A great modern mall to shop, breakfast, lunch or dine with family and friends. Or relax with a cuppa at Starbucks and The Coffee Bean. Or simply check out the beautiful waterfront and marina behind the mall and various eateries. The Mall owners should promote it even more to attract more customers.

Nang! Million times. Took me a while for gripping my composure that this is Malaysia. This is actually Penang and not overseas. My problem and the problem of people who always are under the impression that sea across Malaysian borders are more bluish and greener. You can’t blame me either. No one, none has spoken about Straits Quay. In fact, I knew zero percent on Straits Quay until I came over. Shopping mall and exclusive condo living on the floors atop, Straits Quay is sincerely the breather to Penang sea. Wah! Those super-duper boats are not mine. I can't afford by the way. Perhaps the only option for me will be piggy-backing any of the rich and famed Malaysians or foreigners for a ride in their boats. Straits Quay I was told is an enlivening watering hole and food seventh heaven once the sun goes down. Daytime and on weekdays, sure, you can meal at any of the eateries in the mall, but outside, choices are limited. In fact, I had to opt between the only two, side by side eateries at this hour. 3.00pm. That said, to those of you who hate being amongst the night crowd, day time is the better option for your alone time in, in Straits Quay. No rush, no hustle and bustle, and at your whims and fancy.

Again another good massage, this is my second massage in five days, at the Thai Odyssey. Going for my third. Why? Because the masseuse knows where all the knots are and does her best to ease the tightness. Fyi I work in front of the PC daily hence the poor posture and tight muscles. The marina is great with activities and restaurants. Love the fact you can walk your dog there. And the dog owners I met there were good too, cleaning up after their pooches.

Though there are not many shops for shopping, this place is wonderful. The marina is the best part of this mall. Also I love the environment during work days. So quiet. You can spend time at cafes reading your favorite book here.

Bike cycling is definitely a number one recommendation. Bike cycling along the quay and pass by the apartment, you'll be able to reach the temple just next to the beach. Awesome scenery and great leisure. Quay mall doesn't have much outlets but there are a few food options. Mostly western cuisine. Bar and bistro is very popular. Many yatchs and cruise to observe. If you're lucky, you might get to meet one of the owners drifting way to the sea.

A very comfortable square. Just not a lot of food. A good place to go out with a couple at night.

Straits Quay Marina Mall is a beautiful and scenic place by the seaside. There are some nice and good Eateries and restaurants for their tasty and delicious food. Not much Shopping as there are few. Boutiques for clothes and accessories and shoes like Converse and Adidas. But there is a nice Supermarket for your groceries nearby. What I love is the sidewalks by the sea where children can cycle with their bicycles and people can stroll along by the seaside.

Spacious and cozy retail outlet. You'll hardly ever find this place rowdy. Restaurants are in abundance however boutiques are slightly scarce. Bikes for rent can be found when you enter the main entrance on your right just before you enter for RM15 for 3 hours. You're only allowed to cycle on the promenade (adjacent to the marina) fret not for either way you go, it's going to be a long ride. There's also a grocery store (slightly pricey) at the entrance.

Place is a perfect score only if you encounter a similar big day or count down, my personal opinion is not to go well, because I was in carpark last night for two hours or so. But the rest of me, I personally think it's a pretty nice romantic place.

Looking for place that is located near the sea, has wonderful view of Penang city and has shopping mall and a hotel? Well this is the place for you! Straits Quay Marina Bay is the only seafront retail marina in Penang! It has condominiums and apartments facing the sea, giving you the uniquely beautiful view of the sea. Beside, there are many shopping outlets for you to shop in, restaurants for you to dine in and even cafes for you to read novels or even do your work. You can even take a leisure stroll along the seaside pavement nearby and enjoy the wonderful view of Penang city. Hope this review helps you.

It's a unique place in Penang, a retail shopping mall located on a seaside promenade and a quay for private yachts. This place houses many restaurants, cafes and pubs. Really great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while enjoying the seaview. Parking is cheap and convenient. There's a supermarket here as well.

Such a clean and beautiful place. Great pubs and food. Seaside views and late night walks along the seaside.

Awesome. You guys should go there. Great ambience, cozy places. Dont forget to bring your $$$ here cause things being sold here are hella expensive.

This is a place that offers premium experience who appreciates luxury. Food here is awesome all over. There are places for you to see and appreciate the sea. A must stop place for those who own yatch as this place offers you to park, dine and continue your journey around Penang island. Also has halls for function which are luxurious and even offers seaview.

Beautiful atmosphere and many branded outlets. Supportive of theater arts and music. It gives the feeling you are at a port.

Nice walk on the quay. Good for cycling. Alot of food choices, but good ones are hard to come by.

This is one of a kind mall situated near the sea of northern Penang. Ample parking space and spacious walkways. Check out the sea view at night. Take note that the place might be a tad hotter during night.

Its an eventful place with some ships and boats spotted right by it. Has luxurious looking cafes and shops and well kept lavatories. Small and cozy hotel rooms for relaxation can be reserved for stay.

This place is surrounded by sea which comes with harbor, makes one of the perfect tourist destination and best photo spot in Penang. There is a upscale supermarket inside this mall as well.

A nice place to have a morning or evening walk. To bring your loves one for a nice relaxing time. The breeze is nice and cold. But currently due to there is a construction piling up the ocean, it is not that scenery at the moment. Overall it is still a good place to hang out.

This is a very small mall that Tesco is better and those shop here are not branded although the mall is nice. But if you want to take photos of the waterfront it is good place but not currently because Seri Tanjung Pinang phase 2 is in front of Strait Quay and Gurney and from Strait Quay you can see reclaimation works are being done and it is very near. You can't take the skyline of Gurney, I think it's too far too capture a great view. The toilet hand dryer doesn't function. So use paper instead of hand dryer although they ask us to save papers and use hand dryers.

If you want to spend some time in a fancy place you need to come here. I front of the marina. Yachts and the sea it la the main view. Restaurants and some shops.

Very lively mall at the water front with many restaurants. Nice walk around it specially in the evening. Best time to visit at sunset.

Perfect for a stroll, coffee or beer by the sea. There is some retail here, but don't expect a full range of shops. A great place to watch fireworks on New Year's Eve.
