The whole bad customer service experience from check-in, cleaning the room, incompetent staff and supervisor and the list goes on. At any cost, do not stay here otherwise you will suffer extreme emotional damage while your visit in Ipoh totally ruined! I'M DEAD SERIOUS!

Bad service. When I reach, they cannot find my booking. After about 40 min, they find the booking and give us room. When we go to the room, it in a very bad condition. The houskeeping not clean the room. When they give the replacement room, they forget to put the towel and take ages to send the towel. Surely I will never come to this hotel again. And the receptionist also not friendly.

The best 4 stars hotel in Ipoh! Amazed with ambience created-hotel in the garden, especially level 4 coffee house al-fresco dining area which you may enjoy your foods and drinks surrounding by plants and winds. What a cozy place to chill… Love their spacious room with bath.

I stayed for 2 nights. On arrival was greet and serve with welcime drink. Check in was fast.
Next morning breakfast was great. Riverview restaurant at 4th floor I was impressed that coffee mechine for breakfast. It was unplanned vacay. Went to lobby was greet by the Manager Terry Muzamir. With his help we manage to arrange our short vacay in ipoh. Thank you.

We checked into the hotel last night and we were charged RM10 tourist tax even though both me and my wife are Malaysian residents and have been for over 7 years via MM2H. The receptionist didn’t care about our MM2H residency… I would not recommend staying at this hotel again.

Wedding dinner at the hotel ballroom. Environment and food are fine. But cleanliness truely need improvement, if could, I would give a negative 5 stars for the cleanliness. I sit down, the plate and cup are all dusty. As the dinner is on-going, the new plate provided are also very dirty, I even saw a small insect falling out from it.

Pleasant stay here! Good selection of foodies at the lobby. Parking is not a problem. If you love a good jog or walk, Dr. Seenivasagam Park is just across the road.

Waited (and still waiting) more than 4:30pm to check-in since 10:30am, yet the rooms are still unavailable. Even though this is a very big event, it is not like it was booked a night before. This event booking has been made months before yet I am puzzled at how incompetent the staff are at preparing rooms at the stated time of 2pm.

Good, spacious n clean room. Speedy checking in. Friendly staff. The shower is fantastic plus the bath tub, esp the rain shower. Good bfast. Will definitely come back.

Room and bathroom clean. Good facilities. Check in and staff response very slow. No one answer phone when call to reception or at concierge. Breakfast buffet is passable. The worst is the cake displayed for sale, is very very NOT FRESH. Cakes were dry out from too many days exposed in fridge. Sponge tasted like cardboard, the mouse is like hard like carwash sponge. Pastry chef ought to be fired.

Ordered a three bedroom apartment under Agoda. This unit belongs to an owner and not the hotel management. So initially there was a bit of a hassle upon reaching the place. This however was made up for by the apartment which was spacious and well kit up with furnishing. Everything works but the place was probably last housekept some time ago… the floor was rather dusty. Still a pleasant stay.

I like to stay in here. Nice hotel. The staff are friendly. Just near the old town of Ipoh. You can walk around the perimeter to visit kopitiam, museum. Everything is in walking distance. Worth your money to stay at this hotel.

Room with King size bed was very spacious. Level of cleanliness/housekeeping which is of utmost importance is at acceptable level. It was surprisingly quite a pleasant stay although they were running at full or almost full house.

Alhamdulillah. Everything was fine. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. I booked through traveloka and get a very good price.

Great hospitality, rooms were clean and specious. Good view from the hotel rooms, breakfast was available with a vast variety of different dishes to cater to different appetites. Overall, it was a satisfied experience with this 4-star hotel, definitely highly recommended to all travellers.

Its a so-so Hotel and Suites with lots of flaws… 1. Coffee/tea facility was not available on our 2bedroom apartment… called for coffee facility but no one came 2. The masters bedroom aircon was not cold. Called for maintenance but still warm. Ended up not using the comforter so we wont feel totally warm inside the room 3. No reference for Operator/Reception phone number that we need to guess what the reception number is 4. No room service for HotelRestaurantFood 5. Wi-Fi was busted from 7pm to morning the day after 6. No enough TV channels to choose from.
I hope they improve their services and come up with solutions to all other issues being raised here in the comment/feedback section. Thanks.

I was stay kinta riverfront hotel on 9 june 2018. After I checked in hotel, I went to the room, The room was dirty, a lot of hairs drop on the floor and carpet seem like nobody clean it. Curtain had a lot of dust when I open it. Toilet was lacking water from toilet bowl, I called for complain, they just send cleaner come to see and after that she came with broom and sweap the floor for me, when I was check out, The reception said that I had to pay tourism tax. I knew from the new about this but he told me pay RM 20 for tourism tax. I came back home to check about tax that tourism tax pay by Hotel stars rate. I book from agoda. Your hotel is 4 stars. Why he told me pay RM 20?! money is not issue but how I know your hotel stars rate is true!?

A little bit rin down. Kitchen was without any basic kitchen utensils like spoons, plates and etc.

Nice environment, clean rooms, nice view, spacious. Good hairdresser, manicure padicure and facial shop downstairs. Enjoyed my stay.

Hotel location is very good, convenient transportation, room is also very large. The only drawback is that the breakfast is so bad that there is basically nothing to eat.

First we enter the room with some empty amenities, call front dest ask for replacement. They sent someone but they never press the bell or knock the door, came right into the room, give us a shock. then the next day, housekeeping the same thing, they came right in like there is no one in the room. Durint night time, the whole hallway light was out for few hours, making to so creepy to leave the room. the inside lock the room is not working, the shower head in the toilet is broken. overall this place is acceptable. The pool is amazing! one of the kind!

If I'm honest, then it's the worst hotel of our previous Malaysia trip. The apartment is large enough but the rooms are dark and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. It would be worth the time to eenn the bathroom by the mould. The breakfast is very good.

Standard hotel place if you're looking to crash for the weekend while you're busy visiting, shopping and what-not. Has a swimming pool area, big kitchen if you feel like cooking while you're here. Within commutable distance to the nearest mall.

It's a spacious apartment, close to amneties. However cleanliness level could be better. Sheets are stained and gray. Water heater didn't work in one of the bath.

Something and nothing. Disappointing. BUT the Sunday Market is extremely good and interesting.

Breakfast not good waiting for half boiled egg more than 1 hour then when get its not half boiled egg 90% boiled egg stay for 3 night breakfst same no differnt not much choice like other 4 start hotel.

This is by far the worse apartment that I've ever lived in and for the price that we've paid for. We booked one of the suites for 4 people. It started off with a door to the laundry that goes out to the balcony. It cannot be locked or closed due to the damaged lock. Then, it was the quilts. We were given quilts with no quilt cover  and was told that we will have to make do with it by the person in charge. Next, pillows with no pillowcases. Apparently when we contacted the person in charge, her reason was that all suites were the same and they don't have pillow covers. What a pathetic response to something so simple. Thanks but sleeping on a pillow with a pillowcase or a quilt with a cover shouldn't be something that we need to ask for in a paid accomodation. Next, we checked out the toilets and there was a hissing sound coming from the back of it. Great, there was a leaky pipe from the back of the toilet. Then came the bathtub, the drainer was closed and the knob to open was broken. So, filthy stagnant water got stuck in the tub and it couldn't be drained. No chance I'm showering in that filthy bathtub. Then, we went to the second bathroom. Turned the power on and started the water heater, no hot water. There wasn't any power going through and considering how poorly everything was maintained, we switched off the mains to avoid risking any mishap. To be fair, the person in charge did try to find us quilt covers after we made our point clear that we were not happy.

Affordable and quite modern system for the rooms. However, the gym's equipment are a bit run down and old. Overall good value for money.

Terrible service offered by your trainee. Checked in at 3pm, bath tub is dirty. Room has no towel, asked for a towel and the trainee replied the towel will be delivered in 2 hours! What kind of service is that!

The management runs a hotel and the adjoined serviced apartments. Have not tried the rooms but attended many functions here. A popular choice for weddings, gala events, seminars, stage shows, etc. It is located along the famous Kinta River. The walk along the riverbank is recommended. For the health conscious there is a hanging bridge that crosses over the river to DR Park for more greenery. A breath of fresh air in the early mornings especially. Some choice activities there at night too. Stalls. Barber. Bike rental. No other hotels with such amenities in Ipoh.

Definitely the place you want to stay if you intend to explore ipoh. It's just a 5 minute drive for good food and if you're feeling lazy theres Domino's delivery service in that area. Friendly staff and great service. If traveling in a big group or with family there's apartments with 3 rooms at a reasonable price. It's also next to the highway for an early trip back home to avoid the usual holiday traffic jam.

Dirty carpet… looks like the hotel does not own a vacuum cleaner. Musty, old smell in bedroom. Really poor maintenance and bad management. Unfriendly staff too. This is a 2 star hotel. Not coming back.

I stayed from 23rd Dec 2017 to 24th Dec 2017. We are happy with the hotel. Need to improve on:
— towels & bedlinen — have stains
— carpet in the room — also have stain marks
— pool — no staff at the counter when we came & went off Room is spacious, so as the toilet. We can watch TV from the bath tub! Love the shower too.

Many conference rooms. Nice and tidy. But need to improve pre-check service. Projector and microphone give troubles.

Very dirty room, no cleaning and stink, I'm a tour guide, I've never lived in such a bad hotel.

The room is still acceptable compared to a couple of years back when this hotel was still new. However the breakfast spread was compromised. Maybe because we checked in on a Sunday so the Monday morning breakfast we get was very basic? I don't know.

The rooms have undergone some refurbishment and the service is good.

Very unpleasant 1st time experience. No staff offer help with our bags, parking at lobby area all reserved. Rooms are ok. Breakfast almost the same menu everyday.

Apartment is appalling. Poorly maintained, filthy, Wi-Fi is non-existent. Worse than a budget hostel. Hotel rooms are poorly maintained and dirty. Wifi is also non-existent. Will never visit this place again.

Not too fancy looking. But there's a VR and video games and also a bike rental place at the small park surrounding part of the river in front of the hotel which looks very cool but didnt have a chance to check it out. It was nice to walk around at night there with the colourful fairylights and big trees. There's also a row of small shops and eateries there with people hanging around. The 5th-storey (? ) hotel pool had an infinity edge but it was towards the lounge area and not the side of the building but still cool. Nice location to go out and walk to the ipoh heritage path in the city centre.

Hotel of standard 3 star rating, at the most. Attended Ipoh 5th Mental Health Convention here on 17th to 19th August 2017. F&B average but service during teatime could have been better and more attentive or prompt i. E. Ran out of plates due to long queue, did not ensure enough cakes for everyone present.

Room is spacious however the hotel is poorly maintained! At peak hour only one front desk staff is available and no concierge was at the desk at all time. Need to inform the front desk to call the concierge in order to take my luggage! Upon arriving in the morning the guest service manager inform that room is still not available after giving all the booking information which is understandable however did not do any pre register and I need register again when I am back in the afternoon. Stayed at 15th floor no aircon in the foyer and the floor was poorly maintained!

Stayed for 3 days. Had the breakfast, lunch & dinner buffet spread and it was very good. Rooms are big and spacious, but it looks bare. We had a pantry and we could simple dishes too. Great place to have a group function.

I love the abc that I made by myself when it was dinner time. They provide decent food so far.

The pros; Ample parking, fair location close to the heart of town, reasonable pricing, majestic view. The Cons; Confusing protocols, environment looks dated and best of all junior staff feels under trained.

Worker need to retrainning. Include mangment level. As 5 star hotel lobby flow 3D display broke still but there!. Coffee shop dirty and need to relayout.

Over rated! Dirty and smelly. Staff has no response on my request to fix up the damaged items in the room.
