Hotel Berchielli

Stayed here for four nights on a bed and breakfast basis. No Room with a View (! ) sadly but a stunning hotel nonetheless. Amazing building with period features, cleanliness beyond anything I’ve experienced in a hotel. Lovely double room with marble en suite. Fragrant complimentary toiletries, fluffy towels. The smoothest bed linen and comfortable bed. Evening turn down service. Carpets thick and plush which deadens noise at night.
Staff are incredibly helpful and charming without being officious.
Do be aware that the hotel.
Has a €7 euro per night holiday tax which is added to your bill on check out.
I had a couple of drinks from the hotel bar which I took up to the beautiful roof terrace. Drinks prices are not prohibitive — €7 for a Prosecco and €15 for what I’m reasonably sure was a triple gin with tonic!
I enjoyed breakfast each morning and the buffet choices are superb. Tea and coffee to order. There are numerous juices and San Pellegrino water. Cereals and granola. Lots of pastries many custard filled, at least three different cakes — the chocolate hazelnut one is to die for. There are hot scrambled eggs American bacon two types sausage and pancakes. Cold meats and cheeses and smoked salmon. A huge variety of the nicest bread rolls I’ve ever tasted and bread for toasting. Yoghurts and butter in a mini fridge. Fruits galore and fresh fruit salad prunes apricots and sliced melon and pineapple.

The best hotel of our entire 2 week Italy trip! We arrived before check-in time and were told that our room was ready. On top of that, we were upgraded for free to a room with a superb view of the Ponte Vecchio! The bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. The best thing about this hotel was the buffet breakfast spread! The staff were extremely sweet and friendly and professional. The spread included a wide variety of breads, pastries, cold cuts and fruits which were all delicious. The cutest thing was our names written on top our coffees. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great location! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue with one of the toilets but it was repaired when requested. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace with our glasses of wine! Breakfast was included in the price which made it convenient. Many restaurants and bars located very near and the restaurant has a lovely bar as well.
The rooms are very well decorated and the bathrooms are large with exquisite tile work.
It is a very short walk through a small alleyway to the river. It was a 15 minute walk from the train station through the small, delightful streets of Rome.
Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, the service at the reception was exceptional. We were greeted with genuine warmth and made to feel welcome right away.
Our room was simply spacious, and clean. Even if our window was facing a wall, it we enjoyed every moment of our stay there.
The personalized cappuccinos during breakfast were a delightful surprise! With our room number they got our names to find them on the capuccinos at the table after picking up our breakfast from the buffet.
Thank you for making our stay memorable right in the centre of Florence!

What a place! Subdued building, but, open the door to luxury! A wonderful few of the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio bridge! Breakfast was superb! Our suite was lovely, and very quiet once you settled down for the night and closed the windows! Staff are friendly and helpful. Would love to come back…. Soon!

Lovely hotel, breakfast choice is great, BUT air conditioning is old and not effective. However best location.

Lived in Berchielli during Christmas holidays. No claims, even if not want to reproach. One view on the Arno. All the bridges, many churches, including the only one in the Baroque style. Comfortable, clean, decent Breakfast, helpful staff, proximity to all красотам. Не try to look for another in the same class.
