Avoid this Hotel

This is the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Period.
I initially booked and paid over Booking. Com. I was then sent a confirmation link from the hotel to register on an external site and then provide them directly with my credit card for a deposit. Red Flag number 1. They then sent an email with the details on how to enter the hotel (it is unstaffed and everything is accessed through pin codes).

Upon arriving at the Hotel we found a homeless person sleeping in the supposedly safe and locked entryway (pictures will be provided) right underneath where we have to enter the codes — so already it doesnt feel safe. Then the pincodes they provided in the email sent dont include the code for the front door. Luckily I was able to access the external website the made us register and there the pin code was included.

The hallways of the Hotel smelled strongly of Marijuana, but I cant fault the Hotel for not controlling the smell — how could they if there are no employees on site. When arriving at the hotel room we discoved that the lockbox code provided in the website was not correct. Luckily the one in the email worked. Upon entering the Hotel it was immedially clear that the cleaning service used is subpar and the general condition of the room (304) was not as advertised.
