Great room equipment, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Our facilities also included a bathtub, a personal scale and an electric kettle. You can get a side sleeper pillow free of charge. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrobes were also ready. In the beautifully designed backyard of the hotel there is a hot tub that can be used. The interior of the hotel is tasteful and upscale. Breakfast international and good. The hotel's restaurant offers fine cuisine, which is highly recommended. Very friendly service in the evening by the owner of the hotel. You are treated here very friendly. We will definitely be back.

The staff is very kind, the room perfect, the shower with extra-relaxing chromotherapy, breakfast, cozy spaces and family environment.

Rooms were not terribly well sound proofed but bedroom was a good size with a roomy walk in wardrobe. Bathroom was well fitted out just a little narrow where the hot towel rail was in front of the toilet. The location was brilliant, close enough to walk to the key landmarks an very close to the main railway and bus station. I would definitely stay here again.

My time at Hotel Rivoli, while short, was nothing less than amazing. Our first night we had dinner reservations that we asked if we could move to the next night because we were tired. The front desk gladly called the restaurant and arranged to have our reservation changed and they preceded to get us a reservation at their Michelin fork restaurant, Benedicta, and it was great. The staff of the hotel were always smiling and happy to help. Hopefully I can make another trip to Florence to stay in this amazing hotel again.

We really loved our stay at the Hotel Rivoli. It's housed in a previous monastery, but kept so well and clean by the current owners. We had the privilege of being in a great room on the fourth floor, which had a huge bathroom and wonderful view of the entire courtyard. The breakfast included was great (a cold bar + eggs and bacon for Americans like us) and, at night, the restaurant is also regarded as one of the best "well kept secrets" of Tuscan food in the area. The location is also desirable — nearby the train station and a short walk from the Duomo.

Much much better than the pictures from internet. Very clean, very big in the inside, and staffs are really friendly and nice. I truely recommend this hotel. No doubt that this hotel is one of the finest hotel in Florence. (I know it was a hot summer. When I stayed. But um. Heater malfunction was disappointed. It was cold. ) No way to warm up a room. In stead of that, it's perfect hotel.

Our recent stay in Florence was made more enjoyable by staying at the boutique hotel Rivoli. It was very close to the train station and restaurants near the canal. The room was decent for Italy and the pool and restaurant at the hotel made our trip more enjoyable. We would stay here again.

Very good food. Nice people. Pretty facility. Rooms are small. You have to put your key in a slot to turn on the a/c, which is weak.

Hotel in the centre of Florence, a 5-minute walk from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station and 10 minutes from the Duomo, great location on that street there are many restaurants. Breakfast from 7 to 10.30 very abundant buffet, clean rooms and quite large. The only bad thing is very difficult to get there by car because in limited traffic area, however then the car with an extra cost will be taken to a garage and then the fines will be cancelled.

My wife and I stayed here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and it was great! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! I highly recommend!

Loved it! We were tired and weary from the road. Exhausted from the constant walking that is touring. The Rivoli is like a sanctuary in the city. Outside is the hustle and bustle but inside the Rivoli is peace and calm. Relax in the garden or the hot tub with a glass of wine. Of course all is beautiful and the room is comfortable, but it is the kind and caring staff one remembers so fondly. Would not think of staying anywhere else.

Fantastic hotel located very close to the main visiting places of Florence, as well as the train station and the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has beautiful terraces and a pretty full breakfast.

Hotel Rivoli staff — bus boys to breakfast wait staff — were fantastic! We would like to especially recognize Paola at the desk and Sonny in the bar area; thank you, thank you, thank you! We highly recommend this hotel and the location is perfectly situated with easy access to the Piazza de Duomo, train and bus stations and a short taxi to the airport. We loved our room — 136 — it was very clean and kept that way. We will be back — Grazie!

Room in front of the Grand Canal and just a step from the Rialto bridge very good location.

We loved it here. Very clean, spacious room with a great washroom with excellent water pressure. We had a little patio from our room and it was so cozy. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast selection was great. Location was amazing we walked everywhere, but didn’t feel like we were in the centre of all the hustle and bustle.

I am afraid my overall experience of the hotel was tarnished by the attitude of the woman at reception (explanation of what happened supplied if necessary). I felt that I could not enjoy my stay at the hotel because of that. We decided not to eat at the restaurant because we felt the hotel was unfriendly. We are not sensitive, critical or fussy people and feel that the attitude of the reception at check-in really affects the mood and view of people coming into the hotel for their stay. I was very disappointed.

Strategic for Florence, kindness and professionalism.

Great up to date hotel, cool shower. The only drawback is the thermostat is controlled mainly by the front desk but you can get them to raise or lower the temperature thresholds with a phone call. Service was also amazing… Staff is superb.

The rooms are small but clean and the staff is friendly. The Room have shampoo and soap but no toothpaste, toothbrush and electric kettle. If you leave the laundry before 9 am, it will be completed in the afternoon. There is a small communal jacuzzi in the hotel, so it's good to relax and relax.

The third bed in the 3 room was really uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't that good. The rest was pretty decent.

I could not believe our luck in finding this little gem! Our room, 505, felt like a little Villa, with its outside entrance and it's loft bedroom. We had wine and snacks in the courtyard, dinner in the Michelin rated restaurant, and it was in the perfect location. Staff were very helpful. Highly recommend! The pool area was closed for renovations when we were there, but too cold to use it anyway. Hopefully it will be ready by summer, though because that would make this place even better!

Location good, just few steps from the train station. The hall, the bathroom and the congress room were very clean and tidy. The receptionist was nice.

Central and convenient to the station. To be a 4 star I expected more manicured environments and more attention towards the customer. Still good to be downtown.

Location is right in the historic district. Breakfast is phenomenal. Room is large and has a nice tub. Staff are nice and very helpful. Wifi is included and coverage on the room is good. The room door is a bit thin though, as you can hear guests in the nearby room. I would stay here again.

Central Place to visit Florence.

Great location right behind the station. Structure maybe a little dated in the hallways, but newly furnished rooms in modern style and with every comfort. Very spacious shower also with lateral jets and chromotherapy.

Clean, perfect location, Alex at the front desk was really friendly and helpful and a really nice guy, breakfast for Italy was good not a real Ausie breakfast but not complaining.
I am so fuzzy about most things and have no complaints, I was very impressed. Would most certainly recommend the Hotel Rivoli to everyone I know and only hope I get the opportunity to stay here again.

Wonderfully hotel, excellence services. Location is excellent, need station and main tourist attractions. The reason it didn't get 5 was the breakfast, the crossiant treated lemony and the eggs over cooked.

A place for everybody too lazy for long walks to the historic centre. Rooms are okay, spacy enough, but don't expect king size beds. I was sharing a room with a friend — not a lover — and it was very tight, even in a 3 bed-room. Personal was not very helpful about it. Breakfast was okay, too; but it's mediocre, not really bad, but not oppulent at all. So if you like breakfast more brunch-like you have to add the "unch" somewhere else. Recommend to park the car somewhere at a safe public place, because near the hotel is no free parking and the fee is not worth the value. I'm not so convinced about the value for the price; okay, not more.

This old hotel, where four-star standards 2 star.

First off, I'll talk about the pros. The location is great and is very close (maybe a 5 minute walk) to the train station. It's also within walking distance to most main attractions in Florence. Despite all that, it was very quite (traffic wise). There was construction in the area during our stay, but that went on during the day so we never had any problems with noise. The room we had was a bit funny and felt a bit like an attic, but it was a charming attic! We had a bit of a surprise when we first opened the room door and found a flight of stairs right in front of us. Once we walked up, it was a small sleeping area then another short flight of stairs leading to the bathroom. But we're not mainly in Florence to slum around in our hotel room, so the size didn't matter. The room was sunny and had a nice balcony that we can sit out and enjoy the sunset. The bathroom wasn't the roomiest I've been in but it's serviceable and fairly new looking. There's complimentary breakfast, which doesn't include a lot of variety. But that's okay. We're not in Florence to eat hotel food anyways, though their hot chocolate is just lovely. There is reportedly a hot tub/pool but we really weren't in the hotel that often to have used it. Now the cons. Or I guess there is only one con. Lack of free Wi-Fi in this day and age! We booked the hotel through Go-Today, so maybe it's their hotel description that misled us.

Loved this hotel! Very nice rooms, plenty of room and a very adorable price. Hotel restaurant had amazing food and service, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend this hotel.
