Rooms are simple but nice, location is not convenient for access to onsen, but the owner will gladly shuttle you back and forth. The real star of the show is the woman who works there. She is extremely kind and a joy to be around.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this ryokan! The couple that run the show were very warm and welcoming! (Well, the wife was for sure. The husband was a bit stoic, but kind)
I was super appreciative because they helped me adjust my reservation. My travel companion had suddenly cancelled so instead of being two guests, it was just me. Ryokans charge per guest, so the original cost reflected two people in the room. When the wife heard that, she was able to adjust my booking. Com reservation so that the price was reduced! Although I had to pay in cash rather than the credit card I used to book, I was more than happy to do so.
My room was super comfortable and I was really glad for the private toilet! The onsen bath was also very lovely. I enjoyed a morning bath in the morning sun and it was the best way to start my day! My reservation also included a light breakfast of buttered toast and coffee. It was a wonderful surprise because I wasn't expecting it.
Not only were the ryokan facilities wonderful, but they also have a shuttle that guests can use to go to the main Kinosaki onsen area! The bus runs until 10pm. You can set up a return pick up time or call and request a pick up when you're ready. Since there are few parking lots in the Kinosaki onsen area and all of them are paid, I was really grateful for this service!

This ryokan is located outside of the main town of Kinosaki, but the owners are always ready and happy to drive guests into town. They are also incredibly kind and well mannered! The room is very big and breakfast is brought in every morning. The yukata provided is of good quality and the lady of the hotel is so nice she even taught me how to properly put it on. I would recommend this place to everyone and I can’t wait to go back!
