The hotel's location is good — near the bus stop, taxi stand, close to the St. Francis Basilica, and downhill from the center of town. The rooms are cozy and well maintained, and are cleaned every day. The family running the place maintain a friendly atmosphere and are as helpful as possible. Most of them do not speak much English, but we were able to get by using Google Translate and some broken Italian. There are lots of eating places and places to visit close by. There is a lift/elevator in the building. The pricing is also very reasonable for the location.
Great value, has everything you need. My room was small single but was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was fairly basic but quite typical for Italian standards. Had cereal, toast, pastries, yoghurts, cheese. Coffee made to order.
Located few minutes from bus stop and St. Francis Basilica, so good for accessing that but be warned if you are planning to spend more time in the centre of the old town (where most restaurants are), it’s a very big hill!
