Nice place. Separate showers, cold air-conditioning and respectful guests. Front desk staff Kim is awesome.

I came here with my family. We slept in a private dorm of 8 beds destined for us as a private family booking. The beds were so big and cozy to sleep on. It was beautiful, soothing, relaxing and clean. I felt a bit cold at first due the A/C but as soon as we let the staff know, they increased the temperature from 20 to 24 degrees and they gave us extra blankets.
I took a stroll to the love lane which is 500 meters away. There is a large variety of restaurants and stalls close to the hostel for different food choices such as Indian, Chinese, Malay, Thai, Indian Muslim… The Red Court with many stalls is just behind the hostel. The rapid ferry is 10 minutes away, it was a nice experience to hop to the ferry to get to the mainland as well. Janine, one of the staff who works there, was super friendly and so much helpful towards our itinerary providing us advice about places to eat and things to see.
My weekend was splendid and very affordable. Will surely come back.
