Great hotel in an historic palazzo at walking distance of all the major sights in Firenze. Great for you city trip, nice restaurants again at walking distance. Great breakfast option, friendly, knowledgable and invested staff.

Hotel cinque stelle in centro a Firenze. Staff da 6 stelle, se possibile, hotel da quattro stelle e mezzo solo x piccoli difetti. Colazione magnifica, stanze ampie con ogni confort, sulle stile NH. Molto comodo il cellulare dato a disposizione con internet e chiamate illimitate. Wi-Fi ottimo. Camere con impianto di condizionamento perfetto. Unica pecca, il palazzo storico ha costretto a fare dei cortili interni un groviglio di tubi e condizionatori e le finestre che lì si affacciano non sono il massimo (anche x qualche fastidioso rumore). Ma tutto il resto ripaga dei piccoli disagi. Merita di essere provato.

On one morning, we were served special porridge for breakfast when the Thai chef found out we were missing porridge a great deal!

The service is friendly. And the rooms are beautiful-Italian architecture and design. Very central location but very quiet too.

Excellent hotel in a historic building in the centre, a stone's throw from the Uffizi. Spacious and very comfortable rooms, large windows and high ceilings, fireplaces in marble and stone, very professional staff and very rich breakfast in the rooms of the restaurant Savini truffles.

Sable truffles… If you like truffles and a classy venue this is the place for you. Great openings and flat optics.

We checked into this hotel after a horrible experience with Ambasciatori Hotel Florence. They had an open room we checked in early with every accommodation met. They were apologetic about an experience they had nothing to do with and went to make it better. Starting at the front desk and continued through check out. We arrived at 7am and they were so very sweet. Close to everything and all food.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and experience at the NH Porta Rossa. We upgraded to the 12th century Bell tower presidential suite and it was worth every penny. Three floors of luxury and 360 degree views of Florence! The breakfast spread is a delicious assortment of meats, cheeses, breads and fruits. The hotel itself is within walking distance (500m at most) to all major attractions. We've promised ourselves that we will return one day!

Excellent… in every way… perfect attention. Luxury atmosphere… outstanding location… rooms clean and bright… if you come by car it is a little difficult to get. But there is a parking lot right in the back street via della terme… in short-a luxury.

Five stars to a hotel that is worth five stars. Beautiful structure in the center of Florence. Frescoed rooms with a modern furniture and a perfect fusion between the two styles.
Do not miss the suite in the tower from which you can admire a beautiful view. In This tree they filmed some scenes of "my Friends". Elegant and sophisticated, professional and prepared staff. Not for everyone but to try.

The service has been fantastic, I was a little irritated because I accidentally booked the wrong dates and called immediately to try and fix the dates but they would not let cancel, so basically had to eat two nights at 450$ a night on our honeymoon was a little upsetting, but glad we came because the property is beautiful and staff speaks perfect English and are some of the most helpful and knowledge staff I have met.

A very nice old hotel, absolutely steeped in history. Front desk is just a little flighty and sound attenuation in the hallways is very poor (simply closing a door sounds like a loud slam) but the location simply can't be beat.

Spent 5 nights at this great little hotel. Perfect Location, great staff and the breakfast in the morning is excellent and needed to start your day exploring Florence.

The hotel of the lesbian scene of my friends. But it is not this remarkable of the red door, but the peculiarity of the rooms, all different and very large. For a stay at the height of the beauties of Florence. Pity they have modernized the previous furniture, much more characteristic and romantic.

Nice place in a great location, immediately surrounded by all the high end shopping you could want. My room was clean and well finished, but for a "superior double" it's fairly small. I haven't tried the restaurants.

I absolutely love this hotel. I stayed three nights here with my daughter and we both enjoyed it.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious. The location is perfect for walking to all the sights. The breakfast was wonderful.
The only negative thing I can say is that the bed was too firm. The hotel added a pad and that helped a little.
I would definitely stay here again!

Good location with walking distance to most of the sight. Room was big, clean, comfortable and well decorated. There is safe, fridge and free Wi-Fi. There is paid parking nearby and not belong to the hotel. Breakfast is above standard. Fresh and well prepared,

The location of the hotel is MAGNIFICENT, to a stone's throw from everything, you're within walking distance to all sites. The hotel inside is beautiful, a very old building as this superbly decorated both the building as the rooms. The rooms are huge with a warm touch and very cool. The bathroom is also huge like the bed that you can easily lose. The breakfast great, very varied and with some products of first quality. The ratio quality/price is really good. The only point I give bad though it is alien to them is loudness, in our room even with the windows closed and the gates could be heard to the "partiers" in the area, being located as well it is a zone of passage. Although facilitators sleeping without problems. Ultimately we love.
