The welcome and warm already the room I like class.

Dirty pillow case and dirty bedsheets. It seems that they did not change the under linnen. A lots of dust everywhere in the room. So dissapointed. The worst ever Hilton I ever checked in😡

The manger was very rude yelled at us our whole visit he was very rude. I booked 3 rooms next to each other none of them where next to each other. One of my rooms had cigarettes all over the room and cigarette ashes we were told on the first day of checkin that they would come clean it they never came than the next day I went down stairs to tell them again they said they send someone right away they never came again called to speak to the manger they said they would be right up still never came. We also booked this hotel so I could take my kids swimming you only get 30 mins swim time for your whole stay. All around they where rude and dirty.

Delicious food and good staff…

Very poor service from staff. Worst though — that waiter took ice cubes from a wine cooler — with his hands. In the reception they know nothing. At the breakfast the waiters cleared the table, while you were up and pick up food in the Buffen and so one. Not a hotel I will go back to.

Had such an amazing time here the service was outstanding and food was amazing super comfy beds and in a very quiet location next to the forest — not far from Kirch mountains. I will most definitely stay here again it was very relaxing and peaceful.

Enjoyed our stay-at Doubletree by Hilton in Luxembourg, easy to get to on the bus short walk at the end, public transport is reasonably priced and very good. We were offered a special upgrade which we paid a reasonable price for although the promised robes never turned up. Swimming pool and gym were great. Staff were extremely helpful.

Overall a nice hotel, stay here often. Today we went to get breakfast at 10.20 (we were told it was available until 10.30) but staff was not very friendly and helpful. There was no way we could order an omelet, we were told to get some of the left overs from the buffet. Dried out scrambled eggs, nothing left at the bread section or charcuterie. Luckily that the tasty birchermuesli wasn't taken off yet. This was all in the time that the buffet normally should still be available. Sadly it was a bit of an off start of the day.

Very nice hotel. Big rooms, cozy, very clean… excellent food (had dinner and breakfast). The only minus is the location — a bit far from the city centre, but accessible by public transport (or taxi, but that's a very expensive option).

Superb breakfast. Quite far from the city but the prices are so good because of that. The bus leaves you right in front of the door (you can take it anywhere in the city). They gave us a free cookie in the check-in!

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views when looking out the window. The neighborhood is quiet which allows for very relaxed experiences. For me, the pillows where way too soft and they do charge extra for better ones. The biggest disappointment was that ben hotel felt understaffed. There were often long lines at the service desk for checking in and out because of only one or two service employees. Asking for advice on the neighborhood, reservations at nearby restaurants or anything else is handled in a very hasty manner and made me feel it that was their quickest answer rather than their best options. This really is not what I expected from a high end hotel like this. All in all we had a good time. Just make sure you don't need any help from the hotel and you'll be fine.

When you select HILTON, you expect a certain level of quality: suite is ok in terms of size but in reality old fashion and not very clean (bad smell in the bathroom, impossible to take a bath), the buffet on Friday evening was a pity and I saw lots of half-full plates at other tables. No one responded to our request to have 2 bath robes included in the price. In total, we paid 550€ for 1 night with 4 people. Check out not well organized. Never come back, sorry.

Slightly out of town with free shuttle into city center. Lots of free parking. Pool is a nice touch. Slow front desk and check in but as room wasn't ready they upgraded for the trouble. Very nice staff. Breakfast buffet was ways to be seated before 9, from then a line formed waiting on free tables.

Delicious rhubarb pie, I recommend.

A lot of nature, but far from the center, the entrance to the hotel itself is not particularly picturesque. Slippers are not in the room, the minibar is not thickly filled.

Nice hotel. Outside the city, easily accessible in a taxi from the airport Didn't have much time there. It was a little disturbing that the colour of the bath water was brown!

Wonderful hotel, great service and friendly staff. The thing keeping me from 5-starring it is mostly personal: getting to the city centre by foot is quite the journey (45 minutes) with not much in between, save for a pretty park. Still worth every penny and more!

Located 10 minutes from the city centre ideally placed! The morning and evening buffets are at the top.

Really easy to get to. Free parking. Great service. Fantastic cookies on arrival. But the rooms are a bit old to be honest and sadly toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided. However it’s a convenient and quiet place to stay if you have a car. But I still haven’t been awarded my HH Points even a week after staying here …

Great hotel to Stay. Its a bit out of the city but has quality and the prices are great for Luxembourg if you think about the quality. There's a pool, fitness center, conference rooms. The restaurant is amazing and has a good menu. Free parking and táxis right on the door to take you to the center whenever you want. The bus its just down the road. Recomended for sure.

The hotel works/groups in all its splendor with its advantages and disadvantages: A very good reception, rooms without bad surprises (nor good), and small point very positive: the hot cookie offered at the time of check in.
On the other hand a good atmosphere of factory and a breakfast more than average, without local products, jars of jam not labeled, a buffet in U not accessible, in short a very breakfast fro.

The room was very clean. Since swimming pool is large enough, unfortunately is not paid attention to rest periods and pool rules, a pity. The breakfast buffet is great. Parking is not a problem and it is easy to get to Luxembourg City from there. The language skills of the staff are also noteworthy.

Very correct if you go to the Bchina Embassy and surrounding forests.

Definitely not worth the price. Breakfast very well selected and clearly arranged. The rooms are OK. Bathroom without vanity mirror and outlet… Hair blow-drying will be an experience here as only a few sockets are available.

Everything you would expect from a large hotel chain. We were upgraded to a suite which gave a seating area in the room. The bed was huge and comfortable. The evening menu was expensive and there was a queue for the restaurant. Breakfast was self service and the choice excellent. The staff were helpful but it was all a bit impersonal.

If you are looking for a hotel in Luxembourg that has a quiet setting in a forest then DoubleTree Luxembourg is your hotel. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport and provides a free shuttle service. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the city centre by car however there are local buses as well and the hotel also provide a shuttle service to the city centre during weekends. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar on the lobby level and provides 24 hour room service. The rooms are big and modern but some of the furniture are a little dated and in need of an update. The bathrooms are small but well planned. Whilst there are few power sockets around the bed there are USB sockets for charging your phone. There are nice views from the rooms as they overlook the forest surrounding the hotel. All rooms have safes and minibars as well as plenty of storage space. There is a pool and sauna in the basement as well as a small fitness centre with both machines and equipment. Overall a good hotel with easy access to both the city and the airport.

If I can give this hotel 10 I will not give it enough. From the time you walk in the staff is well dressed and spoken the room is lovely every thing is wicked. This will be my future hotel in Luxembourg from now on.

A bit far away from the center but hotel is good.

My family and I took a long weekend trip to beautiful Luxembourg over our Presidents Day weekend. We have been members of Hilton H-Honors for a while, so we decided to stick to their chain of hotels. Sadly, we were disappointed at the quality of this Hilton owned hotel. The “Superior King” room we reserved was “upgraded” to a “King Deluxe ”, which still had a Euro King bed and at the end of the stay they tried to charge us for this “free upgrade” that we didn’t book. Luckily they dropped this additional cost after a short dispute. (A few other guest seemed to be having the same problems we noticed as we were leaving… is this some kind of scam to see if we are paying attention to our final bill? ) The hotel restaurant was way over priced for the quality of food they offered. The breakfast and dinner buffets were about $30 a person, very bland and didn’t offer a good variety of dishes that were delicious. Nothing made me want to go back for seconds… if I even ventured to put it on my plate at all. Additionally, the menu items were over priced for mediocre food. The burger meal alone was over $30! That is just too much for “bar food”. Two small cups coffee to-go was $12! (And we are Gold Members… at Marriott coffee is FREE! ) We did find some good options out in town, but no thanks to their “Local Guide”. We had to rely on Google for any assistance with that. Staff was decently friendly and treated us well, but not over the top. The room was clean and a decent size.

All in all a decent hotel. It has 19 floors but a quick lift to which you never had to wait long. Good parking facilities. Small swabs for the opening hours of the swimming pool and the sauna (closed in the afternoon) and the breakfast times. 06:30 am was already too late and they tend to be five minutes later than too soon. Also the reception staff could be a little better informed. On my question whether the bus stop was postponed because of a current construction site, the disbelief was negated, which was then ultimately the case. The bus then drove more than 200m away from the actual stop.

Nice hotel, but a bit secluded. Yes it is only 10min by car to the Centrum but walking a very steep mountain down and then up again.

Some of the nicest staff; very willing to go out of their way to be helpful. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Parking was easy.

The stay is pleasant and the Rssen tastes good in some cases. The rooms are a little dated and on the Windows it attracts (with several rooms), which is particularly uncomfortable in the winter.

Nice hotel on the hill in lush greenery. Area outside but not too far from the city of Luxembourg. Many services in the hotel. Great experience.

We picked this place because it had an indoor pool, unfortunately the pool is so cold that half the group would t go in and the others started turning blue after 15 mins. Wifi was terrible for everyone, we gave up and went back to cellular service. Rooms keeps kept losing their settings requiring trips to front desk. We are staying in the Parc hotel around the corner on our way back, staff friendly but I don't recommend this hotel and will not be staying again.

A nice hotel just outside of Luxembourg city. A great bar and restaurant in the lobby area. Also very close drive to the war cemetery.

Professional welcome and nice room, but dinner buffet was very poor and hot dishes were cold. Same for breakfast. Wifi, mmm, almost nothing. Not used to get this kind of service from a Hilton Hotel.

Great welcome at the airport from the driver and went out of their way to arrange a return shuttle outside of normal hours. Staff were amazing with my daughter and there is a bus (free at weekends) from just down the road to the city centre! Only downfall was dinner, the buffet was not that great. Breakfast, however, was lovely and so much choice. Rooms are a good size and the hotel swapped pillows for us easily x.

Great hotel, attentive staff, good food in the restaurant. Rooms have a modern looks, and beds we're very conferrable. Only issue I had was service being a bit slow in the restaurant, but that was due to it being so busy.

Amazing hotel! Free cookie when checking in, clean comfortable modern rooms, and amazing selection for breakfast. The pool is also a lovely touch after a day in Luxembourg. Its located a little far from the city center, but a simple bus ride takes you to and from really easily, with a bus stop right outside the door! For the price you pay its certainly the best value for money in Luxembourg City!

Bit dated decor and surrounded by high rise apartment blocks. There is nothing to see in the near neighborhood. Hotel itself has great staff and a comfortable bed. Slept well.

Beautiful, elegant, romantic. All the things you come to expect from Luxembourg. When you check in they greet you a warm cookie. The lobby is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. They have a shuttle to take you to the city center or there is a public bus that has a stop close by and runs 24 hours. The shower was soooo wonderful. The toiletries are luxurious. Really, this is a nice place to stay. It is your typical US upper class style. I have nothing negative to say. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is definitely not a hotel after Hilton standard! Just a simple normal hotel. Nothing special! We would definitely not come back here. Waste of money and time having to stay here.

Hotel is quite some distance from the city center. You have to book the shuttle (despite the fact the webpage states it's a scheduled bus).

Wonderful staff and clean rooms. I'm only a blue member, but I felt like I was treated with the same respect as my friends, who are Silver, or is it Gold members. The pool is a bit small when all the kiddies get in, but it was still very nice. A hot-tub would have been the perfect cap to a perfect weekend in Luxembourg. — Bus service is just a short walk (about 2 city blocks) from the hotel. And. Ask about the Night Bus service, the rates are extremely reasonable, especially if you are a large group.

When looking for a hotel in Luxembourg city in the last week of August, it surprised us that the newly renovated, 5 * Hilton hotel was one of the cheaper options available. This probably has much to do with its location, which is up on a quiet hill overlooking the gorgeous forests surrounding it, but a 20-minute drive by bus or car to the city centre. Knowing this beforehand and also knowing the busstop is basically in front of the hotel we had no reservations about booking, and we are truly happy with the choice we made. It's by far the best hotel room I've ever had in Europe, and that for only 55 per room per night! The reception staff is very kind and helpfull and speaks English very well. The small sauna's (M/F separated) and swimming pool were included in the room price, which, though not especially luxurious, proved to be an ideal and relaxing end of each day of travelling. Though the exterior of the hotel looks dated the inside is absolutely stunning. Highly recommended.

This is a really good place to stay. The quality of the rooms, facilities and service level is way above good.

Doubletree Luxembourg offers great value for money. The hotel itself is excellent, all facilities have a modern design. It has a fantastic health club with a lovely pool and sauna. Free Wi-Fi.

The hotel is from the 70's and it looks also. I'm not talking about the old CRT TVs, but: old and familiar from the baths, the wallpapers, all beyond the pale for a 4 star hotel.
Only: the staff is very nice and accommodating. You know the age of the equipment. From January 2012 to be renovated. Then hopefully on Hilton standard.
