Renion Zyliha Hotel

We stayed there for 2 nights… choose this hotel as this was the pick up location for panda travels. Room was small… we had to leave at 5 am for charyn canyon trip. They packed breakfast for us at 5 am… reception staffs speak english well… helping staffs. Even after check out they let us keep our luggage there…

‼️bitter experience encountered at renion zyliha hotel, almaty.
I alongwith my husband put up at renion zyliha hotel for five days. From the time of check in we started to face the double standard of the hotel workers.
1. Amount for 5 days package as stated in the confirmation mail received from the end of the hotel were enhanced all of a sudden without citing any reasonable explanation.
2. Non — availability of room boy for carrying luggage, non availability of any lift service was not informed before hand. We having problems in joint and knee were forced to carry three heavy luggage bags of us all the way from ground floor to second floor (our allotted room).
3. No information about spillage of water on toilet floor was conveyed before hand. Instead every now and then their house keeping alongwith service manager start intruding into our bathroom and start quarelling about water spillage on toilet floor.
4. Make matter worse while we were resting they intruded into our room through their master key for quarreling about the same. This was serious breach of privacy.
5. They started deploying various nasty tactics of blackmailing us for extorting money under the false pretext of showing a fabricated picture of a damaged ceiling of some pawn shop lying beneath our toilet floor which has been damaged due to water spillage from our toilet floor.
6. More so they extorted a hefty sum from us as damage charge of the same.
7. Even after that there greed not ended.

The hotel was a very good price and was well located. Nice breakfast every morning!
Aru was amazing and very helpful! She went above and beyond for us. Help us through our all stay.
Bahadir was very good too! Our guide stood us down and he was able to find us someone very last minute! We could never be thankful enough for that!

This hotel is part of the renion brand which is a good known brand for hotels. There's no lift inside the hotel and had to carry luggage up through stairs. There was renovation work going on when we were there and it was on the only single path the hotel had.

We liked the hotel and the food at Julia s. However the stair case makes carrying up and down our luggage a hassle.

Very Soviet vibe. From that point of view the price is not justified, but as Almaty is in general remained in Soviet style, our expectations were accordingly low.

The hotel is relatively close to the airport.
Inexpensive, clean, very tasty breakfast and a large selection of dishes.
The room has bathrobes (soft, cool ones). Toothbrushes and pastes, slippers. Quite a lot of towels.
Air conditioner. Refrigerator, safe, kettle and water. 5 hangers in the closet.
For such a price it's just a fairy tale.
The rooms themselves may not be super beautiful, but you can definitely spend the night here peacefully.
The staff are polite, especially the young man at breakfast (he kept asking how we were relaxing, etc. ).

Strong 3 stars. Good location, nice staff, but the condition of the rooms is quite poor.

One of the best hotels we have stayed so far. Everything is great about this property.

I chose this hotel because of its great location, reviews of its helpful staff and its value for money. They succeeded on all levels.
Rooms are basic, but everything is clean and works. The upgraded me to a Deluxe King on my second visit which was nice.
The included breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the restaurant/bar is open all day with a good variety. Of local and western dishes. The shiny new metro is a one block walk. The Super Magnum Grocery store is 5 blocks.
No mater what request I made of the front desk staff, they came through. I needed to find a taxi driver for a 6-hour one-way cross-border trip to Kyrgyzstan, and they came through. I was very impressed, and thankful.

The location of the hotel is good, in the center, close to public transport. You can get from the airport by bus, next to the Sports Palace.
Breakfast is included (buffet), varied.
The bed is comfortable, the linen is snow-white, the room is cleaned daily.
Clean, comfortable.
We were greeted very well, we checked in even earlier than the scheduled time. The staff is polite, good-natured and friendly.

Good place to stay in Almaty. Convenient location in the city center. Nearby there are shops, a pharmacy, an ATM, many cafes and restaurants. The large Forum shopping center is within walking distance. It is convenient to get to Shymbulak — 30 minutes by taxi.
There is a delicious and inexpensive restaurant downstairs.
The deluxe room did not quite live up to expectations — in size and furnishings it was almost no different from a room of a lower class (did not correspond to the photographs on booking, for example, there was no sofa, unlike the photo).

This hotel is impeccably clean. The attention to detail was impressive, and it was evident that they take great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located close to all the places you'd want to visit. Whether it's tourist attractions or popular restaurants, everything was within easy reach.
But what truly made my stay memorable was the outstanding service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. From check-in to check-out, they were always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any request.

Definitely a very good place to come to from the airport. EXTREMELY comfortable bed and pillows, good curtains to block out the light, decent enough Wifi, a fridge in the room, hair dryer and some toiletries (just wish they would use the bigger bottles for the shampoo and conditions samples as the small tubes provided are not environmentally friendly).
Staff is distant as someone else said but there’s also a language barrier in terms of English. Regardless, got by fine. I would avoid rooms 104 and 105 behind reception as they’re a tiny bit noisier then the first floor (room 209) where I moved my second night and it was very quiet.
Included breakfast is more Eastern than Western but a huge selection of items regardless.
Great location to the museums: state museum and art museum between 15-25 minute walk away, as well as the Independence Monument.

Very well located hotel. If you come here by taxi, it's right across the Astana International. Lots of things to see within walking distance. Friendly staff, clean rooms. The Julia Restaurant (same owner) is right next door, good food and friendly service. There were some improvements being made to the restaurant, so in the meantime they had a nice cool terrace in front of the hotel.
Metro station nearby as well.

On the morning of July 28, 2022 at 08:44, I called the reception at +77272922297, asked for availability. They replied that there were places. I asked for the price for half a day. They said 13, 000. I arrived, they said that there is only a suite at a price of 16 thousand. I agreed. They made a photocopy of my ID and presented a QR code, I paid 16 thousand. Then the reception called someone for a long time and said that there were no seats. That's such a wild story. By the way, the hotel does not have parking and it is impossible to put a car near the hotel, besides, there are no parking lots nearby. Irresponsible attitude towards customers.
