The guesthouse is so unique and cozy, very peaceful and very well equipped.

What an AMAZING find. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind, he went out of his way to help us set up a simple bbq when we requested for one.

The hostel is on the 4th floor of the Tomal building, there's a sign outside the building door.

They opened their doors to us late a night to a lovely quaint space. The host helped us call ahead to our next hostel and gave us recommendations around town.

This place is a gem and so is the host, Satomi! Very simple living to be sure, with an outdoor kitchen and limited bathing time, but nice beds with curtains and extremely convenient to the airport.

We had an extended stay at this wonderful hostel and after many nights in hotels across the country, I can say that this place has the most comfortable beds. It’s very clean.

I stayed for two nights to explore Naze, the center of Amami's downtown area. It's very clean, beautiful and stylish. Is the free space on the 1st floor also a historic cafe bar? Calm down.

Great hotel in the city center. Very nice lobby where you can find board games, have a drink, read manga or do some work. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of the city.

We slept at Little Asia Guesthouse in Kagoshima for 2 nights in March 2025 in a private bunk bed room.

The hostel was clean, and my fellow guests were respectful and quiet.

Amazing guesthouse! Very clean, no smells, no mold issues. Lots of communal spaces, cheap laundry on site with free laundry soap, amazing view, ideal location. What more can I say?

Perfect stop after 3nights in mountain huts. Female dorm was nothing but comfortable and clean. The ensuite bathroom was tiny but sufficient. There's also another wash basin in the room.

Fine hostel close to all of the restaurants and shops in Anbo. Check-in time is only till 18:00, so be aware.

The location is perfect. Close to a bike renting place, close to anbo dock, close to a bus stop leading to yakusugi land for hiking and the yakusugi museum.

One of the best hostels I've been to. Despite its cheap price, the manager makes sure that there is a good social atmosphere and the dorm rooms are clean and quiet.

I liked this place! The owner is flexible, the rooms are confortable, and there is a good space for work or study on the second floor. Also the location is not too far from the city center.

Stayed here for 2 nights and this place is rather inaccessible unless you have a car.

This is a very special place. It is an old house, with all you can expect. But I loved every bit of it. I stayed there alone for 3 nights.
