Stayed a night here in the family suite. Very cozy and comfortable stay. Room was clean, though facilities a little bit run-down, as there were some water leaks in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was good. Loved the overall atmosphere of the hotel — in the lobby, cafe and restaurant — relaxing and calm. Staff was pretty friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Excellent location, enough choice for breakfast, clean rooms but most important of all what a staff. Never have we ever been treated so good in a hotel as here. The duty manager Cecelia helped us out when I was sick and when it was my birthday. We loved her and the overall personal was just as friendly. Would recommend to everyone. And thank you again so much Cecelia!

Nice hotel. Good view of the church. Near to Melaka city centre, travelling around is easy as well.

Second time staying here on business. Comfortable hotel. Clean. Warm beds. Nice breakfast spread. Location is good. Enjoyable.

4-star old building hotel but nice deco inside. Clean and tidy. Bfast is ok and delicious. Bed is comfy and many parking space.

Simple local hotel. Unfortunately, it does not shine with cleanliness (mildew stains in the bathroom, toys (from the predecessor) and thick layer of dust under the sofa. Remote control fully bonded) already something in the years came so the whole impression. Breakfast is in a separate area, unfortunately you did not get a hint from the FO (from when to when and where is the BF) also in the room in the Info folder no indication. Selection corresponds to the local standard as far as breakfast is concerned. Quality can be argued (probably also local standard). Rooms are very generous in size. Pool is available. Small parking Garage (free) as well.

Quite old hotel but still well maintained. Worth staying. Walking distance to good food.

Took 3 hours to clear a room. I had the patience for it, no problem. Room is clean, things are organised. Price per night is cheap. Recommended to stay, but do better on the clearing room.

The hotel has nice large rooms, good beds. Is a 4 star hotel not European standard. I felt comfortable there. The breakfast room looks very holm and is noisy.

Nice place but dont ever eat at food court next to this building. I tred 4 type of menus from 4 stalls. None of them are delicious and price are expensive.

I stayed here as part of an overseas learning programme my secondary school held in 2017. The hotel is generally clean and the rooms are also hygienic. My room had a study table, some seats and a small table, besides single beds and a TV that could access different channels. The toilet was also clean and I did not spot any dirt on the bathtub or sink. The restaurant that I ate at was also hygienic and comfortable. The food served there was also delicious and a lot.

Hotel has nothing to be proud of The swimming pool is dirty, no lounge, no coffee house the Wi-Fi is lousy n still they gave the hotel 4 star rating.

Great hotel to rest and relax. The breakfast was good and offered a variety of choices and the rooms were nice and cozy.

Old hotel but still in good place to stay. Spacious room. Gym n pool not so nice.

A good place to stay wit family on affordable price. Clean and friendly environment. Only issue is, in and out from parking was to narrow. And the x-mas deco at main lobby was superb.

Room cool even off air con. Tap water got one tine turn yellowish. Great efforts to decorate the lobby with beautiful xmas theme. Room big even fir superior room.

The place was nice and clean. But the vibe of the hotel seems a bit dead to me. Not worth the price.

Room was not ready when we arrive. So we decided to do something else while waiting and inform the front desk to contact us when the room is ready. However that call did not come. The room itself is not that fantastic, quite run down. When for breakfast at 10am and did have it because there any left or some was the left over.

I just checked in today. Room is big and bed are comfortable but room is very Dusty. Me and my daughter are sneezing away… My daughter is getting bored caz no cartoon channel… Just we try to fit in … guess what… no hot water… its freezing … what the hell…

Well maintained (it has been around for so many years). Definitely will recommend to anybody who is looking for a hotel stay in Malacca.

When check in, room still not wiping up. Here and there, dust is everywhere. On table, on lamp, on the floor. Blanket got some stain, cockroaches in the floor, there some piece of maggi beside the table. No mirror in the room. But perfect view of sunset and spacious room. Not value for your money unless there are have big sale on the room.

Soo good hotel. At so low price. Spacious rooms and washrooms. Only swimming pool was too small.

A short getaway. Spacious and comfortable. We all love it.

Just imagine this is the old 5 star hotel, the price is cheap during promotion,, hotel is old but still comfortable, big, clean and safe, highly recommend to someone need a comfortable and relaxing hotel with low price tag.

Very big and comfortable room. A lot of shops around the hotel. The foods are delicious.

Value for $, room and toilet is the easily biggest from all the hotel I stay.

Its not the Nikko granted, but its clean and quiet (something I appreciate very much) ; the beds are firm, the decor is minimalist, the shower is small by International standards but I'm not complaining. Grateful to have courteous bell hop and front office, Ms Cecilia and her junior staff. Overall, would come back if visiting Malacca again.

Went there for Karaoke with my wife, another couple and one other lady friend. Apart from ourselves there didn't seem to be others. A bit quiet I would say but no complaints about the service.

The moment I entered the hotel, there was no one to help open the heavy doors of the entrance of the hotel. It is shocking that there was no bellboy. The hotel feels very deserted and lonely. There is no life in the hotel. In addition, the service of the hotel was very bad. For instance, the room service would charge a staggering amount of RM 9.00 for a cup of hot Milo. That is twice the price of the cost of hot Milo sold in an expensive country like Singapore. Moreover, the breakfast and lunch buffets at Bayview Hotel were not really great. The buffets lack variety of food and served the same food every single day. In terms of connectivity, it was the worst. You have to pay to get the horribly slow Wi-Fi username and password. In conclusion, I did not really find the hotel experience exciting at all and it was one of the most boring hotels I had experienced in my life.

Really average hotel with an even lower average of guests staying here. All night we could hear the guests upstairs walking and there was a guy in the hall shouting and making a ruckus late into the night. Will avoid this in future. You're better off paying the extra 10 bucks and staying at the Ramada or Swiss Garden next door.

Pretty good for a last minute stay, a simple yet elegant and great hotel.

Checked out on the 2nd of my 3d 2n! Place was bad… its old! Took the deluxe room. Jacuzzi was not working (motor problem), electrical problems, pillow and bed very uncomfortable, towels were rough and breakfast has not much variety. But manager on duty (Johan) was very helpful and friendly.

I found the suite room was wonderful. Hotel staffs are friendly and cooperative. Intern Nepalese were so helpful. Love the food prepared by the Nepalese chef :)

I experienced a haunting here. The tap water will turn on its own. Curtains opened wide will be flung shut. Then the dark figure with red glowing eyes stood at the end corner of the room. I dashed out of the room and requested to change the room. They gave me a smaller one… this time with a lady with long hair and burnt face.

Its ok, clean. No free Wifi and bathroom drain issues.

After stay for 2 nights, I got a serious eye infection, mc for 2 day because of long deepavli and awal muharram long holiday, I will get 1 week mc. Bed and pillow is okay not that bad. Bathroom is smelly and after take bath can smell some rusty smell on my body. I think this is why I get the eye infection. Location is good easy access to every where. Breakfast buffet is okay but only good for short trip, not much choices.

We booked a superior twin room during cny on 12th feb 2013. The carpet in the room is dirty and stained. The hotel room has not be refurbished for a long time. The aircond is leaking and we had to called the maintenance three times. SOme of the bulbs in the room are not working (i. E. Cannot light up). For the RM290 nett per night we paid for, I definately think is not worth at all.

Hotel is comfort and spacious. The room is clean and the bed can acomodate all my daughter. Great view as I can see clearly the bay side from the room. Easy access for me. Near to Melaka River Cruise (if you wish to walk, else will require you drive about 5minute). Very nice customer support team including the old man guard. Best choice for weekend trip. Will be in my list for next visit.
