Twilight Hotel Petra

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! It’s incredibly clean, and its fantastic location offers a great view of Wadi Musa town. The food was delicious, and the hospitality from the staff was truly exceptional. Moamen, the owner, is a wonderful person and a fantastic host. He even provided us with free rides in his own car to downtown, which was a huge help. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

One of the best hotel experiences of my life. Close to Petra, the owner Moumen is always available for anything; day or night! He’s also a guide for Petra, and worth every penny! You can have authentic homemade cooked food in the restaurant of the hotel (we ended up eating there for all our meals while staying in Wadi Musa) we met beautiful nice people. The rooms are huge, clean, cute, and you have incredible view on the Valley of Musa!

I feel this was the best hotel in jordan for us. And as soon as we arrived momen greeted us and waited us late in the night to welcome us. The breakfast was light and tasty.
The rooms are super clean and momen was very helpful with guidance for the petra tour.
He is also a super guide if you want to take him as your personal guide.
Overall this stay is super nice and very close to Wonder of the world.

5 minutes away from Petra Visitor center, but the family atmosphere and the warm welcome of the host made the stay in this hotel a highlight of our trip in Jordan. The dinner was amazing! The bedroom was comfortable and very clean! Highly recommend staying here for getting the authentic Jordanian experience.

The hotel is located 5 minutes away from the Petra Visitors center and offers an amazing view of the city. It has parking on site and all the pictures that you see is what you get, clean room, private bathroom (if you book the room with private bathroom), the owner was gracious enough to install universal plugs in all the rooms so you don’t need an adaptor.
The hotel has a restaurant on site where you are able to book dinner, you just need to let them know 1 hour ahead, very tasty highly recommended!
This is a place that we will be coming back as you didn’t felt as a guest but the personalize service we got made us feel like family. If you have any doubts about your trip to Jordan or Petra contact the owner of this hotel he speaks very good English and will give you a lot of tips and suggestions.

Me and my brother had a great 2 night stay at the Twilight hotel! The owner was really nice and gave us lots of tips for the trip to Petra and things to do in the neighborhood. Ate there both nights all cooked by his mother, really good local food!
We also had nice talks in the evening about all kinds of stuff. Thank you for 2 great days in Petra!

Great place to stay when wanting to visit petra. The room looks very modern and is clean. Owner was very kind and offered homemade food for 10JOD per person. This food was delicious, would definitely recommend. The owner knew alot about Petra and helpt us plan our 1 day trip. Breakfasts was included and pretty good.

It would be a decent stay for half the price. However, at this price, there are better alternatives.
The bed (at least on 206) isn't comfortable. The bedsheet does not cover the entire mattress, so you end up sleeping on the mattress (see the picture). You get two towels for the stay (no bathmats) that aren't replaced unless you ask. There is no room service by default, so the room isn't cleaned during the stay. Our bathroom sink had no water pressure. Our shower never had hot water, but others said after 5-7 minutes, the water heated up, so maybe we didn't wait long enough.
The breakfast was the most basic and the worst we had in Jordan during our 10-night stay.
The owner complained that only two of us ordered dinner because the other two we travelled with weren't hungry. It wasn't a buffet, so why does it matter how much or how little we ordered?
We met two other couples that had similar issues; one of them checked out early as well without getting a refund.
We ended up leaving early to go to a different hotel to get a decent night's sleep even though the owner did not refund us for the night we didn't stay (which is fine. A good night sleep was more important).
Either way, it's not a bad place if it was much cheaper, but I'd temper your expectations. There are better properties around for less money.

Great family run hotel. Very clean and quiet. The views are superb. The food is deleicious. Three minutes by car to Petra entrance. And most importantly, Momen is a great and friendly host. He helped us a lot by providing information about the sights and routes inside the archaeological city of Petra. I highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at the hotel. The stuff was really nice and especially Momen helped us a lot finding a tour for each day at Petra. We also enjoyed the home cooked food and would stay at the hotel again.

We stayed here for one night as part of a visit to Petra. The hotel is easy to find via Google maps and has off-road parking. The room was big, quiet and clean and the view from the balcony over Wadi Musa was lovely, especially at sunset. We also ate a very good dinner at the hotel — my only suggestion would be to add chickpeas or a fried egg to the vegetarian dinner so it has some protein. Overall, a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer to experience more of Momen and his family’s hospitality.

We highly recommend staying here! It's fairly new and everything in the room was in pristine condition. We were happy to have a room near the front desk, where we had quick access to hotel staff if we needed anything. Breakfast was simple, tasty, and gave us the fuel we needed to start our day off right before heading into Petra. We also opted for the home cooked dinner, which was amazing. The portion sizes were huge and the meal of chicken, rice, salad, potatoes, and dessert was delicious! Being in the hotel dining room is an experience in and of itself, but it has a beautiful view of the city. The hotel is also within walking distance of a family-friendly park, which also has gorgeous scenic views of the area. The hotel staff is very friendly. The manager spent a generous amount of time walking us through strategies to get the best experience in Petra and other areas of Jordan, which worked out great!

Great value for money.
It's under a 10-minute drive from the Petra visitor centre. It's in a quiet area up a hill, and you can see Wadi Musa from the lobby and dining room. You won't be in walking distance of restaurants, but if you're visiting multiple parts of Jordan, you probably are driving yourself, so this is no problem. You can park behind the hotel's gate, or along the street outside.
Rooms are clean, new and spacious. They feel more luxurious than the nightly rate might lead you to think. It is a new hotel, so there are a few small gaps (e. G. TV wasn't set up), but nothing that can't be fixed with a quick chat with staff. The only exception is the thin blinds, so just bring an eye mask if you don't plan on waking at dawn every morning. Amenities like shampoo, kettle and fridge are provided, which other places I've stayed in the same price range have lacked.
The owner speaks great English and, as a former guide, can give extremely helpful tips for touring the site.
It was a comfortable stay — I would come here again.

Staying at the Twilight hostel was the best part of our trip. The host was very responsive and willing to help with sightseeing and also offering tips about the rest of the trip. He made sure our stay was comfortable, the room was spacious, very clean, cool and well equipped. The hostel has a view of all of Wadi Musa from the hilltop, especially at night. Every morning we had delicious breakfast and the host also invited us for an amazing dinner. I highly recommend staying at Twilight hostel while visiting Petra.

I had the pleasure of being the first customer in the newly opened hotel. The host of the house was very friendly and helpful in all matters. The rooms were clean and the bed was good. The views from the balcony were amazing. The host's good English skills made it easy to understand each other. I recommend this place for families (family rooms) and those who like peace.
