Friendly staff and good space to chill. Breakfast of toast and jams, free flow coffee and tea all day.

Super awesome hostel, with friendly staffs and guests. Wi-Fi is fast and with heater… rate are way cheaper than other hostel too!

Nice place, clean beds and very clean washrooms. Hope they maintain it. But their bunk beds dont hv the privacy curtains. Aircon in room 2 wasnt cold but the room wasn't tht hot either. Coffee tea, utensils provided in pantry. Overall pleasant stay.

Super location, chilled and comfortable vibes, movie night every night, nice kitchen, free breakfast, guitars and waffles and the best staff ever. What else? :) ♡

The environment is lovely, but BEWARE of BED BUGS. I got bitten awfully after a few days stay.

A decent cheap hostel in a nice city. Staff were mostly friendly but one of the guys on the desk was pretty surly and listened to a lot of metal. Dorms were good for the price and the other facilities were pretty clean. They need to provide soap in the bathroom.

Highly recommended place. Ultra-cheap, mini breakfast included, free tea and coffee 24 hours, spacious and clean kitchen, cozy and clean living room, screening of a movie every night at 8, 30, sympathetic staff.
There are only 5 or 6 bathrooms for 56 guests, so queues every morning. They are summarily cleaned.
The rooms are rarely cleaned, you have to check that the sheets have been changed because the guys are a bit distracted, but very helpful for any request.
The environment is convivial.
Absolutely recommended.

Very classy and positive place to stay, there is only one request! If the boss read the review) ) there need music and then a complete relaxation for the soul. The price is amazing not high for such a service in Hostelle thank you, good fellows)

Nicest hostel in Malaysia. Clean, and has great staff. The rooms are quite noisy from traffic below and there was a morning staff that was not very helpful and slightly rude. But overall, a friendly and fun vibe. There are even movie screening everyday.

Best place to be in ipoh. Clean spacious, cooking facilities, spotless bathrooms and showers and cheap if you just walk in without a booking. Free tea and coffee and breakfast included. Central location and friendly staff.

The place is quite comfortable and it has great/likable staff, but be careful with 'snatch and run' occupants/travellers (I got my smart band stolen). They've had many previous cases before, so protect your valuables at all costs.

Wonderful place to stay inn Ipoh. Value for money, and has a very nice and comfortable common area.

The double room was comfortable. Kitchen with free drinking water and tea. Wifi was not good, it sometimes disconnects for hours. The location is a little bit away from the old town. Reception closes at 11 pm. The atmosphere is fairly quiet, but with the possiblity to meet people depending on who's around. I would stay here again, unless I found something good closer to old town. I wouldn't make a point of coming to Ipoh again, not much to see really.

Location: 8.5/10. Quality: 9/10. Worth for your staying in Ipoh.

For rm20 per bed. Good choice for me. Clean toilet, airconditioning, kitchen also provided.

One of the best hostel of ipoh. Great location. Cheap price. Laundry availability. Breakfast included. Great hosts. Simply loved my stay with them and I already asked different travellers that if they are going to ipoh so must stay at Mari hostel.

Good place for young (! ) people. Clean place with nice and helpful staff… nice vibes around. The only thing to mention is that the dorm room is quite small. Thats okay for young travellers ;)

Nice place located centrally, spacious lobby and common areas, kitchen, slow Wi-Fi, movie evenings, friendly staff, near restaurants.

Very quiet and nice stay. Guys in reception finish their work early, so if you come after 18, write a note and they will organize! I got virtual check in, but all fine :) ) ) basic breakfast available and close to old city and night market.

Clean hostel, proper facilities, good location, nothing special but a good place to stay. They didn't have mirrors in the bathroom above the wash bins which is inconvenient if you need to shave, floss, put in your contact lenses or anything else for that matter. Also no power socket next to bed.

Modern, clean hostel with excellent bathrooms and friendly staff. Great location in Ipoh Old Town. Movie of the night at 8:30 is nice after a long day exploring and eating.

I loved my stay at Mari! The hostel is well kept and very clean. The staff is welcoming and friendly. My only main complaint is each dorm bed doesn't have it's own electrical outlet, which was inconvenient, but there are plenty if outlets around the hostel.

Best place ever. Prior to booking four beded dorm, we request owner to arrange for five of us the four beded, we dont mind paying five headcouts, because we'd like to have a private room for pillow talk. Owner arranged for us a more beded room and charge us a reasonable price, he is so nice and helpful. The place is clean and look exactly like those in picture. Definately will recommend and come again!

Mari Hostel was really clean and cozy~
They have breakfast 24/7, Wi-Fi, etc which you can chk with them! I like the fact that they have service staff picking up the phone 24hours unlike the other hostels~
Service staff is keen to know on our satisfaction while staying with them~ they had our picture taken as memory, they asked if the temperature is too cold, they asked about how's our trip. Call the cab for us. Suggest cab sharing! Very thoughtful and friendly!

Stayed in the place for one night. Excellent location, brand new, friendly staff. They have full day breakfast and good Wi-Fi. Also there's a big Screen in the lounge playing some movies. I would definitely recommend it. I think one of the best hostel I've stayed in Malaysia.
