She helped my father to retrieve his missing wallet in the hotel room after we checked out. As she declined our offer for rewarding her, we can only praise her professionalism here. Kudos Sherine! There are some pros and cons — I think the hotel has difficulty coping with the surge in visitors. The buffet area does not have enough staff — and they just refused my request point blank! Also, the table I was seated at had used plates and cutleries on the table, called the staff twice to clean it but was ignored my the staff. The manager in charge ended up cleaning it. Lastly, the plates were not washed properly. I noticed bits of egg yolk stuck on some of them. Ewwwwwwww. The water chalet we got was a bit dusty had to call the room service to clean it. However, the room service is good and all requests were surely accommodated. The scenery is beautiful and pools are good. Very relaxing!

I dont mind coming back here but the service not up to my expectation of 5star hotel. Gotta improve ur customer service. I only asked for face towel, at first, they said okay. 2mins later, they called my room and told me, ‘face towel only for premium room’. And I was like. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 5star hotel gimme that kind of answer? Should I use pillow case as my face towel then? Funny. Lucky the views are pretty and Ramadhan buffet was amazing. Malay kitchen staff really doing well there ✨

Among the best hotel in PD. Great hospitality. Staffs were pleasant and very responsive. Foods at the Village Cafè were awesome n tasty. It's just that last night my family and I had a bit worry night due to heavy rain and thunderstorm. Looking forward to come here again and can enjoy the slide at the kids pool and other facilities there. Owh, really interesting to see peacocks, bunnies and others at d petting farm too❤❤❤❤❤

I am very happy that the staffs here are well trained and polite. Somehow I am disappointed with the car park facility. I paid more than RM500 for a night but somehow there's no proper covered parking space and the space provided to park is so narrow. Ended up my has been scratched badly which I believe someone bang my car while trying to exit the parking space as it's super narrow. Ended up I have to pay extra to fix my car because of this. It took me a while to exit from the parking space as it's so narrow for me to reverse. The room itself I would it is old and dusty. Blood stain can the bed sheet. It's so different from the picture I saw from the Agoda. I believe I deserve to have a better service and facility with the price I paid. Been here twice but might wanna think twice again if I would wanna stay here again.

I think no matter how much people comment, no rectification really done on issues highlighted. Because I think personally, the business still good, people still come and stay, so what? For me, specially the front liners at reception counter who do not know how to smile and greet customer politely (maybe these receptionist should be sent for customer service courses) and no courtesy from mgt to really look on customer request even a month before. I have to climb the stairs up to upper garden chalet, to carry my baby up and its slippery too during rainy season. And the car park was full and we have to park opposite road site where it was super dangerous to cross the road as a lot of cars passed thru the road with max speed. Maybe only after incidents happened, then only action will be taken. I think your people would have a lot of excuses and blamed back guest as a fussy guest etc. But please put yourself inside our shoes and please we do not stay at your hotel for free, we pay for it.

The customer service is bad. I have bought a voucher from Fave, and in the voucher is mentioned the lunch and dinner is included. When checked in, the front counter in front that the voucher is not included with breakfast as consumer I will assume that the breakfast was included because in the voucher it mentioned about lunch and dinner only. Which is misleading to consumer and they are used the tone and unfriendly voice to explain, just asked me to show them where it mention…ed it is breakfast included. In additional, when that time do the reservation, I have mentioned in the mail, would like to request for the king size bed, when that time checked in, front customer said the request is not mention in the booking details, but I can prove them with the email, but they seem like ignore and to admit their faulty. The room maintenance need to improve, most of the lighting are spoiled, the air condition is not cold, booked the water chalet but balcony is full of bird shit.

Terrible experience. When I step into the room, the bed side full with thick dust. The TV not functioning and the fridge is broken. They shifted us to another room, the problem getting more worst. The toilet bowl inside got shit, OMG. The safety box was not inside the room and need to wait them to fix it. When come to nite time only I realised the light is not functioning too. The maintenance ppl come and check and change but when come to midnight the lights no functioning again. The teapot also not functioning. My experience thr is keep on waiting the maintenance ppl check and fix and wasting my time. The worst is the manager dun even turn up to us even he are the one who said want to call us to settle the problem. What a bad experience with Avillion Resort. Rated too high for them. The room conditions was so old, and the service was so bad.

Bathroom in the water chalet is too awesome. Overall a very good resort. Ample activities to do within the place and nice location too. Best for any age, however good things doesn't comes cheap.

Good for holiday except some restaurant staff can be more friendly and hospitality.

Hotel service is very poor. Room without Wi-Fi and called up reception but unable to resolve issue. No bath towel in the room and called up several times, waited for an hour for the towels to be brought. Plus point is room is decent.

Great relaxing stay. The Premium Water Chalet had a very nice view of the sea and was quite spacious. Rooms were nice but a bit older. The 4 poster bed was great and fit our own 2x2m mosquito net just right. Location is one hour away from KLIA. Service staff was nice and friendly. We especially loved the "Water-Flatrate" during meals and free bottles of water by the pool.

Pool is cleana and nice. It is children friendly. The sea view room is nice.

A great place for a quick Balinese-style get-away from the city for a good 2 nights stay, as the amenities and activities may be covered and utilized within the period. Food options lean towards Asian, lesser on international spread, for the breakfast buffet. Rooms are generally larger than hotel's, with outdoor an shower area, toilet, and a huge twin-basin sink, which is great for couple or families.

This is my 1st time stayed there but I’ve been there several times as one of my family favourite eating place. Overall, very nice on the room condition at the premium water chalet (king) but the maintenance on the woods condition must be done rapidly and continuously. For F&B part, the taste are not at the par as usual, please take my comment seriously. Avi spa is superb! Thank you so much to all staffs there, well done for the good job especially Ms Nurul Nazwa. Above all, my salute to Mr Kenny, the GM. Mr Prakash and not to forget, very wonderful Mr Chandran, F&B Mgr. The hospitality given are so much appreciated. Thx again all. Despite being a little old, this resort has so much to offer, frm birds to rabbits mini park, kids play room, movie room, gymnasium, adults and kiddies pool, beautiful ambience and also very near to the beach. The scenary is breathtaking. If you are a person with disabilities, u might have some difficulties roaming around the resort. The food spread is not very impressive, however the resort is located so close to town, where u can visit many food outlets.

A good and comfortable place to stay considering it is an old hotel however food can be improved. Nonetheless, still is one of the better places in PD.

Excellent place. But the guest rooms need some updating and refurbishment. Showing signs of age already. 2stars to the room. What makes it 4stars is the excellent spa.

The crystal-clear water and the soft sand of the beach would leave you in awe. Each room got a incredible vista wether at night or day.

Rooms are quite run down. We stayed in a beach chalet. Food in a la carte Restaurant is not very good as well. Otherwise staff are very friendly and helpful. Adult swimming pool was crowded with noisy youngsters playing games and small children on some nights.

Our second time here since our last visit long time ago. But the place well maintain esply the garden. We came check in at nite coz my hubby got metg until late evening. We booked premium water chalet but unfortunately they code us the chalet very near to the garden. Then my hubby inssist the room view the sea. And tqvm to Mr Sujeidran @ Jay the Front Office Manager who is very kind n helpful giving us to choose the room very near n can see the sea eventhough not exactly seafront cos all full alrdy n he gave us complimentary extend until 6pm (late checkout). The staff all very friendly n definitely will come again n bring my family here.

We loved the resort. Stayed in executive water villa. Had the excess to the exclusive lounge. It opens the doors at 6 pm till 8 pm. There are a lot of complimentary drinks and some small bites along. But the most beautiful is a view. Where you can watch amazing sunset. Can take your breath away! In case there are no clouds) ) ) then the sun can't be seen at all… But we were lucky to experience the sunset once. For those who is travelling to the beach hotel and expecting to swim in the sea, this resort is not the place to go. A lot of sea flies all over the beach area and need to use the mosquito repellent before you step on the beach. And there are many corals and other stuff inside the water. Not convenient to swim. But there are 2 pools: 1 can be used for the families. And 1 for adults only. With a lot of jungle around. Amazing view and pool itself. We liked it a lot. The peacocks are walking around the area, it has a small animal farm where every day at 10 am kids can join the animal bath till 11 am. The price for the food is acceptable. Not much difference from the city restaurant's price. So all in all we loved the Hotel and will be planning of visiting again.

A good place to stay for a vacation or even a weekend get away. It has water chalet, which nice to stay in. Two swimming pools, a cafe, a private beach, games room, training/meeting rooms, and petting corner. Nice and friendly services by the staff. Parking area is a bit of a problem during peak season.

The hotel is well decorated and gives a relaxing vibe. The room was well lit and the ensuite, open sky shower area is well furnished with a bathtub at the side, a toilet cubicle and a rain shower. A hairdryer was also provided in the shower area.

Private beach, beautiful view of horizon, spacious room, friendly staff. Especially the maintenance staff, they are very responsive and came to assist very quickly. Love the water chalet room because of the stunning view of the sea, very tranquil atmosphere.

Located on a private beach along the coast with many water chalets right over the beach. Amazing views of the horizon, relaxing atmosphere. Room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and daybed to laze, and a big open-top rain shower. Staff were attentive and friendly ready to serve guests.

Room is reasonable for the price paid. Just that with heavy rain, it's not possible to head to the front desk without an umbrella. But 1 thing, they don't give face towels, only bath towels given. Maybe during the raining season, hotel could provide guest with an umbrella upon check-in in the event guest do no have umbrella. Staff are courteous, they smile as we walk by. But food is average, there's much room for improvement in order to match the prices paid.

The dinner staff looks too tired. Lacking courtesy and smile. Local guest dun understand what is swimming attire… no collar t or t shirt. A 3 star resort for 5 star price. Fit for those who have not stayed above 3 star resort.

My fiancé and I wanted to get away for a week before the wedding and decided on Port Dickson Malaysia as it is only a 4 hour flight from Hong Kong, where we currently reside. On arriving at the hotel we were impressed though after check in we started to see the resort for what it is, run down, old, and using cheap gimmicks to get people in. To start the "spice farm" is nothing more than just a small garden with a few labels. The "Orchid hut" is just some hanging pots under a small wooden structure surrounded by a cage, probably placed there to keep guests away. The nature walk is simply a concrete path through the hotel grounds, and the only nature you will see at the resort is the peacocks that seem to be more of a nuisance than nature and the odd monkeys that can be seen rummaging through trash and who will personally escort you back to your room bearing teeth. The petting area is a great place to see animals abused by not very well supervised hotel guests for an hour a day, notably rabbits some of which missing parts of their ears. This made sense once I saw hotel guests picking rabbits up by their ears like you would see on a cartoon. Staff did nothing to stop this. We thought it would be romantic to book a premium over water chalet though once we entered we noticed a room lacking love and care, desperately needing an update. There was mould on the walls (not including the bathroom) the small deck has nails poking up and looks to be rotting in some areas.

We love this place. It is as relaxing as you want. We even saw the staff setting up the chalet next to us, which was obviously a special request. There is also a children's petting zoo that I loved too lol This was our 2nd stay and we will return.

2017.07.25-27 Too much room for improvement. Attended an event with the family, with a significant level of expectation particularly because it was the first time that the youngest would be encountering the beach. She did find some sand among all the garbage. The concept of 'Private Beach' seems to suggest some form of oversight or responsibility, and thus one comes to expect things like a level of cleanliness that is nowhere to be found among the floating bottles and foamy brown water. The room is spacious and has that Beach Resort feel: however, it should be up to the guests to decide whether they want to sleep in, and in order to achieve this we could use some blinds that actually stop the sunlight from entering the room with the brightness of a thousand suns every morning. Smaller details that need to be improved include the friendliness of certain staff (one particular lady kept treating guests in a way that seemed that we were bothering her by asking her for assistance). Oh, and since the noises from the outside are so easily heard, it would be great if you could use newspaper bags that are way less noisy, while also telling the gentleman who delivers it that a lighter foot would be very welcome since it's dawn. The pool and facilities are nice, and the kids loved the pet farm and the private cinema room.

It's a five star hotel with a beach. But you'll have to travel at least 30 min to sg pelek to get some good food. Relaxation? Ok. Food? No.

A pilgrimage place for Singaporean visitors during school holidays, it has a well-maintained petting mini zoo with happy rabbits, kampong chickens, turtles, peahens (and a peacock), pigeons and doves. Their rented fishing rods are often in high demand to allow the young and old to enjoy the serenity of the seaside while enjoying the twilight in the evening at the water chalets.

Overall above average. water chalet Cons : *facilities quite old. Outdoor wooden walkway/handrail/balcony looks very old. *beach is muddy near the water edge cox it is man-made. Pros: *my daughter likes the mermaids. Swimming n take photos together with them. *Like the rain shower, very good water pressure. *like the sound of the wave during sleeping, and the cock crow during the morning. *like the little farm wit rabits/ chicken/ peacock open free for children *big nice pool for adult. Will visit again when mermaids available.

The resort is an oasis within Port Dickson. Cleanliness is impeccable. The friendliness of the staff is great. The restaurant inside is very good. The price is above the average of the place but we are talking about a 5 star resort with all the comforts. The pools are beautiful and one of the two is reserved only for adults and therefore is quiet.

This hotel is okay. I came in off peak on Thursday. It's nice and it's quiet. The rooms are spacious. The Wi-Fi is really terrible. The problem with the garden chalets is I can hear kids at all hours from my room. I applaud them on having a vegetarian selection on their room service menu but it's not very good to eat. Also, on one occasion, I ordered room service and the person who delivered the food couldn't operate the room billing system so we had to pay cash. All in all, it's okay.

Excellent place but… — Air cond. Too noisy in the chalet. Either you hear the sea waves (and it's too hot to sleep! ) Either you cannot sleep because of the noise of your air conditionning… — The ceiling fan had no variation speeds. Either off, either full speed … and noisy! — Decent breakfast. — Excellent infinity pool for the adults only. No kids jumping or crying! — Staff OK except the ones at the check-in / check-out desk. We had to wait 45 minutes to get our keys ("your room is not ready, please wait 10 minutes… "). It was 4:00pm! — Spa is expensive but superb view above the sea during your foot massage (upstairs). — Wonderful "lounge" with free sandwiches and drinks for the happy fews. Spend the sunset there. A very good retreat 1h30 away from the busy KL.

Love this place! The viewing lounge is superb for the sunset. The staff is wonderfully well-trained. The place has been well kept — not common for Malaysian properties.

Been here six days, four more to go and cannot fault it the staff are very helpful nothing seems to be a bother. Just got back from the Saturday night market further down the beach had some great chicken satay and noodles.

Went during CNY. It was full with children shouting and enjoying themselves in the pool. For a quieter swim, use the adult pool futher up. Overall it was a nice stay.

Took the free shuttle bus provided by Avillion to PD Town, but the bus did not come as promised to pick us back. Had to call Avillion to ask for the bus. When I feedback to the manager, his so called apologies were not the least sincere. Worse still, he said since this is a free service, I should not be expecting too much. Ridiculous, if Avillion is not keen to provide the free shuttle service, then just don't show the shuttle service time so prominently on the TV screen in the lobby. I am very disgusted by the service standards and especially puzzled why such a person without any service attitude can rise up to become a manager. The management ought to review their promotion criteria. Anyway, I will NEVER return or recommend anyone to stay in this kind of place.

Had a very memorable stay at water chalet. Despite its premium price, I expected to get a room facing the sea, but only the VIP chalets have that privilege. Cabin interior is excellent. You can shower and enjoy the sky view, in private of course. The bed and pillows are super comfy. The surrounding ambiance makes you feel relaxed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Good maintenance of facilities and landscape. The main complaint is limited parking spaces and porter unavailable to carry luggage during checkout. To reach the 'extra' parking area, we had to carry our baby across the busy main road in front of the hotel, which is very dangerous. All in all, it's pretty good and a little bit short of being fantastic.

Love this place. I wouldn't rate the service as good, in fact, it has deteriorate a little especially the front desk. The courtesy has to be better. The place is nice though, and I am able to enjoy my trip the way I have envisioned it. The food is good as well.

Your staff, from the security guards, reception, concierge and room service personnel demonstrated professionalism and courtesy throughout our stay. It even went to the extent when one of our guests left behind a watch and your staff that attended to this case was prompt and professional in handling this matter from the initial call to enquire about the missing watch to making arrangements for the repatriation of the watch. To top it off, they took the effort and initiative to personally deliver the watch to her office in Kuala Lumpur. We would like to extend our commendations to your staff (it is a pity we did not get to know their names but we shall endeavor in the future) and would like to thank you and your staff for making our stay very pleasant.
