Almost first class guest house in Lesotho, near the border in Butha-Buthe. 90 Min. Drive to Afriski. The owner both work at Afriski and are very I mean extremely kind and helpful. Electric blankets, comfortable beds, warm water and shower, good food and local beer, nice garden everything there. Only Moses (a nephew from the owner who takes care if the owners are at work) is not so motivated and hospitable as usualy can be expected in Lesotho. Ask for a guided local cultural tour through Butha-Buthe. Great experience, lovely guides. A must do.
We booked at the house because their prices were very reasonable and they provided us with a shuttle to Afriski. We had a great time at the guest house, it felt like home away from home, the beds had electric blankets to keep us warm in those cold nights. The staff was friendly and very accommodating (more like family). The house is beautiful and the breakfast was good!
