Nice breakfast and room. Wifi was just ok. Had weird Shining vibe cause it was large and very empty lol but would definitely stay here again.

Glory of paste times but a very beautiful location with the best panorama of Pakse from the top floor.

Only has the name of Palace! Reception rather cold. The cleanliness of the slabs in the dining room could be improved. Very bad Wi-Fi operation! Unacceptable for such an establishment.

Hotel with a lot of potential. Great breakfast buffet (biggest ever seen, do come early though) and the rooms are in good condition. Unfortunately the spa, bar and massage were all closed what was disappointing as it would really add to the experience.

An establishment on the decline. The staff not very welcoming, the room needs to be regroomed. The walls are not very clean. It seems that the establishment lacks the means to restore this place which has to be prestigious. Young man won't recommend it.

Outside looks great. Inside is horrible. Room stinks, Moult on the cyling. You wake up at 4 because of the roosters nearby. Please spent your money wise and go elswhere!

Don't expect to be treated like royalty. Service, where it exists, is entirely impersonal. Kudos, however, to the room cleaning staff — though shampoo bottles and the mini bar were not refilled, the room was always very clean. Maintenance of the rest of the hotel's ground is bare-bones-basic, with hardly-kempt gardens and walkways feeling more like service alleys, with furniture stored in stacks and brooms and buckets randomly distributed. But the sense of space and the good size of the rooms, not to mention the low price, make this an adequate place to stay.

Very NOISY place, dirty room, unfriendly staff, expensive breakfast…

The building is truly spectacular. Our room was huge. We stayed at one of the less expensive rooms, located in the annex building. The bathroom was big too. The bed was firm but not too hard. Good pillows. Breakfast was ok, buffet with a few options to choose from. Wi-Fi wasn't very reliable. Maybe because we were a bit far from the router.

Reasonable price. Big, clean room. Good location.

The rooms are clean and near the famous restaurant in Pakse. But in my opinion I think it can make more variety of breakfast foods.

A grand old hotel that I'm sure used to be luxurious and the place to be in its heyday. Now has become slightly dated and requires some restoration. Rooms are big and spacious. Comfortable enough.

Grand hotel that has seen better days. This means a low price for a formerly 5 star hotel so enjoy!

This is good Hotel near Sedon river and this is original biggest hotel in Pakse (This hotel is old house of King)

This is a fabulous looking true Palace converted to a Hotel. Its a must see in Pakse. Its unfortunate the Lao people do not have the funds to maintain it to the level it deserves. Our room on the Third floor was huge, and comfortable, but showing the restrictions on maintenance. The views from the open verandahs are amazing. The hotel advertises at the front door and in the elevator the cocktail bar on the top floor, yet while its there it was never open in the 5 days we stayed. However its worth the visit to use the open area to see the 360 degree views amazing. The free breakfast was Ok but not extensive and after the second morning we used the Coffee Shop across the road. Some of the staff were good but overall the hotel does not get the idea of tourist service. I think this is more a Lao thing as tourism is still new for them. Still we enjoyed our visit.

Big business hotel with comfortable rooms and on the higher floors you have a great view of Pakse. Breakfast buffet is typically Asian. The hotel is located just out of the small city center (about 10 min walk). The hotel has private parking, what is perfect for parking your motorbike.
