What a delightful place to stay. We spent a couple of days in Melaka and 5 Heeren was right next to the river and minute away from all the shops, restaurants and bars of Jonkers Walk.

Went here for a quick escape. Booked a Superior Queen with a Smart TV and I was so lucky they upgraded the room to an Executive Deluxe Queen with a Smart TV. Very neat and clean.

Excellent location. The hotel room is cosy and comfortable. However, the bathroom wall has a crack that could use some repair. Soundproofing could be improved as noise travels quite easily.

We did a last-minute check-in with kids, and the service was amazing. The staff handled everything smoothly and were very understanding.

Amazing location, close to the historic parts of the city. Can leave your car at the hotel parking and do most of the sight seeing on foot.

Love it. Feels premium but it's not your typical social hostel. So be mindful of that. If you like peace you can probably stay here for a week and it would be fun.

As hostels go, this is pure luxury. It's a cross between a no hotel and a hostel. The beds are super comfy and the vibe is chill. It's 15 minutes walking distance from everything.

This hotel is a beautiful heritage boutique city hotel located in a very strategic area within Melaka city.

Had a pleasant stay overall despite the building looking a bit old. The Chinese restaurant on Level 4 serves good food and is definitely worth the price.

It was an excellent 2 nights stay in Dec 2025 and while the hotel is starting to show its age, it’s very well kept.
It has a big compound so guests won’t feel crowded and it gives off a chill vibe.

The Casa Del Rio more than lived up to our expectations. It's a beautiful building that felt very old but was built in 2012.

Great history tour! The hotel has a historian-led city tour most days at 10:30a for ~155r that includes a high tea at the hotel afterwards.

We traveled as a family of 9 adults and 3 children, and The Majestic Hotel Malacca exceeded our expectations in every way.

Well what can't you say about Stephen and his accommodation. There are hosts and there are hosts, but this host is on a superior level. A level we, a couple, have never experienced.

Had to wait another hour before our slot for Hahahusky and it was raining. Pop by to have some quick bites and drinks. Staff was friendly and recommended us to go upstairs to enjoy the scenery.

@vspaceguesthousecafe is a nice and strategic stay for backpackers. I Love the Breath Taking view of this Open balcony and greenery cafe as well. Capsule Stay is also interesting one!

Worth every penny, food was delicious, lots of variety, eating area is airconditioned.
Just some flies flying around the place most probably due to the prawns.

Amazing service, food's amazing. I ordered nasi goreng kg and lamb chop for dinner. Very nice, and the price is reasonable. Very near to the beach. Room is nice too.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Birkin International Hotel. The room was comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the breakfast spread was enjoyable with a good variety of choices.
