Great. Affordable and good choice of hotels because it is at the heart of city. Nice staffs. Can leave your bags for awhile after u checkout when u still want to go somewhere. Near bus stop. But the space kinda small. The water heater in the bathroom takes time to hot, and not that hot eventho I put it at max. Blanket too small for 2 ppl. Had somekind of unpleasent smell.

Grand inn ini love banget. Karena kemana mana dekat. Kuliner terkenal deket. Depannya ada nasi kandar. Deket komtar juga. 15 menit jalan kaki sudah nyampe. Lain kali pingin nginap di sini lagi.

Is nice and the service was good. And of course the food is delicious very good food.

Budget hotel in the town, a lot place to visit by walking. Recommended.

Great location to have access to good Penang food, but the rooms are quite small and the air-conditioned was wonky.

Friendly receptionist, clean and tidy room, got Wi-Fi on each level. Guys I told you this is a great hotel to stay!

Truly appreciate the reception staff because I've arrived in around 11-12pm and rain heavily, he serve us nicely and lend us his own umbrella. Good service for budget hotels. The room just nice. We used 2 to rooms, 1 for family room and the another for double room. The double room is near from the street and quite noisy. You may request another room position. They didn't serve mineral water in room but you can get water as much as you want from the water dispenser in your floor with water heater in your room. They give coffe in sachets as room services, but when we went checkout it give us adding fee to pay. We thought its free just like another hotels. The location itself very good. Right across the street just 24h Restaurant (Jaya), Convenient store (7-Eleven), and Clothes store. It's near from free CAT bus stop and another tourism attraction (like street art), also near from local traditional food (Sup Hameed, Nadi Kandar Line Clear), Bar, International food tenant (Starbucks, Subway, etc).

The Grand Inn Hotel has a great restaurant in the building. Tokyo Yakitory. Nice place. Good atmosphere. A varied menu. Prices are quite reasonable. If you are in George Town recommend. Prices are quoted in the Rengach.

When my mom and brother go to see doctor in penang, they stay in this hotel. One of the staff knocking our door in the middle of night so loud and we scream asking what happen then he try to open our door using 'the staff room key card'. We were so afraid. He looks like want to rob us because before that, we ask for the additional pillow maybe he know we came for see a doctor and brought many of cash.

My husband and I really appreciate the Reception staff at Grand Inn Hotel, Penang Road, Georgetown. Also the cleaning staff, one gentleman especially. Attended to us each day when necessary. The room we had (for 23days) Twin Double, with own Bathroom, (shampoo and soaps) coffee sachets, cups, glasses & Hot water flask. (a hot & cold drink Dispenser outside our room) Clean linen & towels too. A good Budget Hotel. Very reasonably priced too! The Grand Inn is so conveniently located, with Buses close by & a Free CAT hop on hop off bus opposite. Easy to get to Komtar, then other places of interest as well. We were pleasantly surprised & enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely come back to stay.

Good service and nice environment.

Good enough for your money. The basic amenities in an excellent location! Walking distance to many restaurants and the city's free hop on/off bus. If you can't sleep through noise, don't get a room facing the Main Street. We asked to change rooms after not being able to sleep the first night (loud clubbing music) and they were quick to help move us to a quiet. Room in the back.

Small and old hotel bit clean and cheap. Stff very helpfull and friendly.

A clean, comfortable, affordable and safe budget hotel in the heart of Georgetown with 24 hour front desk and right opposite Jaya Restaurant for 24/7 yummies. Little bit of a stink in the room.

Near the most animated streets in penang without the problem of the noise. Clean rooms, nice staff. Note: the rooms in the third floor are the best.

Good location Inn but the in got smelly carpet. Old building that had been renovated. So don't expect to much.

The best restaurant with good prices and friendly staff, but only if you are a customer of hotel. Hotel is 3 star maximum.

Unfriendly staff, the hotel is smelly right from the lobby. Checked out the room for the double decker and its congested. The room also produce some kind of odour which isn't pleasing.

The hotel location is convenient. It's easy to go to any tourist attractions. It's close to George town within walking distance and there's free bus stop across the street.

Clean and has a very good staff.

Stayed here one night in July. Nice place, clean and best of all, you are in the middle of the best part of the city. Very close to restaurants and all the best sight seeing places and bike and scooter rental. Staff friendly and can arrange follow on transport to Thailand or other parts of Malaysia.

Simple but clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing to complain about. Beds are clean and comfy.
