Nothing beats a friendly and helpful host. Julian, Tomoko and their crew made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. When our dinner plans changed, Tomoko immediately whipped up a yummy meal for us. The lodge is cosy and with only 7 rooms, it was never too busy. We will come back
Transport is a little challenging but we managed without a car. The chair lift is a short walk away. More can be done if a car is available.
Incredible food, lovely atmosphere, the most helpful and friendly owners and staff, prime location. Have a hearty home-cooked breakfast, hit the slopes all day, and ski straight back (literally, just take off your skis and walk in the door) to a glass of top shelf whiskey by the fire and a 5-star meal. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch one of Julian’s impromptu piano performances. Wish we could have stayed for longer, but we absolutely will be back again.
