We stayed two nights at this hotel, I recommend it for the kindness of the staff and for the quality and quantity of food.
Hotel very attentive to anti-covid regulations.
We also enjoyed the outdoor environment and pool.
I also recommend it for holidays with children.

I was a guest of the Hotel Posta with my family and my little dog in August 2018. Having to carry out the spa treatment cycle at Chianciano Terme, my choice fell on this Hotel. Well-received choice:
The hotel is located near the Sillene spas a stone's throw from Piazza Italia and the most frequented places.
Great welcome (Olga and Goofy the owners), super staff especially Chiara and Carmine without taking anything away from others. Great cuisine. You could choose from more options, great pool with lounger (you should take care a little green that's around) and great parking car inside. They welcome with open arms the little four-legged friends, which is no small thing.
From where it is located you can easily reach the cities and villages that are worth visiting and are not few.
If you like peace, it's the place to stay.
The only advice I would give, is about cleaning the room: perhaps because of the haste it was done in a sometimes superficial way.
I take advantage to greet everyone, hello Olga-Pippo-Chiara-Carmine-Simonetta etc. Etc.

I was at the hotel posted there in the week of August. True that hotel would need a nice renovation because the place deserves a nice pool a lot of space. The staff were very friendly. The very good and helpful owners. The waiters Carmine and Chiara nice, friendly and professional. I'd go back.

The stay did not go as planned.
I was moved to a hotel of the same owners, a 4 star, because they offered me better accommodation.
Compared to what they propose on booking in reality they offer nothing.
Disappointing in every respect and it is useless to dwell in descriptions.

All smoke no roast.
Small rooms, hard beds, poor hygiene, poor and bad food. The rooms are noisy indeed you hear every little outside noise; the staff is uninformed and rude, especially the waitresses (except Clare kind and prepared). The pool is poorly kept full of insects and shallow. Absolutely not recommended.

I have just returned from 5 days spent in this Hotel of Chianciano Terme. It is necessary to assume that Chianciano is a particular location, where the accommodation facilities are numerous many closed and everything seems frozen and still in the 80s (perhaps even 70). My expectations, read the reviews, were very low. But I have to disagree. Here's my experience, I'm going to give 1 to 5 votes.
Personal: rating 4: the owners are very kind and helpful what I asked I always had without grievances or annoyed faces, the waiters especially Chiara, very kind professional and very nice only flaw the waitress of our room that every day she forgot something, I am very careful to clean and we say that although also kind, I found her a little distracted.
Rooms: Rating 3 our room was spacious but really dated, ruined furniture, a little decadent, wires of the. Exposed phone, switches smashed in short compared to the photos of the site looks like another structure. However there were no spiders, it was not dirty, the bathrooms old but the shower well functioning clean, although I repeat the furniture also of the. Bathroom just to be redone. The bed comfortable very clean sheets thing not by little that allowed to overcome the other flaws.
Food: grade 2.5 Let's say that you eat but not excellently I ate well I never took the pasta and I made myself do light things.

In the rooms is very cold dirty bed The phone does not dry anything indecent and rude waiters and there is not miss the Wi-Fi.

This "hotel" is impracticable, rooms dirty with even the powder to kill the spiders in the room.
Not to mention the hairdryer of the years 80 that do not dry hair.
We also have completely broken showers with the water coming out of the cracks.
Food almost inedible, only if you are hungry you can angiare something, waiters who do not even know the name of the dish that lead to the table.
Coffee that tastes of water with brown dye inside.
Hairs in the bed, nails on the walls, in short, 3 stars absolutely not deserved.
1 star is the ideal rating.

Bad. I only put a star because zero can not put. The small rooms: to make you an example to go from a bed to the bathroom you have to do somersaults and jumps also dirty, dirty showers, broken, rusty, non-existent in short, impracticable. In the room you're never alone because there are spiders and worms of various kinds that come in and out of the rooms. Not to mention the food: raw, tasteless, etc. As if it were not enough dirty dishes and hairs were found in the dishes. A nail was found next to a bed. This blunt object could have caused wounds. In the heart of Chianciano Terme, excellent for schools and large groups. Kitchen and service OK.

This hotel is reported as a three star, already one is all too! Not to be sure… The bathroom is the most shameful thing… Discouraged…

They don't have very working Wi-Fi.

Maximum availability, great service, amazing cuisine.

Hotel definitely to review in many details. Broken tiles, common ambient cleaning…
Food: I understand that the Cunina is for the masses but the rush to the buffet and the bruschettas that come after the first… Organization to improve. Sufficient quality.
