Thank you to Elisa for a wonderful stay at her charming bed and breakfast establishment in Mazzolla. The room was large and comfortable with fantastic views. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful, comprising of lovely local treats, wonderful coffee and Elisa’s warm welcome. Mazzolla is an excellent centre for hiking and for visiting nearby towns such as Volterra, San Gimignano and Sienna. An additional asset is that there is a wonderful restaurant, Albana, just around the corner.
Lovely b&b. Elisa is super friendly and provides a delicious — home made — breakfast. The room was beautiful and the bath tub is great for a romantic time. We had dinner in the restaurant of the little town and it was fantastic. If we return to Tuscany we would love to come back.

The b&b was charming and rustic. Room had Jacuzzi, funkey wall decorations above the bed of opened books, a birdcage with a lamp inside it and an old fashioned record player. The restaurant next door was excellent. The setting of the b&b is gorgeous, surrounded by trees and mountains. The only problem was that to get anywhere you had to drive for at least half an hour through roads with hairpin turns. But the stay was worth it.
