Good value for the money, helpfyl staff, delicious food at the restaurant, marets in walking distance.

Noisy all time because it locate close the main road. The room is OK. The bathroom is not, in my room the shower was break. I told the staff and they didn't fix it for me. Too bad. The location of this hotel is near the night market and can walk to the Khong river. Breakfast … Uhmmm… just breakfast.

Breakfast here is really good and a reasonable price! Plus they have the most helpful staff in the world! Loved it here and would stay again!

Friendly english speaking staff. Good Lao's coffee. Room small, old, no hot water, no tooth brush, no comb, no bath tub, weak water for showering.

Good cheap guesthouse but it is normal for the capital. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

It is nice here… Very good coffee! The food o will try later, but if the food is only half as good as the Cappuccino I am already happy :)

The good hotel with the good location. The hotel has cozy patio. The buffet breakfast was really great, you could choose from rice soup, fried rice or macaroni, many fruit and vegetables, two types of juice or coffee, bread or pancakes, butter/jam/honey. This hotel have two problems (as my opinion) : too small room and renovation in the territory (too noisy).

The dishes were big. The noodle soups (green & "normal") were delicious. The prices are fair (20k each). Wi-Fi is very good. Staff is friendly. Lao coffee and Latte were delicious as well.

We only ate here. Nice selection of Thai and western foods. Coffee is good. Prices reasonable.

Best Internet access in South East Asia! Upload and download, also in rooms!. Worth every penny. Food is nice as well and dining area has plenty of sockets. Rooms are Ok also.

Stopped here for food and/or coffee a few times. Checked out the rooms as well. Good service, good food, decent rooms, nice restaurant space.

Dirty, loud, gross, ac sucks. Left after one sleepless night. Loads of ants had hundreds in my bag from one night. 100k night is decent price for the location. That's all it has going for it in my opinion.

Cheap n simple, good staff but soft mattresses.

DONT GO THERE! Terrible management, small, dark, noisy and dirty rooms, no fridge, TV broken, weak Wifi.

The Mixok Guest House is a good style of accommodation which is in the central tourist area and directly opposite the Mixay Buddhist Temple – situated at the intersection of Rue Nokeokhoumane and Rue Setthathilath. The rooms are clean and comfortable and priced between 16 – 20 USD per night. It has a nice relaxed restaurant area (indoor and outdoor) and the food is of an excellent standard. The Wi-Fi is free and the staff are helpful and informative. If you need to book a bus trip to another location the desk staff can arrange it for you with the ticket price including pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the bus station. Note: pick-up times are quoted as being an hour before the bus departure but may vary by 20 minutes or so.

Simple clean and close to food options. It has seen better days.

Cheap and its on center of street.

The premises are clean and safe. The staff rotate between the Guest House and Mixok Inn a few doors away and are very happy to engage in conversation if approached. Rooms facing the main road have a view of the temple across the street. Do ensure glass windows in such rooms are locked though as there is a short corridor outside the window.

Sheet dirty towel also no noisy SOAP at 7: 00 a. M. Maid discussed aloud and 2 fried eggs breakfast a piece of bread the old defrost and finally a disgusting c to avoid mescafe.

Belongs to the mixok inn. So you get your breakfast there and the rooms are interchangeable. Relatively clean and friendly but sometimes a little bit slow staff.

Cheap and central accommodation. Some of the rooms are better than others. One of our rooms smelled a little bit. But it is relatively clean and the breakfast is good if you are willing to wait a little bit for it.

I'm going to this hotel for many years because it is very hard to beat. The price/quality ratio is truly exceptional, air conditioning, breakfast, Wi — Fi, big, double bed, rooms clean and well placed. The only downside is that the boss do some tourism sales force. On the other hand, what makes them lose a star is not seeing two small bottles of water per room. Otherwise, certainly there are cheaper in Vientiane… but with what condition? I've tested to see and finally I went back to the Mixok Inn (so much for water bottles).

Nice rooms, well priced enough with a free breakfast. Showers aren't great though, and rooms could use a fridge. But well located.

The stairs were kind of steep. And the rooms were old. I paid USD $20 per night for it, which included breakfast. Their breakfast is okay, mostly eggs and a baguette. The immediate location isn't anything special. But it's not far from the river and the restaurants and steet food there. But, it's kind of far from the night market, which is on the river, too, but a few more blocks down the street. There are some lady boys outside on the street in the night time near that hotel, which is a little annoying.

. This place has a nice location close to the river. The breakfast was good. The beds were very comfortable.
