Tokyo Hotels near Ueno Park

We stayed at Hotel Crown Hills Ueno Premium for 4 days and 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience overall.

Based myself here for a 12 night stay. Had the Tokyo City View double room, saw Mount Fuji when the weather was clear. Enough room to open two suitcases as solo traveller.

Location is perfect as it’s in a quiet area of Tokyo. It’s near to museums, the park and the zoo which are all worth visiting.

We loved our little shoebox in Tokyo! It was tiny, but very clean and well thought out. Only things missing were somewhere around the sink to hang hand-towels and an extractor fan in the bathroom.

Perfect location, close to 3 train stations making it super easy to get around. Nice to be in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to Asakusa was fun. Kombini's almost on every corner.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights. A really good choice for family apartment lodging in Tokyo. The washer/dryer is the very reason we selected this property to stay.

The property features a spacious room suitable for a family of four with a clear view of Shinobazu Pond covered in lotus flowers.

Such a lovely little hotel!

Touganeya Hotel was one of the best parts of my trip! 🫶
The staff were so kind and helpful. They even helped me with my luggage when I was leaving on a rainy day.

Excellent location for a clean, no frills hotel. The rooms are small by western standards but the pictures do it justice.

We had a great night at Mimaru Tokyo Ueno North. The staff was incredibly helpful and the hotel has fun and useful items that can be borrowed from the front desk.

Stayed with my family during early July. Fab room, spacious — I’m assuming by Tokyo standards. Staff at the desk were helpful and lovely. They helped talk us through the luggage transfer when needed.

Apartment hotel great for families. We were able to book a Japanese apartment and 2 bedroom apartment across the hall from each other for our family of 6 including 2 toddlers.

The hotel was perfect for our family of four. The benches at the table converted to single beds where our kids slept.

We had a wonderful stay! Our kids were absolutely thrilled with the Pokémon-themed room, especially the huge Snorlax waiting for them on the bed when we arrived. Seeing their excitement was priceless.

First of all the staffs are amazing, they were welcoming, informative and good english speakers. The cleaning staffs always kept our room clean and organized.

Really lovely boutique hotel in Tokyo. We booked fairly last minute but this was under a friends recommendation and it was perfect for our short stay.

I recently had a pleasant stay at Hotel Graphy Nezu. The hotel is located in the charming Yanasen area, which is both vibrant and conveniently situated for exploring Tokyo.

Excellent location, clean and friendly staff. I had a single non smoking room. It was small but ok if you only need it for sleeping. The shower was excellent.
The amenities were good.

First of all, the price is really great. I chose this hotel because it was the last day of my trip and I had an early morning flight the next day.

The perfect hotel for staying in Tokyo!
The rooms are very comfortable, clean and have modern interior. Snacks, tea and amenities are provided in the lobby as well.

I stayed in Twin room 1009. Quiet corner and top floor. Room is sufficient for opening 2 luggages but must close up to allow walking passage. Pajamas are comfortable.

Very good stay at Hotel Aima. The location is close to Ueno Station and Ueno Park. Lots of restaurants close by within walking distance.

Excellent hotel with the best location. Walkable to really nice halal restaurants. 7 eleven just 2 mins walk. Ueno station few mins walk. Ameyoko street just few mins away.

We spent 5 nights here. Overall, the hotel and the room were quite good, the staff are friendly, the bed is also good too.

I personally really liked this hotel. It's close to restaurants and stations and has everything in close proximity. The only downside is the noise insulation is not that good.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel for our trip at Tokyo.

Good location, easy access to Ueno station and Asakusa, Akihabara are within walking distance through the busy streets filled with interesting sights and nice small cafes (depends on which direction

Overall good experience. Hotel was in a pretty good location but only that if you want to go to the nearest station from the hotel, it's going to be an uphill journey from there.

I absolutely loved my stay at Landabout Tokyo. Everything from the room design and overall aesthetics to the friendly staff was just perfect. The hotel has such a lovely, modern, and cozy atmosphere.

The location is great if you do not need to be in Shinjuku, Shibuya or Ginza. Easy access from the airport and a short walk to JR station and 3 subway lines.

We had a wonderful stay at Dormy Inn Ueno.

Staying here 7 nights, everything is excellent.
Can store my luggage at the hotel before check in.
Check in at 3 pm.
Room size is small but thats expected, which is same as other hotel in Tokyo.

Rooms: Always clean but covers are a bit worn out. Compared to other rooms/hotels you might get one that the walkable space is quite limited.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a good experience overall.

Two of us stayed in a double room for 4 nights. Rooms are small, about in line with other Japanese hotels. The room was comfortable and there was no noise to speak of, which was a little surprising.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the city.

Great location and great service as always in Japan. The rooms are standard, quite small and narrow. Also normal for this rate. Amenities of the hotel are great!

Room is bigger than my other hotels in Tokyo (I can open my 20, 26inch and 28inch luggage at the same time with a little bit of moving some stuffs in the room).

Breakfast buffet has great healthy selections. All is good except that hotel slippers are recycled. They need to invest having a disposable slippers.

Hanare is such a special place! We only had 1 night at hanare, but wish we had stayed longer — we will definitely be back next time we are in Tokyo.

I had a relaxing stay in the hotel. I stayed at Niwa Room and it’s absolutely charming. Environment is very quiet and serene. The staff are all very thoughtful. Breakfast is incredible.

My husband and I, along with 4 friends, stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in May. I definitely don’t regret staying at APA Hotel again, just like on my previous trips where I always chose APA Hotel.

Ueno, Tokyo was the last stop of our Japan trip. Apa Hotel Ueno Eki Minami was a great hotel for it's modern design, and it was super clean and the staff we're extremely friendly.

It was our first time staying at Koko Hotel, and we’re glad we decided to change our booking at the last minute.

Good location and comfortable room.
Perfect for solo traveller. The room size is larger than expected. Suitcase can be fully opened. Air conditioner is separate in each room.

Went to Japan for the first time and stayed here.
Really nice! while the room is small, its still cozy and clean.
