Worth it. parking free staff is helpfull indoor swimming pool… awesome.

Regular guest at yhis hotel. Great value. Suits me fine as a business traveller. Has pretty decent Wi-Fi in the room. Also 24 hour room service. Meets my needs to have work done through internet.

For a rm155, the room is quite big. Nice pool for kids. A lot of parking space on level 3 — 7.

Hotel was very accomodating. Staff working there were very friendly and professional. The rooms are considerably spacious, clean and comfy, though the interior looks a bit oudated. But that doesnt bother me anyway! Definitely Value for Money.

It's an old building. Staff are very nice and friendly. The main lobby and dining area are nice as well as the rooms. Only thing is they have not renovated the bathrooms (our one anyway) looks old and mouldy. Did not get the chance to use the pool. Looked nice though.

A 5 stars hotel that is overdue for a makeover. Breakfast (inclusive) is quite ordinary with a fairly good spread of local fares. Location is within a short distant from some vibrant nightspot.

Nice and spacious hotel room which we loved! The counter reception staffs were very friendly! But some foods for breakfast were cold, not hot which needed some improvements…

Good service good food. Air-conditioning was a bit cold even at 30°c and lowest fan speed. Room clock was also slightly faster but no big deal as it can be rectified by calling the front desk.

After we had a day in singapore, we spent a night to this hotel tp continued our travelling to malaysia. It is not really pricey when you travel with a big group. It has a big river view from above 20th floor. I dont recommend you if you want a modern room facilities bcs my room facilities are quite conventional than currently modern hotel has. I dont know whether it has a superior room.

Food is ok, room was quite dusty, and no floor towel. I noticed they didn't change the bedsheet which for me is terrible. No iron provided inside the room, no extra pillow. In my opinion a good housekeeping is important for a hotel!

The room is spacious and have very nice view. The receptionist is very friendly. The breakfast is good and offer a lot of choices. The bed is large and very satisfying.

Very surprising array. We had not had lunch and came straight to the hotel… the tea time was simply so good… the roti jala and chicken curry was tasty and tthere were so many roti jalas. Two people can eat easily. Then the pisang goreng came with a black suace. Lovely combo… was not heated… it was made on order… but did not have to wait long. The tea and coffee were good as well. I had the tea and found it had the right amount of sugar. My husband liked the coffee too. And the price was reasonable.

Oh wow! I remembered it being really a great place, cheap and very conveniently located. Always stay here for business purposes. Then I checked on Google map and found out that my last visit was 5 years ago. Horror! Huge disappointment. This place is so old and under maintainance. They really need renovations done. SOON! My husband wanted to change hotel. But I insisted to stay because of nostalgic reason and the staffs are great. She upgraded our room to city view because we checked in late and they run out of big beds and non smoking room. View is Great, but the room condition is bad. Bed is firm, but only 2 old pillows. And you better don't look inside the pillow case. Lots of stains. The bedsheets felt old. And the covers, they still uses those brown blankets. Omggg I think more than 20yrs old. Room smell of smoke. Eventhought we ask for a non smoking room. The hair dryer' s socket is hooked up to a light switch (see photo) Fire hazard! I guess this will be my last stay.

Good service and I like the breakfast menu. There's a booth where you can find a traditional food from malaysia at breakfast, and they always change the traditional menu everyday. This hotel also have a place to iron your clothes near your room, so you don't need to worry if your clothes are rumpled.

Location is quite convient fr JB custom. Room has renovated. Service not too bad.

Good staying but the lift … not good enough. I need wait 10 to 15min every time that I want go for breakfast or dinner.

This is another half century old hotel. Plenty of shopping… local food store. Entertainment n a Spa in the hotel. Value for money.

This hotel is value for money for me, l like the bath tub in this hote. Not the best but value for money again. Bf moderate. This is a old hotel but reasonably maintained. The lif is bit slow though but there with little wait.

Its a nice and wonderful place for foods and parking car also for staying and safe whenever u visit u can git any tyoes of foods I like it too much also in the mid night looking like shining stars and crwidy place also good for family.

Old Building Big Room but the door not sound proof, quite noisy especially during weekend. The City View Room is recommended. Food: local cuisine Value for money.

Been here many time. Social meeting, seminars, night club at b1. Located on a vrry nice n busy street with lots of eateries n car wash. Safe area too.

Attended wedding dinner at NY Hotel. Service and stage we're okay. Stayed overnight, and lifts were slow, rooms were old but still stay-able for the price I'm paying. But there are better newer hotels nearby at just slightly higher cost. Good luck.

It was a nice hotel. Location is not too hard to reach and the services were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Booked deluxe premium room (supposedly as shown in first pic) but they gave us a room resembling standard deluxe room. Went down to the lobby to question them. First the study table which we really needed was not the L shaped as shown in picture. We simply had a small one attached to the wall. They gave us a bunch of reasons how the study table was spoilt and lamp was too (which was why it wasn’t in the room). They also said the picture was their smoking rooms and ours was a non-smoking room. Also the rooms were 2 single beds when it was supposed to be twins. Clearly there is a difference, but they insisted there was not. Absolutely terrible service.

Place is quite nice I must say. Staff are so considerate and really helpful in any problems you have. They have a tub though! Remember to buy your bath bomb! ;) ) or just dump in all your soap in and make bubbles! I hope you have a great experience!

I have been to the hotel few times, few years back. I find the management have updated the premis. My view, they need more improvement from the toilet washing pipe is not fixed, television is still in old set plus the picture not clear to view with some noisy sounds. If some simple upgrading is done for the convinent of the guest, it will be fantastic.

Went here for a seminar. Buffet lunch was very impressed. Lots of selection. Meals provided were delicious. Absolutely to come here again for the lunch in the future.

Good service. Location is accessible to few malls in the area. Clean room and beddings. We will surely book in this hotel again. Thank you for the free room upgrade. Appreciate it a lot.

The carpet is old and not clean, the bed is less spring for us to sleep, low class bed and pillow, rooms are poor maintenance. The bathroom and washer are old. No kettle and tea spoon even we requested. Poor service. The gym and pools are poor maintenance, lots of gym equipment are broken. Air conditioning is too cool and could not be adjusted. For sure… will not stay there anymore.

Its a good hotel. By pls extend time for my kids play at the swimming pool. I travel long way from kl. But we arrived late. And cannot to swim.

The room was so huge for 2 persons… The price for 1 night is affordable… I shall recommend to my families & frends… Shall come again for short gateway…

An old hotel some facilities are ages. But the food for my lunch today are delicious… Love roti jala with curry The location are near to the city center.

Room was so-so. It's huge for the price of the room but bedsheets have visible stains and when I check In, there's leftover urine on the toilet seat. There's also many strands of hair at the bath tub. Clearly they didn't clean the room before handing over to new customers. But what you pay is what you get. You have 2 bottles of mineral water provided free of charge. There's kettle so you can boil water. Overall, hotel is a bit old and the lift is a bit slow and needs maintenance. But this is a good place for a quick and cheap stayover.

The location is very good. All amenities.

The hotel was a little dated. The lift seemed like it needed an immediate attention to it. The bathroom is a little bit dated, light fixtures and carpet could use a change. On the other hand, the room was spacious and changes needed to their rooms are only cosmetic. I've got a nice view of JB and even Singapore from my level 18 room. All in all it was a pleasant stay, with a free breakfast that wasn't too bad either.

Internet connection slow, lift moving slow, air condition too Cold but cannot lower down the air condition temperature as the remote setting not functioning, after make a complain I was informed the air condition temperature is not adjustable, I have to close down the air condition if too cold, the air condition remote is just for fun? what a lame hotel. Extremely not recommended and will not come again.

Dirty and expensive as compared to the others.

Stay here for work. Love the location and there is plenty of food options at night opposite the hotel.

Lousy piece of crap for a hotel. The elevator is so NOT efficient. The room smells like a smoking lounge. The bath room has that cheap motels feel. TV is still CRT and has only few channels. No movies. Towels is hard as sand paper. Totally not worth the price.

What can I say? If you first time came to johor bharu have vacation. You can have some problem to understand the road.

Poor maintenance lift service. No Wi-Fi inside the room even router just outside of it. Power supply socket far from bed.
