Cheap Hotels in Pakbeng

Stay the night in this hotel. Rooms are great overlooking the Mekong river. The owner might be the nicest man in Laos. Breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Super accessible from the slow boat pier (they collected us from the pier in a tuk tuk but in the morning we walked down ourselves and it's so close). Easy walking distance to ATM and eating places.

Very nice hostel for a night's stay while doing the slow boat. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable with towels and toothbrush provided.

The dorm is spacious and clean.
The terrace is amazing, with a view on the Mekong and the elephant sanctuary.

For the price it was fine. Very handy to the pier for the slow boats. Our boat left before 7 so we couldn't get any breakfast but we purchased bread and jam the night before to take with us.

Location was a 10/10 with being walking distance from the pier and the happy bar and good food. The banana croissant 10/10 as well. Not bad for one night between boat journeys.

A very cold shower, and confusing prices. Though they gave us a lift service to and from the slowboat. Aswell as breakfast and a takeaway sandwhich.

Lovely helpful owner who caught our attention off of the slow boat, offered a good price. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Air con and fan both in the room.

Three of us stayed in their room 12 on the ground floor our beds were actually very comfortable and the room was very clean. For 100k per person it was a great stay.

My sister and I stayed here one night while on the slow boat trip and really liked it. We would have happily stayed longer if possible as Pak Beng is a charming village.

Such a great place for staying overnight after taking a slowboat. The owner and staffs are so friendly. I got a private room which is so comfy and clean. The view is so lovely.

Clean, cheap guesthouse. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Can book ahead on Booking. Com for a small fee. Will help you with any aspects of your trip, including pick up at the slow boat pier.

Very nice guesthouse with comfortable beds, hot shower, air conditioning and foods available for takeaway to bring on the boat. They bring you back and forth to the boat. Friendly staff.
