My first stay at this hotel was about a year ago and after my most recent visit a couple weeks back I must say that it was a very pleasant stay. The staff is helpful and available 24/7, breakfast has a wide variety of meals, the rooms are nice and clean. I got a view at the Almaty stadium and witnessed a soccer match right outside my window which was a pleasant surprise😁Overall it was a great stay for me, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning their trip to Almaty.

Don’t go there… Not at all supportive staff… don’t bothered to provide Indian — Veg food in proper manner. They just want money without providing value / services against that money.

The worst hotel I ever been to. Dirty rooms, no central heating. The only thing I had was a portable heather there that could barely warm up the room. Avoid it. This is not a hotel but a high price flophouse.

Don’t book at Regardal Hotel Almaty — they’re scammers. We booked for one night and requested early check-in since our flight arrived at 2 a. M. When we got there, a staff member named AIVAR said early check-in wasn’t allowed and tried to charge us 40, 000 ₸ for another room. After bargaining, we agreed to pay 7, 000 ₸, gave him 10, 000 ₸, and he promised to return the 3, 000 ₸ change later — but never did. The next day, staff claimed he was off and refused to return the money. Total scam. Avoid this hotel — it’s a waste of time and money!

This hotel was one of the worst hotels I've experienced. Considering facility and reception service, room rate was too much high. Furthermore, I paid for the late check-out service but the reception forgot about it and kept calling me to check-out. The worst thing was that it took about 20 minutes to checkout because the cleaning lady was not there and I had to wait until she checks my room.

The hotel is located in the city with extremely neat and clean rooms.
Staff are courteous and well behaved.
The layout of breakfast is totally continental and is not preferred by Indian tourists.
Good place to stay for Indian tourists but avoid meals.

Extremely old world, old fashioned and old looking hotel. Front desk is unfortunately very unhelpful and often not keen to help. Breakfast is very average and just the same in the mornings. Language is a big barrier with all the staff. Be careful about your water consumption there, they ration it in an almost communist way. Quite an avoidable hotel in Almaty.

Useless service.
The telephone is not working.
No tissue at all in the toilet.
No water haa been delivered to the room.
None of the staff does not know how to communicate in english.
They dont clean the room properly.
You can hear the neigboors room.
Soo creepy corridors, lack of lights.
The buffet after running out of food they dont refill.
The coffee machine was not working properly.
The buffet was really mess. They dont maintain the buffet.

Such a nice property with very good rooms but the things in room don’t work, pathetic maintenance and absolutely rude pathetic non cordial staff, they just don’t want to communicate in English with the tourists. The bath tubs/Jacuzi doesn’t work, tap leaks with soiled water, toilet gets clogged then sometimes ACs don’t work. Breakfast menu also nothing is written in English, how will the tourists understand.

Most pathetic room and no cleaning done for 3 days out of the 4 nights we stayed here. Breakfast no vegetarian besides a bread some salad and tea coffee. I didn’t have breakfast and was stepping outside it of the restaurant with 1 cup of yogurt they said no you have to eat here only. The staff isn’t very courteous at reception or other places. Just what is given to you is according to them the best. One of us had a knee problem and needed ice for the ice pack they refused to give ice. Wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

I stayed with my family in the Corner Suite for 5 days and 4 nights (prepaid), and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The air conditioning did not work at all, and we had to keep the windows open just to get some fresh air. One of the bidets in the bathroom was also broken, and to make things worse, the bathroom was never cleaned throughout our stay.
We reported these issues, but there was no serious response or effort to resolve them. The breakfast menu lacked any variety—it was the exact same thing every day.
I would not recommend this hotel at all. If I hadn’t prepaid, I would’ve checked out and moved to another hotel after the first night.

Rude behaviour by all staffs. Donno English. Not at all recommend for Indians, Rude staff, Leaking washrooms and they not at all care for our issues, cleanliness not good, Totally Not worth for Money. Don't book this hotel. Create some problem at check out for extra amount. Asked 10000 Tenge for a small towel with washable stains. Atlast had to pay 2000Tenge. Same happens with all the customers. Better to have breakfast from some other nearby restaurants. Waste of Money for including breakfast.

Honestly the best customer service! I had an issue with getting the local SIM connectivity. The staff here helped us truly, from setting my phone connection to giving us the best room with a view and helping us with transport such as YandexGo and itinerary. The location is accessible to most tourist places. Would highly recommend.

Makes problem at checkout. Ask extra payment for basic washable stains.
No coffee provided in room.
Swimming Pool is chargable 17000 Tn.
Location is good easy to travel at tourist spot.

I booked through third party, the hotel's name is Grand Ai Ser. Several days before arriving I checked the cost for Yandex from the airport, but Yandex could not locate. So I did an investigation through maps turned out that the real name is Regardal Hotel. Then a day before check in I received an email mentioning its real name which was too late as I've already figuref it out myself. The check in was ok, and after payment I told the reception lady that I would collect the receipt when I check out the following day. She said yes, so I assumed she passed the message to her colleague who worked the following day, but she seemed not. So when I checked out, when I asked for the receipt, it was not ready, then I went to toilets. When I returned to the reception, she said to wait for another 5 minutes, which you know it could be 15 minutes. So I decided to left without a receipt as my driver has already come. Bad management! Also, another surprising thing is that my room's door handle was broken and the door itself was also broken! No wonder the hotel rating is very low.
