Lovely location on a hill overlooking the sea.
peaceful and calm, with Yoga, swim off the beach or kayak, lovely staff, very friendly and helpful, Amazing food in beach front restaurant.

It was a wonderful stay and a peaceful experience. Truly a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of any city. The room is comfortable, the staff are friendly and facilities are adequate. Didn't get a chance to try the Yoga classes but YOU MUST star gaze when you are there. My only suggestion to the staff is to improve on the quality of the meal. The breakfast provided is underwhelming. all and all, awesome place to stay when you're in Kudat.

A scenic location in a friendly town of Kudat. The staffs were very helpful and attentive, great service. The site is well maintained, good place to relax and chill, very green and many friendly animals. The stunning sunrise is not to be missed. Walking distance to the beautiful beach, where you can see lots of amazing sea creatures and corals during low tide. I enjoyed my stay and will recommend to every nature lover.

It's a very serene and peaceful place. So close to the nature. I like the idea of being eco. Our stay is wonderful despite heavy downpour non-stop. It would be more amazing if the weather is nice. The owner Mr. Nathan and his team are very welcoming and being so helpful. The design of the hut is special. I also had a very good yoga session experience with Ms. Jenny. Too bad it was raining so heavily that we couldn't go to the Pantai Bak-Bak. Overall is a nice and wonderful stay.

Very rustic. Eco conscious. No toilet paper. Surrounded by nature. Resident turkey acts as your breakfast call. Mozzies, that's why the nets are there. Generally well kept. No Wi-Fi or 4G in huts. Better bring reading material.

Great little yoga retreat if a little pricey. It's right by the sea and some great beaches. Rooms are pretty good but the doors are a bit of a pain (they don't shut easy). The place has Aircon but it's an eco lodge so there's no plastics and no toilet paper for the toilets. Good spot, worth a visit.

Great little place. Amazing views of the ocean and for sunrise. The huts are amazing with aircon and fan. Bed is really comfy. Bathroom is awesome with hot water. The provided bicycles are nice although some didn't work or had issues with them. Gym equipment is great. The staff are amazing ready to help with anything and can book you hire cars and scooters. The attached restaurant is really tasty and fast service. Breakfast is really good. Both the Asian and western breakfast options are delicious. There's nothing else within walking distance in terms of restaurants or a supermarket but it's an easy and fast drive to the town. Hainan chicken and Chicago bar and grill are cheap and delicious options.

Best place to stay when you want to experience the Rungus type room. Walking distance to Bak Bak beach. All rooms facing the beach. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise. Great guest services. Breakfast included with the choice of local food or western choices.

5 star equivalent accommodation. Great place to detoxify ur mind from all the hustle and bustle of city life. Environmental friendly facilities that are well maintained. Scenery from the huts are exceptional.

Pros: Fantastic Seaview. Super clean bathroom. Back to the nature design. Cons: Only one restaurant, outcast location must have own transportation. Toilet is build with Bio-Toilet (cannot through in tissue).

Peace and quiet, you will wake up each day breathing in the fresh air surrounded by verdant greenery. Place that were remote and hidden have been finding their way into the eyes of the world. Great place to embrace nature. Friendly staff. Nice concept. Good food. Unique place.

I highly recommend 9 huts for a blissed out stay. The design is unimposing, local-style luxury. The staff are wonderful and looked after me so well over 4 days!

Love it! Good to be here with my family. Back to nature. My daughter get the chance to learn more and appreciate nature. We have all at 9hut, the sea, the jungle, the sunrise, the hill. Its all in the package. We love the staff. They did a very good job. Brovo guys! 5 star for ur good service. What touch my heart was, during BBQ dinner, 2 of the lady staff said good bye to us as their shift has ended. They we already their car and going off. Then suddenly a strong wind and rain comes in. They reverse their car n come down to help us moved our bbq things to a dry place with the other 9hut staff. I really appreciate it so much. We will come back to 9 huts thats for sure!

Found this place through Vain Moo Photography Facebook Page. Decided to try and made the last minute booking (we're from KK). A breathtaking view I must say. The place is beautiful. The chalet is 5 star in my honest opinion. Seaview from the room, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, beautiful room! Heaven for astro photography, yoga practitioner and anyone who wants to escape from busy city life. Plenty of birds and other nocturnal wildlife animals. The owner has done excellent job making the place a piece of heaven on earth. Will come back for sure! Perfect for: honeymoon, family vacation, astro photography, yoga practitioner, birdie, outdoor.
