Malacca Hotels near Porta de Santiago

We had a wonderful stay at Liu Men Hotel. The added amenities they provide for free and gift were all thoughtful and appreciated gestures.

Location is right at the heart of jonker walk. Super convenient.
Rooms are clean and nice, pillows and towel exceptionally good!

I chose this hotel for high rating and prior reviews and that was proven in a minute we arrived at hotel. This hotel kept very old architecture and Peranakan culture like museum.

Went there by myself. 1st floor suite with small balcony. Small car park at the back.
Unusual and unique hotel, very unlike modern hotels. Hence facilities are limited.

Strategic location. Facilities completed. Rooms nice with new look. Atmosphere in the hotel was good. Value for money. After 11pm is quite mood. 😅 the hotel very cozy and comfortable.

We had a pleasant stay at Timez.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is comfortable, spacious and overall clean. We had a good night rest with no surrounding noise.

Rosa Malacca is a small boutique hotel located in town, although it is a little distance from Jonker Street, so you will need a short drive to get there.
Check in was fast and hassle free.

On 9 July, I celebrated my mom’s birthday at Bica & Co, Rosa Malacca Hotel.
A big thank you to Mr Ali from F&B. He helped me a lot to arrange the table and food. He was very kind and cooperative.

We had the most delightful stay at the this hotel for three days. The old world charm, the spacious suite and the quaintness of the structure was very pleasing. The service.

A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Melaka. Lovely building and beautiful landscape. Comfotable and well appointed bedrooms.
Excellent and convenient location to hang around in Jonker Street.

Just a fantastic hotel. Very friendly staff, kind and helpful. It’s about 10 minute walk, just a straight shot west of the hotel’s location to Jonker Street.

The Perfect Eco-Friendly Base for Exploring Malacca (conveniently close to the Masjid Selat Melaka)
I enjoyed my stay at SGI Vacation Club.

It was an excellent 2 nights stay in Dec 2025 and while the hotel is starting to show its age, it’s very well kept.
It has a big compound so guests won’t feel crowded and it gives off a chill vibe.

The Casa Del Rio more than lived up to our expectations. It's a beautiful building that felt very old but was built in 2012.

The location is safe to walk around & easy access. Easy to call grab. The best part the room & toilet is clean.

What a great location! What a lovely staff!

Location-Everywhere is walking distance.
Atmosphere-Authentic with great decorations.
Rooms-Small, cozy, clean, comfortable, no complaints.
Value-Reasonable.

This hotel is a beautiful heritage boutique city hotel located in a very strategic area within Melaka city.

The standard room is spacious and comfortable for my family of three.

This is a superb hotel. Great hospitality, room service, super comfy bed and quiet night throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

We chose to stay at the Malacca Majestic Hotel for our 1st visit to the city as it's a boutique hotel in the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) group that we enjoy staying at.
It was formally a

Beautiful building. Very happy with the room layout and the comfort, with the service, the cleanliness and the drinks and breakfast choice. The location.

We stayed a week in lovely Melaka and fully enjoyed this place to stay.

Well what can't you say about Stephen and his accommodation. There are hosts and there are hosts, but this host is on a superior level. A level we, a couple, have never experienced.

Exceed my expectations! I got the standard twin bed room. Room is clean, well maintained and has all the basic necessities. The common area has a lot of seatings to chill, and the pool is clean too!

This hotel/hostel was to our expectation for price vs quality & experience. *Location* : Great, 3mins away from the Melaka Palace Museum we could see it from our 1st floor room window.

The rooms in hotel Bayview were very spacious, with two queen beds. The general cleanliness was ok and nothing to complain about. Breakfast spread was very nice.

Had a pleasant stay overall despite the building looking a bit old. The Chinese restaurant on Level 4 serves good food and is definitely worth the price.

We're on vacation to Melaka, and this hotel is the most strategical hotel to stay in. You are on the center of attraction in Melaka and you don't have to waste your time finding it. The room is sooo

Amazing location, close to the historic parts of the city. Can leave your car at the hotel parking and do most of the sight seeing on foot.

Great value and location. Welcoming host with lots of helpful information. She also gave me some satay!

It was very nice to stay at this place! Maria is very hospitalibity person who is very caring about your plans and she gives you great reccomandations about places to visit and restaurants to eat!

We really enjoyed our stay at Heeren Palm Suites.

Worth!
Heeren Palm Suites offers the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Everything feels very new, almost as if it has just been refurbished.

Take the deluxe rooms is spacious and has a window. The standard rooms has no windows and is smaller.
If you dislike noise, take room that is not facing the street.
The room is clean.

The room is nice, clean and comfortable. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is a plus point because it is on the Jonkers Street.

Location is best, walk down to pasar malam over the weekend. Cafe/restaurant right below the hotel. Take note that there is no lift, have to climb the stairs to your room.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Melaka, a bit noisy in the evening due to proximity to Jonker street but overall nice stay and easy to explore the night market from here.

Really near if you want to visit the Mahkota Medical Centre. Satisfied with the hot water and room cleaning service. You can go anywhere from here.

Me and my family slept here for 2 days while on vacation,
Hotel room is nice.
Aircon is cold and there is a wall fan also.
The shower is the best.

Such a wonderful hotel that we’re so glad to have discovered in Melaka! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was incredibly informative, welcoming, and helpful.

The hotel overall is really good. The staff there is also really friendly. Help us a lot to make sure everything is ok. There no parking free here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Had a wonderful stay at Hatten Hotel! The environment was relaxing, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable.

Stayed here for four nights and it was an amazing stay. Room was very spacious and clean compared to JB hotels. Aircon was cold but not the coldest too.

We had a wonderful time at Casugria. The rooms are located around a beautiful garden of an old Dutch building, a 10 minute walk from the city centre.

The hotel is close to a giant shopping mall and beautiful sights in walking disastance. The service is good, staff are friendly.

Mari Suites is a really comfy place to stay. The parking area is spacious, and the swimming pool is just the right size, not too big, not too small, n perfect for kids.

Very good location in town. Only walking 10 minute to bandar hilir and jonker street. Room clean, nice swimming pool and friendly staff. Highly Recomended.

This place was beyond my expectations. It is very cosy, bright and spacious, with a great location.
