View is nice but poor facilities maintenance. The hot shower almost never function. Only function once on the last day of stay. Pool occasionally have dead frog floating inside it. Not much of choices at the resort cafe. And lastly definitely not disabled friendly. Difficult to move around if u using wheelchair. But again view is nice. Sorry can't think of any other good point for the resort.

Though the location is superb… But the place are old, took 2 apartments, but for the price (old used up apartmen) is not worth it. Holiday Villa needs to revamp the place, renew their rooms amenities, etc.

Old hotel, some rooms need a serious refresh. Swimming pools are both nice big and clean. Expensive for the quality on Malaysian standards. Sea view from hotel is also nice. Breakfast not so good either.

If you ever made it to Cherating, avoid Holiday Villa at all costs. Great service, friendly staff — but these plus points could not make up for how bad the facilities are. Seems like old chalet with minimal upkeeps done. To get a proper temperature for shower, you must work the shower knobs as if you're opening a safe. Don't get me started on the food. Horrible selection for breakfast buffet.

Good scenery for beach party but aging accomodation facilities. Need major renovation to attract repeating visitors.

Very good quality, very close to the seaside, but because of the seasonal problem, the water is not particularly clear, and the families who are in great demand can reconsider.

Such a terrible experience at this lousy hotel, or rather motel. My first step at the check-in counter, I have a Malay guest shouting in frustration asking to change his room, and I thought he was over reacting, until my wife & 6 month son saw our lousy, stinking room, with stains all over. Boasts a 4star, but I wouldn't even give a 2. Later got upgraded to another room, but not much a difference, shower wouldn't function & that awful smell. I left a pool towel in my room during checkout, was raining heavy outside. Told the lady at the counter named Eeka who couldn't even speak proper English, that I had left the towel in the room. She insisted me to run back to my room in the rain to return the stinking pool towel or else I'll have to pay RM50. So I did. Instead, she could have helped me check with the housekeeping person over to check if there was a towel in the room. Never going back to this lousy place & I hope you don't as well to save the frustration on your well deserved holiday.

Antic and nice place! Buffet breakfast by sea side and delicious lunch at restaurant. Recommend you to have a night here.

They dont provide towel or foot mat at the first time to arrive. The facilities are all good. Nice surrounding as well.

I stayed at this resort for couple of nights with a group of my friend. Since it was off season we got a pretty good deal. We had a small swimming pool just in-front of our room which it was great. Very friendly staff and good service.

Rooms are ok. A bit out of date but still ok. But paid Wi-Fi? Thats just weird man. Easy to find food there, outside of the resort I mean. Inside, not so sure. The pool is ok. But the beach is fabulous!

Pleeeease update your rooms and chalets. Everything is sooo tired and worn. Please update because you have awesome pools and easy access to a beautiful beach.

Belum renovate sepenuhnya. Rasa mcm duduk di zaman 90an. Need room n fittings refurbishment. No Wi-Fi. Pantai cantik and its a plus point. Kolam pon ok utk budak2. Nsk makan pon senang. Just drive keluar resort dan belok kanan. Depan tu ada big restaurant serving hot nasi lemak n thai food.

No Wi-Fi in chalet. Which is good for everyone. Toilet so, so. Toiletries very low quality. Ask for chalet closest to beach.

Overall is good. But this place heve to refurbished. Its has been 30 years in market n its the time to update.

It has 2 large swimming pools and it has quite large rooms for the guests staying with many family members. Plus, it has a very clean beach and a spectacular view of the whole Cherating beach overlooking South China Sea.

Come here for a real relaxing holidays put down your iphone or newspaper. Enjoy the beauty nature of the beach and enjoy the fresh seafood.

3 days 2 nite family vacation. Polite staff — compliment to Shima (front counter) she really deserve to get Good Credit from the management. Been approach with smile from other Employees of Holiday Villa Cherating. Nice hotel, Superb view. Most important enjoy my vacation with my family and 2 sons.

Good for family beach vacation.

Rooms small and old. Suffered with bed mites suring my last visit in April 2016… and entire family suffered from mild food poisoning which suspect due to the special order BBQ dinner. Beach needs to be cleaned up. My previous visit in Feb 2015 deserved at least 4 stars.

Holliday villa cherating! Terima kasih sbb bg yg tbaek spanjang sy brcuti bsama kluarga. Front offce: sangt baik. House kpping: sangt baek. Kwsan hotel sngt bersih. Espcially at beach area. Bilik cntik wlaupun hotel lama. So im happy at HvC. Tq.

Special thanks to Bernard The General Manager of Holiday Villa as well as Stanley Lim for their hospitality during my stay in Cherating. They served me with the best service. Even though we have known each other only for a few days, but it seems like we known each other for a long time due to their friendliness. Keep it up guys.

Pros: The front desk is very helpful. The beach is very clean, it have nice parking lot in front of hotel. Nice swimming pools. Cons: My room drain line is clogged, aircond need to be replaced or services because it was to noisy. No qibla guide on the ceiling, a bit difficult for muslims.

Old, right hellhörige plant, which is more than just a little bit Renovierungsbedarf. The rooms are not just big and why the Hotel is as child-friendly is viewed, if it's not even a baby-sitting service there is beyond me. The booth itself was in February rather unspectacular and quite dirty, the sea is very muddy, but also on the monsoon have lain could.
