I had a wonderful time in this lovely guesthouse. Take San came to the airport to get me. His house is really nice and confortable and he is so gentle and calm person.

I used it because it was very cheap and close to the port. The price was almost like that of a guest house, so I went there without expecting much, but it was much better than I expected.

The owner couple were very kind. They even send us to the ferry terminal in the early morning. The food was delicious, room was comfortable.

Room was what I expected and the hot spring bath was perfect. The highlight for me was the food. I ate in both nights and the food was amazing. Highly recommend.

The hostel is on the 4th floor of the Tomal building, there's a sign outside the building door.

They opened their doors to us late a night to a lovely quaint space. The host helped us call ahead to our next hostel and gave us recommendations around town.

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, warmly welcomed by the amazing hosts. The price–quality ratio is honestly one of the best I have ever experienced.

As soon as you enter you feel the warm energy of the kind hosts, they are extremely attentive and will ensure you have a perfect stay.

The place was very lovely and clean! I booked a Japanese Tatami room and the price was really good and have had no discomfort there. There’s Music night in the cafe every Friday and Saturday.

This place is near to the central kagoshima Chuo station. A very friendly staff explained to me the rules and show me around the lastly served me a free complementary coffee.

Room was a bit old and dirty. There was some mold on the side of the tub and when I ran water in the tub, some dirt/grime came up from the drain.
Other than that, service was excellent.

This place is amazing. Small nice rooms with nice shared space, and porch area with sea view. Owners are incredibly helpful and kind. Being able to speak japanese will be a plus.

We had an perfect stay at Luana. The house is very comfortable. The view is gorgeous. You can sit on the terrace watching the sea. The owners are very nice. We had dinner every night andoved the food!

This place is a gem and so is the host, Satomi! Very simple living to be sure, with an outdoor kitchen and limited bathing time, but nice beds with curtains and extremely convenient to the airport.

My favourite place I've stayed at in Japan — a real rustic gem with the friendliest and most welcoming host and a real homey feel.

Great location near Anbo and Anbo Harbor, with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even though we didn’t speak the same language.

Beautiful inexpensive place in Nara. Closest day hike is a little visited waterfall. Onsen is near and it is a solid base with lots of information an booklets.
The host will give you recommendations.

Amazing location in the south of the island.

We stayed 5 nights in an independent "cottage": clean, quiet, very conveniently located next to a bus stop (Gochomae).

Cottage Kutsuroki is the perfect place to stay on Yakushima: clean, well-located, and well-decorated. I could not recommend it more highly to other travelers.

We had an extended stay at this wonderful hostel and after many nights in hotels across the country, I can say that this place has the most comfortable beds. It’s very clean.

We extended our stays from 1 night to 3 nights. The owners are very kind and friendly. They also own coffee shop with some pastas and sunday ice cream.
