We stayed a few nights in the dormitory. It was very comfy. The owners and people working there are so nice and gentle! Food is great too and baths are brand new, clean and hot as wished. It's a very good place to stay, get rested, resourced, in the middle of nature. Very nice interiors too. I recommend it a lot!

I stayed here with my girlfriend in 2017, we were surprised as we did not expect it to be so far away and in a town so little. But the sorroundings, the ryokan, the onsen, the food, the people who work and live there, in general the vibe of this little town and ryokan is amazing, it's a real Japanese rural town with zero exposure to mainstream. No vendings machines in the little town, just a little river that runs in the middle of it, forests all around, peace and quietness. Would really recommend visiting this ryokan! :D.
