IGLOO Dorm & Breakfast - Hostel

Here are the reasons why you should consider choosing IGLOO in no particular order.
1. The sandwiches mate. Even though the staff are extremely busy, they will always make sure to create delicious homemade sandwiches for us as guests to eat in the morning.
2. If you ever feel lost on what to do in Sapporo, wonder no more. Ask the staff for delicious local restaurants, that they themselves have acknowledged as “good restaurants” famous location and how to get to those locations.
The guesthouse itself are close to Susukino and the staff have made their own custom made map for you to use if you need to navigate around the guesthouse.
3. If you want to have social interactions with other guests and staff this is the perfect guesthouse for you. The front desk, kitchen and common place is in a close approximately to each other and is the key to what makes a guesthouse social.
Even if your the type that rather want be alone, this is probably also one of the best choices for you. The curtains in this guesthouse are very well made and really gives you the “private” sensation.
And they basically have two living rooms, because the other guesthouse “Time & Peace Department” next door is practically run by same staff and company. You are free to use both facilities, including the bathrooms and toilets. If you rather be for yourself and work on something quiet you are always free to go to the other living room.
4. I ended up staying for 10 days+ for a reason, loved the place!

Igloo is in a great location. Just a few minutes walk away from central Sapporo — close enough to the action but far enough away where a quiet, good night's sleep is guaranteed.
Oh, was also surprised to learn they had a free breakfast! Breakfast sandwiches were waiting for us in the fridge when we woke up. Would definitely recommend this to other travelers.
