

In February 2025, three of us visit a friend who was staying in Malaysia. My fried is a Japanese living in Ipoh who often goes fishing on Pangkor Island.

Andy has been a really friendly and reliable person. He helped me to find a cheap car location, when couldn’t find it by myself.

The receptionist is friendly and welcoming. Accept me and my group last minute during heavy rain. Really recommend it.

It's a great place to stay for bagpacker. The owner is very nice. Always serve with a smile. Very clean toilet. Love the open space outside the room. You can enjoy some books.

Our room got a broken bidet, so that's a shame… However the room itself is very cozy and comfortable.

The room is clean and comfy. Good place for a family trip and solo traveller. The price is affordable, the location is near the centre but far enough that we have a quiet night.

It's one of it's kind. But getting there ain't easy because this condo kinda location away from the main road. You need to know your road to get there. But it's facility is amazing.

I am cyclist that passby Kampar and found this hotel, the receptionist Ah Poh is very kind and friendly.
He let me park my bike inside the room.

Didn't expect to see the excellent condition of the hotel based on the price paid. My room was well-maintained, the bathroom was very clean, the facilities well fully provided by the hotel.

Space — Not spacious but enough for short term stay.
Atmosphere — Cozy, good lighting, clean bathroom but the paint on the wall left to be desired.
Services — Impeccable. Warm reception.

I had a wonderful stay at The Shop Hotel, Kuala Kangsar. The room was very clean and comfortable, making it a relaxing experience throughout.

Overall, it was good. The room's exterior gave me a feeling of being back in kampung.

We had a lovely time here, the hotel is located right by the best beach a best restaurant on the island.

Very good, clean with everything you need and supermarket near. It's autonomous entrance but the owner answered quickly and the instructions was clear. We recommand. (60 for one night, two people's)

Perfect for backpack travelers. It was cheap, and for what we have paid was ok. Staff at the reception really nice and helpful.

The room is nice and convenient, just a little dusty. Service is good but the cleaners are quite noisy cleaning the rooms outside, I can hear them in my room.

Well I tried to stay here 2x with my family with small kids, very spacious, at first check inn we feel so creepy alamak salah hotel la, but tak ada apa pun, everything is good, no hantu thing 😂🤦🏻‍♀️.

After a frustrating search for accomodation at the Marina Island we were very tired and super happy that this was available for an excellent value for money.
