A nice play to stay, but parking can be difficult. Our stay was with a group. My wife and I had a tatami room to ourselves, which was peaceful. There is only one bath in the annex building, with a sign that you must flip to show it is occupied. No issue here. The location is a 7 minute walk to the station. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. One speaks good English. With the help of Google Translate, even Japanese beginners shouldn't have much trouble.

Relatively cheap ryokan that isn't too far from the main station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you keep away from the bugs, they keep away from you.

Very nice Ryokan, very clean, outstanding customer service. When we asked for a taxi, the owner insisted in take us to the train station with no charge. Comfortable rooms and bathroom.

急遽泊まることになったのですが、とても丁寧に対応していただきました。しかもゴールデンウィークなのに格安でした。お布団も清潔でフカフカで申し分ないです。

We expected better. The staff is super friendly and one of the ladies speak fluent english. But the ryokan itself is so so. It's old, kinda falling appart, and you have massive cold air flow everywhere, it was really cold inside the building. Luckily, the heater in the room was working well. It's a bit far from the train station also. The baths were in an other building. So we had to cross the street in the cold. The cleanliness was ok but not very good either. Sadly, the other customers were loud and the walls are thin and not soundproofed at all. I would not go there again.

Really lovely Ryokan with friendly owners! Everything was very clean and the tatami mats were super comfortable. Great price as well!

Location was close to the station. 10 walk but be had so much luggage to roll behind is so 15 minutes. Rooms were cosy. Small as most in Japan are but well heated as we went in fall during a cold day. Service was very pleasant. We were greeted well and shown to our rooms. We didn't get to see the service in action that much because we left early morning after 1 day.

We chose this hotel based on his note, comments and photos. The price is attractive but extremely disappointed. Hotel ryokan of the tourist center. We were housed in the main building.
Bedding is comfortable. But the rest gives the impression of a ryokan made of odds and ends. The worst being the common bathroom that nothing like that presented in photo! The main building was not heated and in the bath part, there was an opening on the outside did not close and making back the cold. The bath wooden structure was falling apart! Finally cleanliness was more than limit.
In 3 weeks in Japan, on all made ryokans, it is the institution that has most. I recommend it.

Clean, comfortable and tidy Japanese home style hotel. A little noise when other guests walking around the corridor. Price was a bargain.

Loved this place, it is a little gem! Really affordable but with friendly staff and owners and lovely rooms. We would stay here again if we revisited the area.
