We had such a blast this weekend. Big Ups to Afriski and their staff. A special thanks to Hope for the training and awesome service and Mr G for always keeping the glasses full! Great accommodation at the Vail Block and great fun on the slopes, with a few bruises 🤣

The people are awesome. The place is awesome. Accommodation warm and fully equipped… staff service excellent with good business etiquette. Go all the way to fulfill the visitor's needs. We want to make it our second home.

Games in the snow. Very admirable.

The place benefits from a superb landscape and scenery. They boast of a very beautiful bar/pub, affectionately dubbed the highest in Africa.

Pathetic service! Totally unprepared for visitors. No petrol gor quads — you kidding right. No gas for paintball guns — say what! No pizza, desite that being 25 % of the menu. No sugar free drinks, go figure. They may as well have been closed for the day. No manager on site! Explains why everything in disarray. So unless there is snow, dont bother. What a disappointment.

My husband and myself have been visiting Afriski for the last ten years or so, and can honestly say every time we go back we love it even more! The staff this time round was amazing, specifically with our kids. We have not had personalized service like this in a long time. Food all round very good and the owners are very obviously putting plenty back into the resort, because every time we go they have expanded in one way or another. Kids ski instructors top class, kids are still missing them and talking about them Thanks for a memorable week.

We loved our visit, great skiing, delicious food. Enough choices and the staff are willing to prepare delicious curry at your request. The rooms in Vail were cold but comfortable. Perfect rental equipemant. Our only negative that left a bad taste, was that we were given a local Lesotho" Loti 10 note" instead of a SA R50 note in change, at the Gondola Pub/Cafe! Apparently, this is a regular occurence whereby unsuspecting guests are conned out of SA R40. Be carefull!

Best resort in Lesotho. However this can not be compared to a Austria or Switzerland resort, but well done to the owner who did the best with what he has. Don't go late August as the snow starts to melt. A beautiful trip on the way. Its a must do if you are in Lesotho during May-August.

Our visit at the resort was great. We stayed at the Whistler Camp. Friendly staff. Room had necessities, except for a microwave. The Sky restaurant food was great, enjoyed the ribs and beers. Gondola Bar has great gourmet burgers. The skiing experience was amazing. We met great people. Disappointed that we didn't get to experience snow fall. A place for adventure seekers.

We had an incredible time at afriski! They have done an amazing job at creating an authentic ski culture. The team and staff are super jacked, they have great programmed and events and even the booking system is great! Our skiing instructors rocked and the personal touches like an sms with reminders were helpful! Will definitely be going back!

Our family of 5 visited Afriski for the 3rd time this year during the July school holidays. We stayed with friends in one of the villas. As always the skiing was good fun. Changes were made to the slopes and we all found that it added to the experience with a longer and more challenging main slope and an expanded ski park for the more adventurous. A special mention must go to the ski school coaches and Pudi staff that trained the kids with such enthusiasm. However the following was dissappointing as oppose to previous visits. The prices of food and drinks increased dramatically from two years back although the standard is still good. The ski lift operators were on their phones 24/7 with very little regard for kids and new skiers struggling to get into the lifts which was a bit frustrating and held up the queue. The staff that assisted us at ski rental was rude and one tried to hire us kit off the record at a discount for his personal gain. The stay in the villa was great and we slept 10 comfortably. It had all the necessary amenities and daily housekeeping. We recommend that you plan for simple dishes.

It's a wonderful experience. Activities are very expensive. Vibrant Staff members, very friendly, welcoming and well trained. Long amazing drive to get there. I can't express the views enough, I'll leave it to one to just go and be breath taken. I am definitely coming back and will recommend to everyone. Simply amazing.

Awesome experience. Very cold… but fine if you dress up correctly and adds to the experience… all indoor areas are heated. Loved the monster bike ride and nature walk. The restaurant is good. Some items weren't available. Sometimes better and to order off the menu. E. G. Toasted sandwiches and English Breakfast.

Terrible experience. Arrived to a closed restaurant with nowhere to get even a drink let alone food after 12 hours of driving. Was about 5 degrees C and no hot water, no heating, no gas for the fire and the shower plug blocked so flooded all over the floor. Nobody at reception to help us, just a number to call but no service as was up a mountain. Wi-Fi is apparently available but impossible to connect too so don't even bother trying. Left first thing in the morning. Wouldnt recommended or go back.

Absolutely suberb! I loved Afriski for their super service, from reception right through to the Sky Restaurant, where the food was delicious. Do try their Lesotho trout!

Wil come back in the winter for some African skiing. Lesotho is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. (The accommodation is very basic but the food is good)

Loved my time at Afriski as I was a novice and had never been to ski before it was simply magical. We were lucky enough to be graced with freash snow which made everything all the more exciting. That being said I feel if one had much experience at skiing it may get a bit boring as there isn't much variety in the slopes and they are basic. A really perfect place to train however if you don't want to go overseas with no experience. Overall I loved it and have booked to go again.

Afriski is a magical place, with amazing staff, an awesome restaurant with great food, spectacular scenery, cozy log cabins and much much more! I cannot fully describe the very special time we had here! Thank you so much Afriski! Now we have to come back in Winter for some snowboarding!

I had the pleasure of spending my birthday at the resort last year. The team there managed to meet my expectations and exceed them. They were so friendly and the warmth they gave me and my family made us forget about the biting cold. You can ski at night, have a lovely dinner during the evening and party in the night time at the Gondola. I cannot begin to express how amazing my time there was.

Best holiday destination in Lesotho. Very cool in Summer and extremely cold in Winter. The resort has outdoor activities for both summer and winter. You can bring your kids, friends and family. You don't need to buy skiing gear as they rent it out to the public.

I have never been let down once on my many visits to this amazing place, friendly staff, great food, and the trails are the closest thing we can get to Europe/US park style riding here. There's something magical about the mountains and I guarantee you'll leave with a heavy heart, wanting more time there. Highly highly, like 3222m highly, recommended.

Never been before and we where a bit worried The drive in didn't show much but once we got to the resort we where blown away — we've been staying and coucheval and it's been fantastic — clean, charming and very comfortable. So far we've had a fantastic time. Not much snow but just enough for the kids to go mad all day long. The staff are brilliant and the bars and restaurants are on par with everything we've seen in Europe. We can't wait to come back — hopefully when there's more snow.
