Clean, great fan, aircon, tea and coffee, close to beach and many eating places.
We have had the most amazing time here and we stayed longer than planned… as does every traveler that stays here we found :)
There is so much to say about this place I could write a book. The rates are excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable and so are the shared bathroom.
Breakfast is included in the rate, but not just plain ol toast and jam. You are offered a local breakfast like Nasi Dagang, Nasi Lamak, Rotti canai, eggs, fruit etc along with your jam and toast. Tea and coffee and filtered water all day with cookies.
The generosity of the Malay people is amazing and this family really takes the cake. Maznah (Mamma) with her hearty laugh is always handing out yummy things to try and Faz (her son) always drives his guests to town for shopping and ATM (if long stay there are no supermarkets in Cherating) and will gladly assist in getting you to see tourist sites and outings.
The staff here are super friendly. When we chose this place we looked at the photos and saw how happy everyone always was, well, this is a happy place. You will feel at home here and the atmosphere is so relaxed and cheerful you wont want to leave.
The Location is perfect. 100m to the beach, 50 m to the main street and close to the main road where the bus will drop you.
The communal area is comfortable and fantastic with great Wi-Fi speeds and the communal kitchen we made good use of.
This is now our way away from home in SEA and although we are sad to leave, we will be back!
