Great hotel that has only improved over the six years that I have known of it. Niwa is a place to go to experience a mix of western and Japanese culture. The rooms are large, and filled with amenities. I particularly love the Himalayan salt bath. As for food, the Lieu restaurant is great for a Japanese and western breakfast buffet. There is typically an asagohan variety available, breads, meats and cheeses, a coffee bar, and omelette/fried eggs available. The relaxation area provides 3 free massage chairs, and a wonderful balcony. There is an alcohol vending machine on-site. The workout room has a treadmill, bicycle, and elliptical. The staff is very friendly, and always attempts to help in English. There is a money exchange machine.

Great place to stay if you want comfort and convenience. It is 5 minutes walk from the nearest JR station. The hotel has a couple of coin laundry machines conveniently located near a lounge with a vending machine and a massage chairs as well as a beautiful outdoor garden. The breakfast buffet from 630 to 930 has a nice variety of western and Japanese foods. The room itself was clean and had a refridgerator, hot water heater, green tea, nice deep tub for bathing (bath salts included) and many other useful amenities.

Rooms are as expected in Tokyo a little small however the hotel is very nice. Some notes: — no room service (hotel is more corporate) — breakfast is decent for a hotel of this size — restaurants are highly quality however not vegetarian friendly — location is good. On a quiet street. Convenience store. 2 metro stations in close proximity. Also a mall and many restaurants are walking distance. Overall lovely hotel and I would be happy to come back.

Great hotel that really made me feel like I was staying in Tokyo luxuriously. The rooms are bigger than the average hotel room in Tokyo and the cleanliness was the best I've experienced. The location is the only drawback that I can think of. Other than that it is a great hotel with awesome service and hospitality.

One of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. My week-long stay was fantastic with the hotel and staff exceeding all expectations. Highly recommended!

I'm really amazed with the size of the room, and also the facilities available here. This would be my last night here in Tokyo before leaving back home and it is indeed easy for me to use the printing service at the available Business corner. (Needed to print my boarding pass). I only wish that an ioniser would be placed in the smoking room to reduce the smell of tobacco. Over all, good experience here.

Nice hotel near ochanomisu train station. It is decorated in Japanese style. They have laundry machine so good for families.

This place is amazing and has a really nice staff. Rooms are nice and really clean. I can't wait to bring my friends over here next year.

Of the Pros: Sujdobashi station is a 3-minute walk, mini-market 24/7 at the next door, 2 restaurants on the 1st floor, in the room coffee/tea/water, Wi-Fi free and-a nice bonus-a smartphone that can be carried with you already with the connection to the network (see photo). Many interesting places are easily reachable on foot from the hotel.

Hotel was beautiful and clean. I was so happy with our room. The staff was so kind. It was a wonderful place to stay for our honeymoon. I was so relaxed in the room and the little extra features went a long way. The room included a Handy cell phone to use while staying there that saved us a few times while exploring. The mirror in the restroom had a spot that never fogged up. Pajamas, water bottles, and hot tea were included. And the soaps were so gentle I left Japan with nicer skin than I came with. We had an amazing week. We miss it already and would go back to Hotel Niwa in a heartbeat.

Located in a nice hotel in Tokyo, three minutes walk from the east exit of the Waterway Bridge station, a convenience store downstairs, conveniently located in the school District (Japanese University) and only two stops from Akihabara.
There is free mobile phone in the room, with the Internet function, simply need to register a simple personal data can be used, there are multi-language versions, the Chinese and English French and German Thai have. Breakfast is a Western-style buffet, the type is not much, and fixed unchanged, such as not included in the room breakfast, then do not recommend a breakfast ticket, after all, Japan and breakfast also have a lot of options, in a street from the Yoshinoya and other restaurants to choose from.
Or to the Tsukiji market. The disadvantage is that although employees generally speak English, the mixed Japanese accent is a serious problem.

Fits me perfectly… both accommodations and location. Necessary SPA and big gym at ten minutes walking distance. Subway /metro station five minutes from hotel. Japanese style and atmosphere hotel. Very good breakfast and hotel restaurant in general. Superb service.

I had a lovely 4-day stay in this hotel. Loved the modern Japanese design of the lobby, restaurants and rooms. The rooms were very cosy and immaculate despite being quite small. Service was top notch and the breakfast buffet was delicious and you can tell the ingredients used are fresh. Location wise, it is only a 5 minute walk to Suidobashi station and there is a convenience store next door so it's super convenient. The area around the hotel is usually quite peaceful and there are many restaurants available which open till quite late at night.

It's an excellent hotel with great value for money, both good for business and leisure. Featured by traditional Japanese beauty and design, great place to have some tranquility even in the heart of Tokyo. Clean room with many facilities, even a reading room and (small but useful) gym, two restaurants offer decent and reasonably priced meals. Staff is very helpful and competent, perfectly interpreting the impeccable Japanese service. The location is good in my opinion — — not touristy but well connected with public transport, and it's an area with lots of tradition and culture from old Tokyo (just a few minutes walk from the book quarter, with many publishers and bookstores) ; the Tokyo Dome is just across the street. Life here is convenient too, with streets full of non-stop convenient stores, bars and restaurants. The only drawback was that the rooms facing highway / railway are not perfectly sound proof — — better to choose backside rooms if one is sensitive to noise in the night.

In a very good place to stay, with terrace for smokers, armchairs that give massage to free disposition and next to the station Suidobashi… Plus there are many good food venues nearby like the Steakhouses.

Service was incredible, best service I received in any hotel. Very caring staff and available amenities. Convenience store next door, a curry place on the other side if you need with takeout. There appeared to be room service from a restaurant outside the hotel according to the welcome information, but did not try it. There's a very soothing japanese garden in the front and next to the bar and grill, which is nice when eating and enjoying your time.

This hotel was great. The rooms were clean, and it offers a relaxation room with massage chairs, vending machines, and a small gym. The price was great, especially because Japanese or American style breakfast is included. The location is awesome. Within walking distance there are a ton of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and and a few stores. If you want to venture out further it's very close to both the JR Railroad and the Subway lines. The rooms are small, and only have a bed and a desk, so don't plan on lounging around the hotel room. There is plenty to do though, so not being able to hang out in the room isn't a problem.

Rooms very well presented though rather small. You have a smoking room. Out of sofas, massage, microwave, ice machine, washing machine dryer and vending machines on the third floor. Listening slightly the step of trenescon the closed window.

Small room, the room service was very late, when we returned from eating, they had not finished making the room. For others as well.

I highly recommend the very fine cuisine of the Yukuri restaurant which is in the hotel, the service there too is impeccable.

This was a lovely hotel to check into after a long flight. It was a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. The room was pretty and spacious, the beds were comfy, though sightly firmer than my preference. The fresh pajamas every day were a nice touch. I found the bathroom to be quite nice, and both the shower and the bath to be enjoyable. Breakfast here is a bit pricey, but very good. There is a nice blend of both Western and Japanese food, and a good variety of each. I'm not often a fan of hotel breakfasts, but I recommend trying this one. I also really appreciated all the signs near the hotel that helped us find it as we wondered over from the subway.

Very clean and beautiful hotel. Great location. A little hard to find at first in the dark, but if you keep your eyes out, there are signs pointing the way! Just a 6 minute flat walk from the subway. Lots of great food nearby. 7-11 right next door. Super friendly and helpful staff with great English. Best thing was the free massage chairs next to the laundry room! Great way to burn the time while waiting for a load or after a long day of exploring the awesome city! Only con is the slightly soft bed. They give you both a firm pillow and a soft one though.

Lovely, relaxing rooms. Comfortable beds. Bathroom well designed and equipped. Room comes with Keurig cups. Great room design that was welcomed after a long day of walking the city.

Stayed here recently with my husband and it was very comfortable, clean, and had a great buffet breakfast including western dishes and Asian dishes to choose from. Everyone at the hotel lobby, restaurant, and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. They also helped us arrange to send our luggage to the next city we were going to visit. Overall a good and comfortable stay while visiting Tokyo.

We arrived very early and the staff accepted our bags from 8am. We returned a little early for check in and we were shown to our room where our bags were already waiting for us. Very clean room, great bed and pillows. Room was made up lovely every day with excellent bathroom amenties. Razors, toothbrushes, hairbrushes supplies daily. It was lovely to stay at Niwa and we will be back.

Good central location, about a 5 to 10 minute walk from several train stations. Front desk staff is friendly and speak English well. Rooms are small but very nice and clean.

Hotel Niwa is in a great location. Close to Tokyo Dome and streets with several restaurants. It is the only Hotel I have stayed in in Tokyo so don't have a basis of comparison. I would say it is a little basic but has everything you would need and is close to a 7 eleven if you need to buy anything else. Breakfast buffet is also pretty good. Staff are great and really friendly and helpful.

Very elegant business Hotel, offer very wide and varied courtesy set, excellent relaxation area with massage chairs (free) and the possibility to use washing machines and dryers.

The rooms are nice and spacious. Nice interiors, like a fusion of traditional japanese houses and modern buildings. They felt nice and homey. — good quality of rooms — toiletries provided — good service Located close to Suidobashi station.

Rooms were cute and well appointed but showed use (scuffed walls etc). Very clean. Friendly staff speaks good English. Breakfast is simple and rotates item selection day to day. 7/11 right outside the front doors.

Stayed on this hotel for a night. It is about 5 minutes walk to the JR station. Very clean room with fast Wi-Fi. The staff I talked too when I checked in is very good in English, this is really helpful to foreign tourists.

Although the hotel has been small, the garden (NIWA) is also beautifully and their service is the best. Premium room's amenity is great! Dinner course was also delicious and the staff was friendly. It was not troubled this hotel is close from Suidoubashi-station.

Stayed in the hotel for a total of 7 days. The price range is great for a hotel near (5 min walk) the JR metro station, with wireless included and a full size tub. The room was not huge, but enough for me and my wife to stay comfy and sort out our luggage. The hotel also has a an laundry room with reasonable price. 300 yen for washing (detergent included) a 100 yen for every 30 min of drying. It also has 2 massage chair outside the laundry room for you to utilize. Hotel front desk speaks average English, understanding most of my statements. Overall, it was is pleasant stay, although some minor details could be improved, but at the price, I would not actually complain about it.

Wonderful hotel, not to big. Nice interior, wonderful design. Very helpful staff, proficient in English. Breakfast buffet is catered to traditional Japanese and continental. Japanese restaurant excelent. Centrally located, in this mega cosmopolis: a rarity. Many things in less than 60min walking distance. Good public transport in neighborhood.

Room was small and the fitness center is laughable. But clean and tidy and good value.

Very well located, cerquísima station of JR, very good breakfast, has a convenience store on the side, the treatment of the personal very good, and the facilities are perfect.

Truly a fantastic hotel. Clean, modern and have everything you may need in the room. The only complain is the Wi-Fi which was extremely slow and unusable (not even for browsing) during the evening.

Nice location, only 5 min walk from JR & Metro Suidobashi Station. The room is suprisingly bigger than I thought, quiet spacious compare to the hotel that I stayed before. Mini market just next door and plenty of restaurant nearby. Will def come back.

Great hotel in a very convenient location. Only a few minutes walk from two Metro stations which between them can get you to most of the main Tokyo tourist spots within 20 minutes. Room was small but for the price in Tokyo couldn't ask for any more.

Excellent hotel, modern, clean, attentive service, friendly. A great advantage is that it is not in any big avenue so it is quiet and you can relax. Perfect location just a step from the station, offers rooms with free internet, ideal to move around tokyo with the JR pass. I was for 5 nights and if I return to Tokyo without a doubt I would stay there.

I highly recommend this hotel. Pros: The hotel is beautifully designed, the staff is always very courteous, the rooms are kept immaculate by the cleaning staff, and both of the on-site restaurants are top-notch. Also important to note, the JR (Suidobashi station) is less than a five minute walk from the hotel's front entrance, and there is a friendly convenience store adjacent to the building. Cons: For those looking to stay 3-4 weeks, the "standard" hotel room is somewhat small (i. E. Only one small closet, no dresser…). I recommend one of the hotel's larger rooms (deluxe) for long trips. Special note: For those of you who are Catholic (or not), one of the oldest Catholic churches in Tokyo is less than two minutes from the hotel's front entrance (St. Francis Xavier). Overall, I immensely enjoyed my stay at the NIWA; well worth the time and investment.
