Tokyo Hotels near Tokyo Tower

Some reviews say this is more of a corporate/ business hotel but my wife and I did not find this to be the case at all.

The staff was friendly and welcoming and took care in the small details.

Family of 5 (kids 6, 8, 11), first time to Japan. Centrally located and close to rail stations (5-11 min walk). FamilyMart and Natural Lawson's a stones throw away.

While Google maps has this as a 4-star hotel, this is only 2-3 stars at best. It is inexpensive and good value. But the rooms are dim and dated.

The hotel is right by Tameike-sannō Station, Exit 13 just a quick 2-3 minute walk, convenient for getting around.

We had a fantastic seven-night stay at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo.

Two weeks in Japan, and Edition Toranoman was our favorite hotel! It’s obviously a luxury property, with all of the exceptional hospitality and amenities you’d expect.

Amazing hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were wonderful. I specifically want to shout out Marek at the front desk for his helpful tips and friendliness, and Nalani at concierge.

Loved the Celestine hotel. Great room view with an excellent service and staff.
Room was a queen bed with city view, which was amazing at night. Everything very clean and stylish.

Clean room! Nice staff! Tasty hotel dishes. The hotel has a 7/11 attached to it. It’s right by the breakfast buffet room. The breakfast buffet was good! They had western and Japanese food options.

Overall excellent hotel. Solid location with a short walk to Hamamatsucho Station and plenty of food options nearby. Staff were nice, and spoke English very well for tourists.

Nice hotel (if a little dated) with great service and accommodations onsite. Nice location with easy access to trains and walking distance to Tokyo Tower and Roppongi.

Fantastic hotel, great rooms with awesome views, nice staff, restaurants are surprisingly good, and location is great. Can't ask for much else.

One the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in Tokyo! In terms of front desk staff, they were all exceptional in making our stay a memorable one.

10/25/26 — My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for 5 days.

A good, memorable and enjoyable stay both in Sotetsu Fresa Inn, Tokyo and Osaka.
Rooms are clean and coszy.
Everything that you need in room are fully equipped and provide.

Great hotel. The room is spacious and well equipped for a family of 4. Our teens were 15 and 17 and had plenty of room to have their own area. Wonderful location.

In the quiet but handy location of Hamamatsucho (along the Yamanote line) is this unassuming hotel. It is walking distance to train stations and at least 3 convenience stores and a small supermarket.

We stayed here in 2024 with our then ~2 year old. Great rooms and service. More akin to a 4 star hotel in the US — rooms aren't huge but you shouldn't expect that in Tokyo.

Roppongi area is not the first district you read about where to stay in Tokyo but this is a good area with good subway connection.
Hotel from outside looks old but totally renovated inside.

A good location convenient to everything but rooms too small and there’s a constant smell of toilet or sewage coming out the bathroom or somewhere.

Great staffs, good hotel, nice clean room and comfortable.
Trains station and cafes is just below this hotel.

Great hotel, well located with close access to attractions to the Tokyo Tower, parks, temples and shopping. Guest rooms and bathrooms are very spacious.

Excellent stay. Great location — within 20/25 min from every other area it was so handy to visit the other suburbs. Room was clean and shower was great! Room also had a good hairdryer!

I came around midnight on February 18th after walking around in the rain with all of my luggage trying to find a hotel with open rooms.

We stayed there with our toddler and the location was very convenient. The rooms are spacious compared to our stays in other hotels and the facilities are very well maintained and spotless!

Lovely hotel, rooms like new and well kept. Very clean and welcoming staff. The location is fairly good for tourists to get around everywhere but not right next to a station.

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel in Tokyo. The room was small but it’s expected in Japan. The room was clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful.

Easy to walk from train stations. Room size is OK and beds are comfortable. However housekeeping needs to be more thorough. We notice crumbs are still on the carpet after cleaning is done.

Been here a few times, love that its conveniently located, very close to Tokyo Tower with a magnificent night view.

I had a wonderful stay at the Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba for my first ever visit to Japan!
The service was exceptional from the check in right through to the staff servicing the rooms.

Fantastic business hotel in the Daimon / Hamamatsucho area! Great location if you're coming off the monorail from Hanada, easy checkin, on-site laundry, and a Lawsons is connected to the lobby.

Rooms are a bit small but that is the usual in Tokyo.

We have stayed at this location twice when in Tokyo. The rooms are clean and the water pressure is high. The location is great; it’s a ~10-minute walk from two subway stations.

Even though the rooms are a bit small, it has everything you need. Their rooms have a huge TV with infotainment and movies. The location also is perfect as it is right in the heart of Roppongi.

A bit far from the metro, but it’s quiet enough. Services are excellent with helpful staff. Single room is a little bit small while I am here with a 32” luggage.

We stayed here for about 3 weeks, and will definitely stay here again. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to help us with anything.

Good place to stay. The rooms I stayed in was quite small, but it was enough room to sleep and hang out, so if this doesn't bother you, pretty ideal choice for the price range.

You can get to the hotel from Haneda Airport by taking the train twice, and it takes about 40-45 minutes on average.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we really enjoyed. The building and rokms are not as big or roomy compared to other bigger hotel names.

This was my first hotel on my first time to Japan. Had a great experience here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have all the amenities here that you can rent and disposable ones too.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and all homemade! Plus the very pleasant tattoo-friendly onsen was a huge bonus.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, in particular the tea house inspired aesthetic. The taxi driver didn't know where it was, so it is probably fairly new.

The 1899 Hotel is beautifully designed, with a calm, refined atmosphere throughout, and we were very glad we chose to stay here twice on our recent trip.

Perfect location, nice rooms, and a surprisingly good amenities bar (bath salts, face masks—not the best quality, but a thoughtful touch after a long, drying flight).

There's location perfect, and also hotel's staff very kind, and room is always clean. There's hotel have a all facilities, amenities. I'm very satisfied.

The room is clean, service at the counter attentive and helpful. The heater (air conditioner) has a bit noise, but acceptable. The breakfast is perfect, has a lot of options and delicious.

Rooms are very small, but if you are always out and about exploring tokyo, its actually not that bad. The rooms are also very clean.
