(1 group per day) We reserved a plan for a private room table seat x guest meal ~ Kaiseki meal served by the chef in a private room.
The description said, ``One chef will serve one group of guests the most delicious, freshly prepared food right in front of them, from the appetizer to the final dessert. ''
Kaiseki meals in private rooms are common in accommodations in this price range, but since I only travel once in a while, I thought it would be a special experience, so I decided on this plan.
No matter who reads it or how, I think the chef will be holding a knife and cooking the food right in front of you, right?
On the menu for the day (attached image), there was a note on the fried items that said, ``We will fry it right in front of you. ''
However, the tempura is only brought in from the kitchen next door, and it is unclear who is frying it.
The rest of the menu was never prepared in front of us, just brought in from the kitchen next door.
The tasks in front of me (not cooking) were mixing the salad, putting sauce on the cloud sea pot, and making the last bits of sushi.
That seems like a meal for guests.
That's on the same level as what a waiter would do for a normal course meal, and it's really an exaggeration.
Out of all the inns and hotels I've stayed at, I felt like I was being treated as one of the best, and I felt the worst.
You won't get back the excitement you were looking forward to, the unpleasant time you spent, and the money you wasted.
➜ Among hot springs, I like Kinsen, and I love Arima Onsen.
This time I went to a hot spring inn that had a bath in the room.
First of all, I was impressed by the many "hospitality" services provided in the room.
There were many types of alcoholic beverages, and a variety of sweets were also available, with a mix of Japanese and Western styles.
You might feel full until dinner, but you can sweat it off in the bath in your room, so it's okay!
All the dishes were delicious!
The course here was super filling.
First, start with the dashi soup that is gentle on the body.
They use a siphon to make the bonito soup and soothe your stomach before your meal.
・Appetizers such as abalone crab stew with red bean paste.
・Japanese food.
Fresh lobsters are served and prepared right in front of you!
・Sashimi fatty tuna and sea urchin.
Assorted sashimi made with only big fish.
・This specialty! Sukiyaki!
Sukiyaki that comes out of cotton candy❣️
This was exquisite~
・Tempura 4-5 items.
Since it was still February, crab tempura was served!
・5 pieces of sushi.
So delicious!
I was pretty full.
The dessert ice cream transforms from milk to ice cream right before your eyes with liquid nitrogen (? )!
The bathtub in the room was located a little higher up so that elderly people had to watch their step when entering.
Breakfast was healthy.
Little by little, many types of Japanese food have appeared.
It was a trip to Arima Onsen.

Peaceful. Stayed here for one night to celebrate my birthday. It was an amazing experience bathing in the iron rich water that is caramel brown. My sore muscles felt invigorated.
Following the private spa that was located in the room, went for a private dinner that was meticulously prepared. The food was very good with just the right amount.
