Breakfast has so many choice and as early at 6.30 am with Muslim chef. Spacious Room and Gym with nice view, Room is superb, clean and nice deco. I am satisfied during 4 days stay. Will come it again and recommended!

Very nice place to visit got iftar for ramadhan last night. With my family there, the foods so delighted hope will repeated for the next visit InsyaAllah. Thank you my younger brother as well for the treat. Syukur Alhamdullilah.

Affordable and value for money hotel stay. KSL mall is just 5 minutes walking distance away. If you're hungry, you can also head over to the food centre just right behind the hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Will definitely choose this hotel the next time I head to JB.

First time been here, everything was satisfactory. The sky bar, the room, swimming pool, breakfast. Room is big. Little hint of cigarette smell all over the building as they have cigar bar. Receptionist, service staff were all friendly. Will go again for next staycation.

Enjoyed my stay here. The location is great as it's near ksl, Cafes and eating places. Also, the beds are huge and comfy. I would have given it a 5 stars if not for the lingering cigarette smell in the entire hotel. They should do something about it if they want more happy guests.

Service and food were excellent. Staff were prompt in offering assistance and go the extra mile. Common to smell smoke in common areas though.

Very reasonably priced for a last min hotel, and at their newly renovated wing. Highly recommended! Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, pillows are of good quality. Bath area is clean and amenities well stocked. Front desk was nice enough to provide a sea view room on high floor. Great views overlooking the peninsular towards Singapore. Free parking available, just have the counter validate your ticket before you leave.

Price is rather pricey. Rooms are spacious and facilities provided are of satisfactory quality. Hotel location is usually accessible by car.

I'm used to stay here. Facility is all good. Some rooms are getting renovated so it brings additional value to it.

1/ A fire on the first night I arrived took place on floor 11 (Apr 27th 2018). The smoke went to all the floors as we could all smell it. We didn’t know we were having carbon monoxide poisoning until Apr 28th. 2/ If you have a problem in your room that could be your safe not opening or your bathtub plug not working, don’t expect to get help as I asked so many times and tried phoning them too. I first asked at 7pm, they said they would send someone. Then again at 9pm when no one came… then at 10pm… by 11pm, I gave up. 3/ if you take home a towel, an ashtray, a cup etc… the list of prices you see in the room is endless. Clearly, people take everything from them… 4/ the breakfast is good. It’s more like brunch. Good choice, and not bad for vegetarians. They even have laksa. 5/ when I arrived, the receptionist had no idea about my room although I explained it well. She also wasn’t good at providing any info about the nearest shopping mall. I wonder how they are trained? 6/ The swimming pool looks good. 7/ the gym isn’t bad. Overall, it seems that they care more about these novelty items than the safety of guests. If the breakfast was bad, this place would get a 2… the fire really didn’t help!

Johor, Malaysia, new three hotels, affordable RW215 per night. Bathtub hardware is not good, faucet 転 changer lost function, breakfast in general.

My family went to book for a Family Suite at the Grand Hotel Paragon and it was better than expected. The hotel was very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely go there again.

Awesome. The 2-bedroom suite wil definitely drool u over… It's complete for a group of 4/5 people. U even got two (2-seater) couch. Easy to locate as well n not at those super hectic township make it a definitely a good choice.

The best resting place. And luxurious means. But little parking space. Private for long period of stay.

First stay experience is very good, the room is newly renovated very comfortable. There is a swimming pool, there is a sports room, big love.

Convenient location, just a short walk to mall and food. Rooms are decent and spacious but the toilet was ridiculously small. The car park is brightly lighted with security which I like as it makes us feel secure leaving our car there as opposed to some dim and dodgy ones. We left some t — shirts behind and called them about it but the customer service was bad as we never heard back from them. That was rather disappointing considering the overall experience was pleasant.

Old hotel with old facilities. It was advertised as smoke-free facility but the hotel manager said that our room was located in a smoking level (lol). I booked for 2 nights but checked out after the 1st night. Terrible experience.

It is one of the best hotels I found in JB at a reasonable price. Very clean and facilities are sufficient as well. Convenient as it is walking distance to KSL mall.

Slightly tired hotel but in a good location not far from Plaza Pelangi or into KLCC. Renovated deluxe room was good, older standard rooms less so — again a bit tired, but beds are good. Air-conditioning and TV work well. Better than average free Wi-Fi. Swimming pool looks nice but didn't use. Pretty decent breakfast buffet spread, also above average. Quality of welcome should be a lot better at this price. Many staff not on point. However nighttime duty manager very efficient and helpful. Overall good. I'd say great place for large families or groups.

Stayed for a night in 2 bedrooms suite with a nice view. It was spacious and comfy! The swimming poll is a little bit small tho. Breakfast was splendid.

Stayed in a newly upgraded room. Quite nice views but far from foods place and shop. Nice taste of buffet breakfast and very helpful staff.

Hotel room and toilet are spacious. Design and furniture looks new. Free parking provided. Breakfast changes every 2 to 3 days. Meet expectations.

The place is great, cozy, friendly but the room lights are wee bit too dim for my liking. I prefer a brightly lit room with option to dim down when the occasion calls for it. Otherwise, it would be have been a wonderful stay.

Went there for drug talk and found the place to be quite well maintained and clean. Did was quite good.

Stay 2 nights here in Grand Paragon while on family holiday. At first place the reception guy was rude while we were checked in. My husband doesn't really clear by the accent that this guy asking for a 100 ringgit for deposits. So my husband asking him to repeat saying again. But the reception guy raised his voice for like 3 times with a bad gesture. Also when asking a phone number, the same guy did the same. We were just landed in the middle of the night with 2 little boys. …Why this guy has no clue that we were too tired and not welcoming at all.
Second one, the room too damn cold. I can't do nothing with the AC. I was suffering from the allergic. It was all itchy over my body. Stay awake the whole night until my husband turned off the AC. I was fine then after like 6 hours hit by the allergies because of the room temperature. This is very bad.
Third one, the toilet smells like hell. Its septic tank smell I believe. Like when you doing your big business in the toilet. Specially when you flushing the toilet bowl, the toilet will make some big sound around the bath area and you can smell it so bad.
Last one, the concierge guy did the same like the reception guy. He was very rude when we asking if there any shuttle bus to the nearest mall.
Thing I dont understand, why the hotel staff didn't realized that they working for service and products industry. Therefore the manner should be place at number one. At the end I'm not happy staying here.

Comfortable, convenient, clean, accomodative, reasonable, accessible.

Grand paragon used to be my top choice whenever I need to stay a night or two in Jb. Have stayed there around 3 times since 2012 and it was always pleasant. But it was a complete letdown during my previous two stays. Once in 2016. Three of us stayed there for one night. Booked a twin room and asked for an extra bed. The extra bed mattress and pillow was full of smoke smell. That caused me a sleepless night. Most recent stay 7 oct 2017. Booked a non smoking room but the room smelled smoke the whole night despite feedback to the concierge and what they did was sprayed air freshener into the room, which it didn't help. Changing of room was not possible as well due to booking full. Not forgetting to mention the pillows had smoke smell as well. Most problematic of all was the room card. It didn't work whenever I return to the room. Been running up and down the concierge to rectify the room card each time I return to the room. The staff even asked did I place the room card near to mobile phone, and said the room card was sensitive. This is simply assure and unacceptable. I had a bad throat during my most recent stay. Due to whole night of exposure to 2nd hand smoke infused room, my cough worsened the following morning. My job nature depends my voice a lot. I am most kind enough not to ask for any form of compensation but I am damn sure that was my last and final stay at grand paragon.

Good breakfast, clean room with toiletries, cafe at lobby open 24 hours with affordable price.

The atmosphere is quiet n relaxing. Food is mixture of Japanese, Malay, Chinese n Western. The service is good. I like it here.

At first during our arrival at the reception the staff there are not friendly nor accommodating.
We booked This Hotel to spend our Anniversary and My Birthday I did asked them if there's any special token or gift for us? as they Answered us DONT HAVE ANY.
Then its fine.
and Then as I requested a Non smoking room the've asked as if we are fine to smoking room? bcoz most of there Non smoking room are single Beds.
So we ended up to a room with 2 single Beds even we are couple.
But Then the room still smell smokey.
There Wi-Fi provided inside the room are Really poor connection. Breakfast are just fine as well.
Though we enjoyed in there swimming Pool.
the Spa massage we been pooled as we given 10Rm voucher so we thought it was a discount voucher thats why we availed but Then the voucher on there price was already included on the discount

Near the Shopping Mall. There is a good seafood restaurant nearby. Very rush during weekends. Good hotel for money.

Found the reviews misleading as my family was disappointed with the hotel standards. Kettle was spoilt, TV remote was spoilt, bath tub was dirty plus oily so I could not bath my 10 month old baby in it. No cotton wool provided which is usually a given basic in most 4 star hotels. The whole place smells of cigarette smoke, which is definitely unhealthy for children. At breakfast, we were pissed off and appalled to find out that smoking was allowed in an AIRCON area. Some inconsiderate people actually lighted up near us when it was obvious we had a baby. We immediately cut our breakfast short — even though we paid extra for it and left. Spa experience was horrid with no professionalism. The masseuse kept making stupid remarks, went out to have a drink of water, and kept walking out to check if the time is up. At the end, she didn't even let me have the privacy to put on my clothes in peace and even hinted blatantly for tips by pointing at my clutch and saying "banyak duit" (a lot of money in Malay). To be fair, breakfast was good thus the 2 stars but I will NEVER choose to stay here again and do not recommend this place to anyone.

Food is very nice both the buffet and from the menu. The staff are very polite and helpful. The smoking rooms are stuffy and airless but the aircon helps and the hotel provides ionising machines to clean the air. The shower had black mildew growing on the walls but After a good clean it was ok. House keeping do a good job of tidying the rooms and the laundry is okay. The gym has modern electric running machines but the battery operated ones are poorly maintained and have been worn out. The pool is small but clean. The hotel has a business center on the ground floor and acceptable Wi-Fi in all rooms. Skype calls are possible. Over all a good safe hotel with security providing good value for money. Central to all modern shopping malls and lots of places to eat. I can recommend it for short to medium stays.

Breakfast complete enough. Cozy restaurant. Nice gym. But swim pool is small and sauna take long time for desire temp.

Good hotel, bathroom a bit dark and the wall is dirty, with moss can be easily removed with finger, cracked ceiling paint and water drainage not functioning properly as the water will flood the shower. Ambience of the hallway dark and dull. Sand and broken porcelain on the carpet at the elevator lobby.

I went for meeting at there, food was nice, but not so much variety, need improved. Service not bad.

Poor room house keeping, cups sms glasses are not washed clean enough. Bed and pillow cover are not change daily. Internet no rj45 plug, only Wi-Fi which setup poorly and very slow during day and night. Only very early morning internet can get a proper speed if you can get good Wi-Fi connection.
