After 3 weeks of traveling thru Malaysia, I can say without lying that we have seen a lot of locations and had different accommodations (good hostels and, for sure, bad hotels). After that, I have to admit, that this guesthouse made it to the top of the list (the good one of course). Chua is such a nice person, he gave us a friendly welcome, explained us everything we needed to know (where to eat, what to see, how to travel … without his hint we would have never checked if there is a direct bus connection between Melaka and the Airport. That saved us some precious time). The location itself is clean and cozy (visitors have to take there shoes off, fair enough, it's his home). It felt a little bit like home at the minute we entered. They have different rooms, some have their own bath, some have just beds, some with window to the street, some just with indoor windows but all clean and nice. A lot of space to chat with other guests, a huge breakfast table (you can have breakfast whenever you want, and not just from 8 to 10) same for coffee and tea. It's all there, all the time. Beautiful wall paintings and not just simply white, enough comfy furniture to relax after the exhausting walk… After all we regret that we couldn't stay longer. But, if there is a next time, we will stay here again.

Had a very quiet and relaxed stay for 3 nights in a good value for money double room. Chua is an excellent host, made sure to explain the main sights and also helped with other destinations on our trip, always happy to help and answer questions. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, good number of shared showers, toilets and sinks. Enjoyed the wonderfully painted common area with plenty of seating and a kitchen, gets hot even with a couple of fans but jist cooled off in our A/C room. Location is quiet and close to some very good restaurants in Little India (satay and Indian), 10 min walk to the sights. Basic free breakfast of bread, butter, jam and hot drinks — jam not the best but a lot of selection. Very quiet when we stayed but think it would be a very sociable place to stay in busier periods. Thank you for having us, hope to come back one day!

Pretty good, just slow Wi-Fi :) Basic rooms, really, really, really (! ) Clean! And the owner are both so nice and friendly! Stay there, you will have a good time.

If you're in Melaka check this place out! Really cosy and pleasant! And plenty of local restaurants all around the place… Chua will recommend the best one for your taste!

Amazing place! I'ts very very clean! Also one of the cheapest. The owner is so friendly! He gives a lot of usefull infomations! This is a real guesthouse. One of the best I have been!

We stayed for 10 nights in a dbl with ac and bathroom. Perfect. It is THE BEST place we stayed in Malaysia. And cheap! Loved eating breakfast talking to the owners and the other guest. Great info about everything. Super helpful. And clean. After leaving we told everyone we met going to Melaka to go to this place :)
